207 Chapter 200: Battle of The Grass (I)

Inside of the sky, Dan's spirit floated through the air as he scouted the position of the approaching Iwa army, with him being their best form of detection against them.

Only a sensor on the level of Tsunade would have even been able to scout the Iwa Shinobi at a greater speed than he did, and that was simply due to the special technique that she possessed.

Just as Dan was about to return to his body, with him not detecting anyone, he saw the large group of Shinobi in the distance, and the one leading them basically made this the worst case scenario that they could have asked for.

At speeds that seemed similar to light, Dan quickly returned to his body, with him alerting everyone immediately.

"Did you see the approaching army?" Jiraiya question upon seeing Dan return.

"Yes. And it is the worst case scenario. Onoki is personally leading the army." Dan responded somberly.

"I see. If Onoki is leading the charge during the first battle, then it's likely that their goal is not a battle of attrition, but instead a plan to take us down in one fell swoop." Jiraiya though as he gained a determined expression on his face.

"Or it could even worse. Maybe, the goal of Iwa is to keep us fully occupied, with a full scale battle taking place on two or even all three fronts. And that's not forgetting the danger that Suna possess since we still don't know if they will be our ally or foe. Either way, start preparing our troops for battle. We will perform the same strategies that we planned in our earlier meetings." Kagami said as he stood, his Sharingan already activated as he prepared for the inevitable battle.

Everyone in the camp began to mobilize, with them all having a nervous expression as the forces spread out for the war.

Jiraiya then burst off at extreme speeds, with arriving in front of Onoki in a blink of an eye, yet neither man seemed shocked by Jiraiya's speeds.

However, Onoki saw Jiraiya's lack of Seals, with him assuming that Jiraiya wished to began the battle between the two in a contest of Taijutsu, something he didn't fear due to his ability to manipulate Gravity.

But, when Jiraiya held his palm out, Onoki was slightly confused until a ball of pure of Chakra emerged in his palm, with him slamming into Onoki's body, with the man in question being stunned by the attack.
