51 Ch 50 : Sasuke's secret strategy

'Focus Sakura..'

Sakura took a deep breath as she remembered Sanada's words.

Her fist began to gather the surrounding water vapor as she was now in Total Concentration Breathing mode.

"Karakusagawara Seiken!!!!"

Sakura's fist hit Gaara's abdomen, which made him almost vomit.

This one blow was the strongest hit Gaara had ever taken, and he never expected that a slim woman like Sakura would possess such strong power.

If he could choose right now, he would rather tank Sasuke's slash than take another one of Sakura's full-powered blows.

Gaara was blown away a few meters, but the ferocious combo from Sakura and Sasuke kept going.

They knew they should not let Gaara take the momentum, or else the situation could be reversed at any time.

With one sword and one fist, Sakura and Sasuke kept covering each other.

The moment that Sakura's attack was blocked by Gaara's Sand Hand, Sasuke would use his Yubashiri to slash at Gaara's neck.

But when Gaara tried to block Sasuke's slash, Sakura was ready to land another full power punch on him.

BOOMM!! BOOMM!! BOOMM!!!

Fire, sand, and water kept being thrown around the battlefield as the battle got more intense.

Even though Gaara was strong, he was still unable to do much against Sakura and Sasuke's perfect coordination.

In one of the moments, Sasuke was able to slash Gaara's shoulder, and Sakura quickly followed with a Yarinami to knock Gaara away high into the air.

Gaara also wouldn't easily lose. Even with the combined force of Sasuke and Sakura, he still tried to retaliate and was somehow able to inflict some wounds on Sakura and Sasuke's body.

"ENOUGH!!!!"

Gaara screamed as several minutes of him getting ping-ponged by Sakura and Sasuke had passed. With Gaara screaming both Sakura and Sasuke took the chance and appeared right next to him.

"Karakusagawara Seiken!!!!"

"Hinokami Kagura: Enbu!!!"

BOOMM!!!!

A huge explosion occurred as both Sasuke's, and Sakura's attack hit their target.

Under normal circumstances, the two would be happy when their attack hit Gaara, but instead, their faces looked grim.

The moment their attack was about to end this battle, Garra suddenly kept transforming more into a monster, this time leaving only his feet that had yet to be transformed.

If Sasuke and Sakura were still able to somewhat safely handle the situation before, Gaara's transformation this time was able to reverse their situation.

A large sand hand appeared to block the two attacks, and their attacks were unable to reach Gaara.

*Swoosh*

Gaara flailed his arm as the two Genin were thrown away into some random trees.

Of course, Sasuke and Sakura didn't just give up.

They tried to force Gaara into a situation like before where the two of them could take the offensive, but the fully transformed Gaara proved to be a tad bit too strong for them.

"Wind Release: Infinite Sand Cloud - Great Breakthrough!!"

A ridiculous amount of sand bullets were launched from Gaara's mouth, which forced Sasuke and Sakura to dodge and think once again about their strategy.

The two used substitution jutsu to dodge the sand bullets and arrived at a nearby tree with slightly pale faces as they had consumed a lot of Chakra in all of these confrontations with Gaara.

"Sasuke, what should we do? If we continue to like this, I think our Chakra will be depleted before we are able to take down Gaara...."

Sasuke heard Sakura's words and frowned.

Her words were correct. Under their current circumstances, they wouldn't be able to beat Gaara, and the best option was probably to run.

But Sasuke, despite having lost a bit of his edginess, didn't change his pride from not allowing him to run away from the battle like this.

He looked at Gaara as he gritted his teeth.

"Let's try once more Sakura, I have a strategy."

Sasuke said that as he flashed towards Gaara.

Sakura could only shake her head helplessly at Sasuke's conduct. In the end, she still decided to follow.

Sakura appeared right in front of Gaara in an attempt to engage him in close combat with Lapras as her support.

Lapras was spamming ice beams from below, which helped reduce Sakura's burden a bit. (Editor Note:When will PP run out?) (Author Note: Sakura use the gameshark of infinite PP >_<)

Sakura's attack hit the target, but once again, the sand armor was proven to be a hard nut to crack.

She used her legs to kick Gaara's face, but that was easily swayed away by Gaara's sand arm.

Sakura was in a really bad condition right now. Even if she was able to hold herself against Gaara, she knew she wouldn't last long.

She could only put her hopes on Sasuke's plan working. If not, the two were pretty much guaranteed to meet their demise.

While Sakura was engaging Gaara in close combat, Sasuke chose to appear above the two of them, with his striking position preparing for a Hinokami Kagura: Clear Blue Sky.

He had tried this attack before, and the result ended up being him failing to graze Gaara's body, so why would he try to do it again?

The reason was Sanada's secret strategy that he had told Sasuke before.

'Sasuke, if you ever find yourself in a perilous situation, there is one word that you can say to get a major power boost. And that word is...'

When Sasuke heard this sentence, he obviously thought Sanada was joking with him.

But now, he hoped that Sanada's words were true and that he could rely on it in this kind of situation.

He swung his blade downward at 360° slash at Gaara, and then...

"Naruto!!!!!!!!"

Sasuke screamed loudly and somehow just after doing it, Sasuke felt his blood burning, and the amount of Chakra he could pump into his sword had dramatically increased.

The blade that was now shining with a flame incomparable to before directly struck at the transformed Gaara's neck.
