Epilouge 2: Aftermath

The news of the revolt of the Gold and Silver Brothers made waves throughout the Shinobi World, but the news of the deaths of both the Second Raikage and the Second Hokage was even greater. With their deaths, both villages fell into states of chaos as they both decided to withdraw their troops. This also meant that every single second generation Kage had lost their lives during the war.

Every village was forced to fall into a time of peace as they needed to rebuild their military might before they could hope to go to war again.

This event is what caused the end of the 1st Great Ninja War.

The 6 students of Tobirama were the only ones to make it back to the village, with them informing the village about Tobirama's decision to make them the Hokage.

They hurrily reported what happened while saying that Hiruzen had been appointed as the 3rd Hokage by Tobirama.

But before they swore him in, they requested Tobirama's body from Kumo. However, in a strange set of events, Kumo swore that they didn't hold Tobirama's body.

This led to an even greater tension between the two villages, though Hiruzen refused to have the village cotinue the war and simply held the funeral without his body.

The atmosphere in the village was extremely somber and depressing, as many viewed Tobirama's death as a great travesty due to the many accomplishments he made during his tenure as Hokage.

From creating the Academy that allowed civilians to become shinobi, to the creation of the ANBU Black Ops that silently defend the village, the majority of the policies that Tobirama created turned Konoha into a major powerhouse and pioneer of the Shinobi World.

The person to speak at his funeral was Mito, who explained the hope of Tobirama about the future as well as him passing on his Will of Fire to all the young people in the village.

The days after the funeral were also not filled with much peace as a massive amount of turmoil occured.

Since only Tobirama's students returned, there were no other witnesses to him naming Hiruzen as the Hokage.

This meant that many of the Clans viewed Hiruzen as an unofficial Hokage, and therefore resisted his ascension into the position. They resisted his orders while also contradicting him in many missions.

This caused Hiruzen to begin to dilate the power of the Clans by sending many of their stronger shinobi on more dangerous missions, weakening the foundations of them.

He also gave Homura and Koharu the positions of Councilor in the village while naming Danzo as an Elder and ANBU leader, consolidating power through this. Danzo also took this opportunity to create the Root division that would later become famous.

He also had Kagami become an Elder in the Uchiha Clan so that he could keep tabs on them while Torifu simply stayed as a village jonin.

The Uzumaki Clan also completely left the Land of Whirlpools as they fully integrated into Konoha, with them becoming a massively major clan with a lot of power.

Hiruzen originally attempted to control them, but the existence of the Senju Clan stopped him from taking any large measures.

From that point on, the title of First Clan of Konoha could be given to either the Senju, Uchiha, Hyuga, or the Uzumaki, with them becoming the 4 leading Clans in Konoha.

Tsunade also gathered together her training group as they began to train harder in becoming the next generation of Konoha.

She also held out hope that Tobirama was still alive, as she figured that he could not be dead until she saw his body with her own eyes.

They all grew consistently in terms of both skill and power, with them all making considerable gains in strength.

From Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, to obscure Ninjutsu that Tobirama had left for them, they learned many new things, some that only they knew of. They even became famous around the Village as they became known as the 15 Bright Lights of Konoha.

They grew rapidly as time passed around them, and before anyone knew it, 5 years had passed.
