Chapter 167: Implications (I)

The Shinobi World as an entity was one that was currently facing a manmade crisis of unparalleled proportions.

While the issue was currently only prevalent in the Land of Fire, as the other nations secretly aided in the chaos, hoping to amplify the flames of crisis that would arise, they were unaware of the crises that were growing in their own home nations.

In the Kazekage's office, a man with deep colored hair sat in his robes while the Honored Elders stood across from him, with all three having solemn expressions on their faces.

"Are you sure this information is accurate? If it is, it would directly cause the collapse of our nation." The Third Kazekage said as he read the contents of the information once again, it still amazed him no matter how many times he read it.

"Yes. I've verified it repeatedly just to be sure, but I keep coming to the same conclusion. These new revolutionists plan to assassinate both the Daimyo and you, Lord Kazekage. How they are going to do it is currently unknown, but it can be presumed that they would rely on outside forces to do so." Ebizo said.

"This is outrageous!! If these plans were to come to fruition, we wouldn't even be capable of functioning as a country!! Are these rebels truly this foolish?" Chiyo yelled, her anger palpable as she was unable to understand the goals of the rebels.

"It does not matter what their goal is. We shall fully assist the Daimyo in taking them down, after which they will no longer be a threat to the stability of the Sand." The Third Kazekage said, his determination resolute.

He quickly drafted the papers to send to the Daimyo, after which he ordered for two guards to join him as he would deliver in person, hoping to both regain the favor of the Daimyo and emphasize the Village's support for his stance against the rebels.

'To think, someone is capable of manipulating the Shinobi World to this extent, I can only imagine how horrible the repercussions of these events will be. I expect that the next war may spark off in a few months rather than my original projected timeframe. But is we support the Daimyo in oppressing the people, we would be playing directly into their trap.' The Third Tsuchikage thought as he sat at his desk.

The Third Hokage, Hiruzen, who commands all Elemental Chakra Natures and has knowledge of nearly every single Jutsu that Konoha has to offer, as well as the mastery to combine them.

The Third Raikage, A, who possesses unparalleled speed, monstrous endurance, and physical strength, as well as a secret technique that makes many afraid to face him.

These three stand at the peak of shinobi currently, and every one of them could feel the tidal shift that was occurring in the Shinobi World.

But, back with Onoki, across from him stood Roshi and Han, both of the Jinichuriki of the Stone, as they tried to come up with a suitable solution to the present situation.

"Is there any way we can declare neutrality in this situation, keeping ourselves from making a direct choice but also contributing our support for the Daimyo?" Han asked.

"No. Even if we offer to protect the Daimyo, he could demand of us to aid them in dealing with the rebels. And this situation could backfire for us, especially if the next war breaks out. Imagine if our intel was given to our enemies in a bid to harm us and prevent us from winning, it would be disastrous." Roshi said, fully understanding the situation that they were in.

"It's fine, I have come up with a major reprieve for the situation. We shall simply wait." Onoki said, stunning them both.

"Are you sure that is the proper choice, Lord Tsuchikage?" Han asked, with Roshi also having a confused look on his face.

"Yes. Something big will happen in the Shinobi World before we can begin the action of battling the rebels. I'm sure of it. And when that time comes, be prepared, for
