26 Chapter 26: Kid Sannin

"Why did you follow me?" Tsunade asked him. She had noticed that Orochimaru's parents were still alive when she was leaving the Academy, which she assumed was due to the fact that the war hasn't started due to Hashirama still being alive.

She hadn't planned on talking to Orochimaru due to the vast differences between his current self and his anime counterpart.

"I saw you punch that idiot after he said something, so I was simply curious about what you were going to do when you found him. However I didn't expect you to know how to use Medical Ninjutsu. Could you teach me?" Orochimaru finished with a question that left Tsunade stunned.

'I guess every Orochimaru has a love for ninjutsu, even the uncorrupted ones.'

"Sure I can teach you, but we'll have to work on your chakra control first as well as have you study the knowledge on medicine and anatomy." Tsunade replied, to which Orochimaru just nodded.

However there was someone who had a problem with Orochimaru's request.

'Did that girly looking bastard just try to steal my girlfriend? Who the hell does he think he is!!' Jiraiya thought to himself.

"If you're gonna teach him, teach me too Tsunade-hime." Jiraiya said while staring daggers into Orochimaru, who was paying no attention to the fool.

'I guess that's where the name came from.' Tsuande thought.

"Sure, why not. We can start right now if you want." Tsunade said, however she was thinking something entirely different.

'So I assembled the Sannin already huh, I guess it could be for the best. If I can stop Orochimaru's descent into madness and prevent Jiraiya from being obsessed with that prophecy, then the Leaf will be much more powerful in the future. Not to mention that since we're training earlier than canon, I can help them grow to their canon strengths even faster, and maybe even surpass them.'

"Well then, let's begin."

The trio then began training, with Tsunade first showing Orochimaru and Jiraiya the advanced chakra control techniques they would need since it would be a necessity even without Medical Ninjutsu. Since neither had the monstrous chakra reserves of Tsunade, they had to stop multiple times throughout the day, however Orochimaru was able to perfect tree walking and even begin learning water walking, while Jiraiya was close to mastering tree walking.

'One is a genius who was even a Hokage candidate, and the other was someone who simply lacked the guidance and theoretical knowledge. Maybe that's why Jiriaya was the bottom of the class in the canon, he simply lacked someone to guide him.'

Tsunade on the otherhand, began her Water Ninjutsu training since she planned on attempting to perfect it before moving on to the other Chakra Natures. Jiraiya had attempted to bother her about him wanting to learn it too, with even Orochimaru gaining a sparkle in his eyes when he saw it. However she was able to satisfy them by saying she'd teach them a C rank jutsu after they mastered water walking.

'So from my lessons with Grandpa Tobirama, I know that to use water release at its peak power and to truly master it, you need to be able to take the water vapor out of the air and use it in conjuction with the original method. I've been unable to truly learn the proper way to do it, but what if I try that method instead!' Tsunade said as she thought about a cartoon she watched in her past life.

Tsunade placed her hand onto one of the trees in the forest and watched as it began to shrivele up until it seemed to be drained of all the water in it. Tsuande wasted no time as she yelled

"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!!"

The water that spewed out of her mouth was much larger than her usual amount, and an extremely large dragon formed and destroyed a good portion of the forest.

Both Orochimaru and Jiraiya seemed shocked at the power she displayed, as they both thought the same thing 'Never piss off Tsunade!!'

The group of three continued their training, however Tsuande noticed the boys were much more respectful than they were originally.

As the sun began to set, they began to prepare to go home for the night.

"Thank you for practicing with me Tsunade-sama." Orochimaru said while sounding thankful.

"There is no need for that, we're friends aren't we?"'And I need to keep my eye on you to prevent you from becoming psychotic.' though the last part went unsaid.

Orochimaru seemed stunned by the sentence, after which he did a smile that was completely unique to this Orochimaru as it was full of innocence as he said "Yeah, friends."

Jiraiya butted in and said "Me too!!" to which both laughed as Orochimaru said "Yeah, you too idiot."

Orochimaru then said his goodbyes to go home for dinner so his mother wouldn't bother him, however when she turned to look at Jiraiya, she saw his face turn sad for a split second before he quickly covered it with a smile.

'It seems he really is alone.' Tsunade thought sadly before she asked Jiraiya "Do you have anything to do tonight?"

Jiraiya interpreted the sentence differently though 'Woah! Isn't she moving too fast?' He then asked Tsunade "Are you sure, I heard that you have to be an adult to do that kind of thing?" Jiraiya asked.

Tsunade simply punched him over the head and said "Come with me."

Tsunade then walked out of the forest with Jiraiya in tow, as they went through the compound.

They finally arrived at her house as Tsunade opened the door and said "I'm home and I brought a friend."
