193 Chapter 187: Talks of Peace

Atop of Tsunade's hotel building, she sat and looked at the night sky, with the full moon shining brightly on her.

As she looked at it, she couldn't help but reminince on the her life inside of the Shinobi World, something that would have once been a dream, yet now was an actual reality.

From the horrors of being an infant and wishing to remain isolated in this new world and closing off her heart, to becoming the star in the lives of her family, to indirectly affecting the fate of the world with her decisions as she grew older.

Their were many times that she was forced to question herself, to ask if the changes she was making to the world would negatively change things, stopping the world from becoming peaceful, yet she still decided to abide by her original choice to live by her own decisions.

As she sat, she heard two sets off footsteps, with her glancing back to see her closest friends of this world coming and standing beside her, with the trio now all looking at the beautiful night sky in silence.

"Do you two think peace can ever come to this horrible world?" Jiraiya asked.

Even with all the changes in the world, his desire to bring his children up in a world without war was something that remained the same.

While he would do whatever was necessary to protect Konoha, he wished that he could find a pathway to peace, something to guide him in ending the chaos that started this world.

"I don't think true peace is possible, nor should it ever be achieved." Tsunade said after a minute, with both of her friends snapping their heads in her direction as if silently telling her to explain her words.

"While there could definitely be periods where no conflict happens, or even periods where we hold ourselves in a state of forced peace to prevent mutual destruction, but I don't think a period of absolutely no conflict will ever be possible. The best that could happen would be another figure like my Grandfather appearing and putting every nation on notice until their death, after which they may have been able to develop the next generation for the inevitable war.

But would true peace even be a good thing? A world where we hold no desire to improve, as it's been shown that warfare breeds innovation. Would a world like that even last? No. I believe that war, at least after long periods of time, becomes a necessity rather than a nuisance." Tsunade explained.

"If that is the case, then we shall merely have to become these symbols of this generation. Symbols that would strike fear into anyone who even dared to embark on the road of war. We've only been on this world for a mere quarter of a century, imagine what we could do in another decade." Orochimaru said, his eyes looking up as if he could already see them in the future.

"Honestly, I've never cared too much about the issues that are deeply ingrained in this world. Attempting to topple the system of the entire world is something only fools would embark on. But I truthfully only care about protecting those that I care about. As long as they are safe, I am content with the world. It's for that same reason that I could never wear the hat of the Hokage, I'm not willing to sacrifice everything. But if I were to lose everything, I could see myself making the world burn." Tsunade said before she said goodnight to her two friends.

"I guess I'm the only one of us willing to make the sacrifices that comes with the hat, huh?" Orochimaru muttered quietly with a smile before he also went to bed.

Jiraiya sat alone on the roof, still looking at the night sky.

"Who's peace should be more important?" Jiraiya asked himself, with the moon being the only one to accompany him into the loneliness of the night.

[AN: Novel Idea Chapter has been turned into it's own book called 'Naruto: True Darkness', with me likely updating it every week or two. It's really a comfort Novel, simply because my favorite character is Danzo while my best friend's is Hiruzen. I have a few more Novel Concepts, but only one will be fully written.

As for my existing books, 'My Hero Academia: The White Queen' is on Hiatus, simply because with all the craziness going on in the Manga, I rather wait till it wraps up (Whenever that happens) to return to it.

'Naruto: The Sorcerer Supreme' is a comfort book that I write which is pretty much just a plain overpowered Old Monster (I love that trope too much to stop), and I just write in it when new ideas come to mind, with me stuck on deciding how I want the story to go, especially since it won't be too long.'

'One Piece: Rules of Justice' is a book that I likely will put my full focus into once this wraps up, simply due to it being my favorite anime and wanting to really write that novel with detail.

But, overall, I appreciate all the support I've been given, and I hope that you can continue to follow me as I wrap this novel up over the next 30-70 chapters.]
