157 Chapter 151: Politics

Time in Konoha is known at this point to move at a rapid pace, as the time flew like the leaves from the great tree of Konohagakure, with 3 months quickly passing.

Inside of the hospital, Tsunade sat at her desk, filling out the paperwork that had arrived that morning.

After a few reforms in the system and changes in its layout, Tsunade was able to turn the facility that many didn't pay much attention to into a key strength of Konoha, as the Village was ahead of nearly everywhere else in the world when it came to Medical Ninjutsu.

Add on the innovations that she saw the future versions of the Village use, and you get a Medical System that many consider fantasy due to the skill level of it.

Many powerful nobles and even Daimyos of smaller nations frequented the hospital for their checkups or surgeries, as they trusted the doctors of the building with their lives.

And if Tsunade was to be the one doing the surgery, they would nearly faint in joy as they knew that their lives would be safe.

On another note, the noble that she saved on her way to Roran turned out to be the son of the current Daimyo, with him convincing his father to grant Tsunade the title of "Princess" in the entirety of the Land of Fire.

This technically meant that Tsunade could even enter the race of succession for the position if her passed, though such things never interested her.

But the title made Tsunade as much as royalty as you could get, even without counting her terrifying lineage.

However, just as Tsunade finished the last document, she felt a familiar chakra signature enter into her office.

"Lord Hokage has summoned you to his office, Lady Tsunade." The masked man spoke with a monotonous voice.

Tsunade smiled as she answered back "I'll meet you there, Sakumo."

Tsunade could swear she saw the man's body twitch slightly before she took off in the direction of her teacher.

She arrived quickly, with her noticing three children in the office that each looked at her with curiosity.

One had eyes that were nearly blank, making her immediately guess that it was a Hyuga.

The next was a boy that had raven colored hair and eyes, with a unreadable yet seemingly arrogant expression upon his face.

'That has to be an Uchiha.' Tsunade thought, knowing that only they could look at someone with a casual expression yet still seem arrogant.

She then looked towards the final boy, with him appearance bearing a striking resemblance to her sensei.

After that, she turned her eyes to her teacher, him staring at her with a calm but serene smile upon his face in his robe, though she could see a slight flicker of amusement in his eyes.

'Wait. Three kids. Hokage's office. Only I'm here. THIS BASTARD IS TRYING TO MAKE ME TEACH THESE BRATS!!' Tsunade realized as she began to mobilize her chakra, ready to fight her way out of dealing with them.

"Hello Tsunade. I'm glad to see that your still in good health. At the last Council meeting, I couldn't help but notice that in your report you stated that the hospital was running smoothly and that with all the departments you created, you didn't even need to be their everyday to ensure it functioned smoothly. So, then I thought about how Jiraiya has been leading those children he brought back from the Land of Rain while Orochimaru is leading multiple divisions of the Anbu, and I quickly questioned 'Why doesn't Tsunade get more active?' It was afterwards that I decided that when this batch of children graduated, I would choose the three most excellent of them and place them under your care as an assault team, similar to how ours's was structured. So, what do you think?" Hiruzen finished with a devious smile on his face.

Hiruzen had known that Tsunade would loathe the idea, yet he remembered when the evil little reported his uses of the Crystal Ball Technique to Biwako, leaving him on the couch for weeks.

"And who are these kids I'm supposed to lead?" Tsunade said, resigning to her fate as she simply sighed.

"This is Fugaku Uchiha, Hiashi Hyuga, and my son, Shiminoske Sarutobi. They will make up the entirety of your team." Hiruzen answered, smiling at seeing Tsunade's despair.

However, Tsunade suddenly gained a sharp look in her eyes as she placed her demands, making his smile disappear.

"I need a month to train them into competent shinobi. After which we will go straight into C-Ranked missions, skipping the lower level since they'll grow comradery by surviving my training together. And I want all the debt I have to you, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya cleared. Is that fine. S-en-sei." Tsunade said, with her making the end of her sentence sound so evil that it sent chills down Hiruzen's spine.

"Y-yes, that's fine Tsuna." Hiruzen answered, simply wishing that this demonic student of his would simply get out of his office upon seeing his plan of watching her suffer not work.

"Thanks. C'mon brats. You three are about to go through Hell." Tsunade said as she led the three kids out the door.

Hiruzen simply gave them a look of pity.

'This is why Orochimaru is my favorite. He doesn't threaten me like those two do.' Hiruzen though as he turned to the window.

However, his gaze turned serious upon thinking of Orochimaru as he thought of the words that was shared by he and one of Hiruzen's old teammates at the last Council Meeting, one that Tsunade missed due to her son being slightly sick.

The impending chaos that would erupt in Konoha between the two main factions would be overwhelming.

The Hawks, led by Danzo while also including the other two Elders, and The Lotus, led by Orochimaru, Sakumo, and Shikai, were gradually heading towards a massive impasse.

And with Jiraiya focusing on training his students, he wasn't as major of a factor in the political warfare.

However, Tsunade, someone granted the title of 'Princess' by the Daimyo, having the backing of the two of the Four Great Clans and a former Hokage, the leader of the most financially beneficial part of the village, and strength that even he couldn't feel the depth of, would be detrimental to the power of Konoha.

Too much of one ideal would be horrible for Konoha, no matter how much he disagreed with one side or the other.

Therefore, with he and Kagami remaining neutral alongside the other Clans, keeping the balance, the Village stayed stable.

But with both sides growing tensions, he had to remove her from the playing field before either side could draw her to them.

He even guessed that she had already predicted his action, making him chuckle at how insightful his strongest student was.

'Even now, I bet she read me like a book. Either way, I must maintain order in this Village. Orochimaru will have to wait until he wears this robe if he wishes to bring his great changes. I can't let the Village lose any power to the chaos of politics right now.' Hiruzen thought as he looked at the Hokage mountain.
