132 Epilogue 3: Changes

Waves stirred strongly in the Village as the news of the 2nd Hokage being alive spread like wildfire.

The people in the Village were stunned by the news, though the happiness they possessed was immense in their hearts.

The Second Hokage may not have been as strong as Hashirama, but the contributions he made to the Village were so great that he was remembered as a legend in the Village.

And learning that such a man returned during the War, they grew happy as they felt that the Village would be invincible with both the Second and Third Hokage.

Tobirama had met with Hiruzen and his other students that were still in the Village and told them he did not wish to get involved in the affairs of Village.

He did not wish to change or divide the current power structure in the Village, with him instead choosing to remain retired other than being able to offer them advice whenever they needed it.

However, while that was what he had told them, Tobirama was in fact beginning a new plan in secret.

The fact that Madara was still alive sent shivers down his spine, and while he knew that the man had to be growing weaker in his old age similar to himself, he could never be prepared enough for a being like The Ghost of the Uchiha.

Tobirama chose to put his faith in the person he felt had the most potential to surpass Madara: Tsunade.

He had heard the rumors of what had occurred with his granddaughter over the past few years, causing him to believe that she could actually even surpass his brother.

Therefore, he chose to train Tsunade to the best of his capabilities to prepare her for any danger that may occur in the future.

Tsunade and he began their training a week after his return to the Village.

But while his return had created shockwaves in the Village, greater ones were made once the news spread throughout the Ninja World.

In the Land of Lightning, Kumogakure chose to pull their troops from the border with Konoha and focus on combating the new Iwa force, with their reasoning being not knowing the validity of Tobirama's return and not wishing to currently engage in a full-scale invasion with Konoha, which would be necessary to overtake the Land of Fire.

So, with that, Konoha no longer stood actively at war with any other Village, making them leave from the Second Great Shinobi World War, and basically declaring them as the winner.

With this, Konoha now stood as the Strongest Shinobi Village with it's ninja.

Many Shinobi had gained great notoriety in the world during this war, with them including The White Fang Sakumo Hatake, Evil Eye Kenta, The Blue Beast of Konoha, The 14th Generation of Ino-Shika-Cho, & The Legendary Sannin.

This doesn't include the other members of their generation who have grown to have immense strength themselves and gained subsequent titles, or those that would continue to grow and gain them in the future.

Add on both the Second and Third Hokage, Danzo, Hamura, Kagami, Koharu, Mito, and the Clan Patriarchs, most of whom that hadn't even joined the war, and the Village of Konoha objectively stood as the most powerful in the world.

And this strength would lead to newfound prosperity in the Village in both economic and individual ways.

The Village built new infrastructures and expanded many organizations that existed, with Tsunade proposing and getting approval on many essential ideas that could better Konoha.

From the addition of teaching Elemental Nature Changes in the Academy to increasing the Mandatory Graduation Age to 15, to making the Academy have 10 graduation levels to help develop better Shinobi while also giving them different pathways to excel at.

Tsunade also used her notoriety to open the first Medical School in Konoha, it was a Graduate School from the Academy but could also be entered into by young children who wished to go straight into the Medical Field.

Tsunade practically retired from active duty as she focused on her new school and her family and training, though she sometimes took missions alongside her teammates.

Orochimaru had delved deep into missions, with the faction he created in the Village finally growing a semblance of power as he grew closer to his dream position as he had gained the support of Hiruzen over time.

Hiruzen even began closely training Orochimaru further, with his goal being to aid him as his sensei in whatever his dream may be.

Danzo had finally been able to create the Root, much to the objection of the Council, though they placed heavy restrictions and sanctions on the new organization.

Though a key part that came from the deal was that while Danzo would be able to create the Root, Sakumo would head a new faction of the ANBU that dealt primarily with defending the best interest of the Leaf from foreign adversaries, while Jiraiya headed their information network.

The two groups would grow to oppose each other as Sakumo stood in Danzo's way when dealing with actions that could affect the Leaf negatively.

These were just some of the new actions that the blossoming generation of Konoha created and the great changes they made, making this world fully unique from the original.

And before anyone knew it, 5 years had passed.
