22 Ch 21 : Foodgasm!

Because of the so much negative feedback of the previous -what if- chapter, I'm here to clarify.

What if chapter is a one-time-only, and it is just a special bonus for my patron. I'm uploading the first part here was just to commemorate the 1k Power stone. And yeah, it has no correlation with the plot at all >_<

" You? What are you doing here?" Kurenai was startled when she saw the owner of this restaurant was none other than Sanada.

Previously she didn't have that much contact with Sanada, but she still knew that Sanada was the same as her, a Jonin instructor. So when she saw Sanada was managing a restaurant, she felt pretty confused.

" Hmm, you already know each other? This is Sanada, the owner of this restaurant!" Said Yugao as she tried to introduce Kurenai to Sanada.

But of course, the introduction was pretty useless as both of them had known each other.

" Oh, hello Kurenai-senpai! I'm here because I am the owner of this restaurant, isn't this obvious?" Greeted Sanada to Kurenai.

Sanada didn't pretend and explained the real situations to Kurenai and Yugao. He didn't want to make suspicions, and for that, he would rather tell the things truthfully.

When Kurenai listened to Sanada's explanations, her eyes were wide with shock. The two of them was new Jonin instructor, and it was the first time they did this. So Kurenai could not understand how Sanada could think so much ahead, which somehow made her ashamed.

Compared to Sanada, what has she done until now? She had tried to make Hinata become more confident in herself, but it was all futile until now.

Kiba, Shino, and Hinata, the three of them were from Konoha's big clan, and besides accompanying them for some missions, there was not much that Kurenai could do for them.

The man in front of her was a bit younger than her, but he was doing this much for his disciples, which made Kurenai a bit interested in him. ' What is inside his head so that he could think of something like this.' Kurenai thought secretly.

" Hmm? What is this? Why haven't I seen this on the menu before?" Said Yugao as she observed the new dish brought by Sanada. She had been trying almost all the food here as a regular, so when Sanada brought an unfamiliar dish, Yugao's curiosity was picked.

Kurenai, on the other hand, even though she was not a regular here, could see that the dish Sanada brought was not usual, ad she could not help but want to try it.

Sanada looked at the two getting curious, and smiled. However, he had no intention to answer. Sometimes tasting it themself would be better than listening to Sanada's long explanation.

The two finally couldn't hold back their curiosity anymore, and without any further due, used their spoon to take a spoonful of the dish.

The juice inside the lettuce had been spreading everywhere when they touched the lettuce with the spoon, and it gave a flavorful aroma that they had never smelled before.

Yugao and Kurenai looked at each other at the same time. They gulped their saliva and eventually took a bite of the dish at the same time.

BOOM!!! The dish exploded in the two's mouths. Sweet, savory, and a bit of sourness filled their mouth! The aroma of the dish filled their mind, and their body began to desire the dish.

It took a few minutes for the two of them to fully recover from that mood after Sanada brought a glass of water for them to drink.

" Sanada, what kind of this is that? Why haven't I tasted it before?" Said Yugao as her eyes now looked at Sanada like a predator. The taste of Sanada's food was way too potent for a woman, and even Yugao could not control herself anymore.

" Yeah... what kind of this is that? Can you cook for us more?" Kurenai also didn't want to lose and began to ask. Compared to Sanada's food, all the food she had tasted before was nothing.

Sanada could only smile awkwardly at this moment. He knew that the taste of his food was good, but he never thought it would be this effective.

In fact, Sanada had never used more than 20% of Shinomiya Kojiro's full power before, and only now that he used 80% of Shinomiya Kojiro's power to impress the two women. But now that he thought about it, it seems he had made a mistake.
