Chapter 55: Strongest Spear

When Tsunade woke up, she found herself in what seemed like a cave with a blanket over her body while bandages covered her chest.

She stood up and walked over to the entrance of the cave, where she saw her teammates and sensei sitting near a camp fire.

The three heard her steps and turned towards her, with them each showing a concerned look on their face.

Jiraiya was the first to speak as he ran up to her and hugged her before he spoke "Thank the Sage your okay Tsuna, I thought you weren't gonna wake up!"

"How long was I out?" Tsunade asked while scretching to get the stiffness out of her body.

"Around 3 hours. We were worried that you wouldn't wake up." Orochimaru said in a voice filled with worry.

"Well I'm fine now." Tsunade reassured him with a smile.

Hiruzen simply stared at her before he asked in a voice full of disbelief "Tsunade, was that Wood Style?"

Tsunade could understand his shock as anyone would be if they saw the legendary Wood Style again. It was the main attack method of the man known as the "God of Shinobi.", and with his death being fairly recent in memory, anyone would be surprised at seeing his granddaughter use it.

"Yes. Grandpa gave me an order not to tell anyone that I could use it until I became a jonin. I hope you can help me keep this secret." Tsunade said to the three.

"Of course, if it's Uncle Tobirama's order, then I won't tell anyone." Jiraiya quickly responded to which Hiruzen and Orochimaru nodded in agreement.

"The mission was upgraded to an A ranked one that is borderline S ranked due to its importance, so we'll recuperate for another 10 minutes before we rush back to the village." Hiruzen told them while looking at the moon sky.

Tsunade then sat and joined them at the camp fire while she fell into thought.

'It's good that I awakened my healing factor, but I would have been dead if I hadn't awakened it. It seems I need to focus on better ways to utilize my strength, as well as gain more combat experience. I also need to gain more practice in actively using my Fuinjutsu in battle.'

Tsunade felt that the battle against Issei was an eye opener, one that showed her just how weak she currently was, and how much further she would need to grow to protect the things she cared about.

She was broken out of her thoughts as she felt all her teammates staring at her, causing her to look up and see all three looking at her chest. She then looked down to see she had nothing on her top half other than the bandages on her body.

She immediately reddened in embarrassment and anger as she punched all three deep into the forest while she yelled "PERVERTS!!!"

After the three bowed and apologized enough for Tsunade to feel satisfied, the group finally left to head back to the village.

"What happened to the civilians that Jiraiya was supposed to be escorting to safety?" Tsunade asked as she remebered the people they saved.

"I took them to a village that was about 15 miles south from here. The person who led the village said he would take the people to one of the military posts for them to get more aid." Jiraiya answered.

The three then continued to head towards Konoha, though they were stopped when the all heard a whizzing sound in their ears, causing them all to jump from their location.

When they looked up, Hiruzen, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru became stunned, while Tsunade immediately paled as she recognized who the man who appeared was.

Coated in a layer of Lightning Chakra that seemed to be alive around his body, the man looked extremely large and imposing as he stared down the group of 4.

"So it was you 4 who killed those two huh. Well, I might as well eliminate a few geniuses of Konoha."

Tsunade silently prayed in her heart, as she had no idea how she was gonna survive a battle against the man who wielded the 'Strongest Shield' and the 'Strongest Spear', the future Third Raikage, A.
