Chapter 50: Bandits

Tsunade arrived at the village gate around 5 minutes after leaving the Senju Clan Compound.

She saw both Orochimaru and Jiraiya already at the gate with Hiruzen, with it seeming like they were waiting on her since Orochimaru already had his bag packed on his back.

Though, they didn't seem to notice her as she heard Jiraiya say "I told you it takes girls all day to prepare. That's why it is taking Tsunade so long to prepare."

Tsunade quickly grew a tick mark on her head as she quickly ran to Jiraiya and dropkicked him on his side.

"BASTARD!!" Tsunade yelled while Jiraiya flew through the gate and outside the village gates.

The guards looked up only to see an enranged Tsunade being held back by Hiruzen and Orochimaru while they tried to hold her back, causing them to slowly back away from the gate.

"Wait Tsunade, I know he's an idiot, but you can't kill him yet!" Orochimaru yelled.

"Exactly, you're a team, you shouldn't try to kill each other!" Hiruzen added, though he felt slightly confused by the yet in Orochimaru's sentence.

Tsunade finally calmed down as Jiraiya walked back to the team, though that didn't stop her from glaring at him as they set off.

"Have you finally fallen for my rugged charms. I knew you couldn't resist for long Tsunade." Jiraiya said causing Hiruzen to suppress his laughter while Tsunadebegan to grind her teeth.

Hiruzen finally put an end to the argument before it could start as he turned serious and said "Alright, that's enough. Now we have to a mission to go on, so act like shinobi."

The three nodded before they began jumping through the trees to get to the location of the bandit stronghold.

It took them around 8 hours before they could make it to the bandit stronghold, with the Sun already gone by the time they had arrived. They could have arrived at an earlier time, however they went slowly to preserve their strength.

The four arrived to see a horrific sight, one that nearly made both Jiraiya and Orochimaru vomit.

A large number of women and children were dragged from one part of the fort to another, with another part of the fort having a fire going that they threw the dead bodies into.

Tsunade nearly burst into anger upon seeing this. No matter how long she was in the Shinobi World, she was still originally from Earth. And very few countries in her previous world would condone or support this type of barbaric behavior.

"Calm down. I know that it's horrible, but we will eliminate the bandits and save the civilians." Hiruzen said while placing his hand on Tsunade's shoulder, to which she nodded.

Tsunade then took off her sandal before stopping onto the ground beneath them. She used the Seismic Sensing Technique to gain an accurate number of the bandits and the civilians.

Hiruzen looked confused at first, until Tsunade turned towards him and spoke "There are 33 bandits, with 21 of them not having their chakra unlocked and being the ones who guard the civilains, 10 of them having a small amount of chakra and them being the ones who are burning the dead bodies, and the final 2 having a decently large amount of chakra, with the two most likely being around jonin level. One stays inside the fort while the other is the one who the civilians are being sent to. The remaining 82 people are civilians and children."

Hiruzen eyes widened as he thought 'A sensing technique, and an extremely good one to work from this distance while also being this accurate.'

Hiruzen then gave them their orders as he first looked towards Jiraiya and spoke "Jiraiya, you're going to attack and incapacitate the 21 bandits that are guarding the civilians, after which, you'll have to take the civilains to safety."

He then looked towards Orochimaru and said "Orochimaru, you're going to eliminate the ones who are burning the civilian corpses. Make sure to take them all out."

Hiruzen then finally turned towards Tsunade as he said "And finally, Tsunade, your job will be to either eliminate or stall the one who the civilians are being sent to. I'm going to battle the one inside the fort. Does everyone understand?"

"Then let's begin." Hiruzen spoke as the entire group moved out.
