Chapter 142: Fifth Hokage

After a week of traveling, Tsunade and the others arrived back in Konoha.

She immediately started giving out orders before she could even take on the position, with her telling the ANBU who appeared to take Orochimaru to the prison.

Tsunade was about to head to the office to finally begin reorganizing the Village, though she was interrupted by Naruto as he began to beg for both her and her younger self to heal his friends.

"PLEASE!! I'll owe you a favor!! Only you two can heal the Granny Tsunade, Auntie Tsunade!" Naruto pleaded.

Both Tsunade and the transformed Tsuna grew tick marks above their head due to the titles Naruto had given them, though they decided that healing the Shinobi could take precedence.

Tsuna looked forward to seeing Sasuke and the child of Sakumo, as she would enjoy seeing individuals she had read in manga in her past life.

She had been training Naruto and aiding him the best she could during the week's travel, with her even deciding to do something that would give Naruto a massive amount of aid in the future.

~Flashback~

"Focus your chakra directly over your skin, by doing this, you can imbue an element into it in the future and increase your body's physical parameters." Tsuna instructed Naruto, though the boy was unable to do it no matter how many times he tried.

Naruto began to grow frustrated as he vented them, though Tsuna seemed to be focusing on something else.

"I see." Tsuna said before she placed Naruto into a Genjutsu and headed into his mindscape.

Tsuna opened her eyes and found herself inside of what appeared to a sewage, with her seeing large cage-like bars that were closing something off.

Tsuna then saw a large red eye glaring at her, with the massive amount of power emanating from the being before her making her grow somewhat serious.

[YOU DARE COME HERE!! YOU SMELL JUST LIKE THAT RETCHED MAN!!] The Nine-Tailed Fox spoke, it now standing up as it looked down on Tsunade.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well. I'm here to tell you that there is an organization that is hunting the Tailed Beast, with its ultimate goal being the revival of the Ten Tails. You should know that I'm not lying, seeing that the 10 Tails is the conglomerate of the chakra of all the Tailed Beast. I'm telling you this because, in around two or three years, they will begin actively hunting you. Your best bet at survival currently is to work with this child, or at least don't hinder his training. I can't force you to be obedient to him, but I can assure you that this child, Naruto, who has seen the horrors of the world, definitely won't betray your trust. Even if you choose not to believe me, at least don't hinder his training so that he may protect himself." Tsuna said, staring directly into the eyes of the Nine Tails.

He knew the human in front of him had not lied, and her having knowledge of ancient topics was also a great question, but he decided he had nothing left to lose if nothing but a few more years.

The two stared at each other before the Fox snorted and laid down once more.

Tsuna smiled as she began to leave the mindscape, though not before a devilish idea erupted in her mind.

"Thank you, Kurama." Tsuna said with a smile as she faded away, leaving the stunned Fox in silence.

Tsuna appeared outside from Naruto, with having no memory of what had happened before, with her beginning to train him again, this time to far greater success as he easily picked up on what she taught.

By the time they arrived back at the Village, she was sure Naruto had mastered a few Wind Release Jutsu and could even use them in a battle, though she stated he would have to train the use of the element and recommended using a waterfall.

Tsuna, Shizune and Tsunade arrived at the hospital as they began healing all those injured from the Chunin Exams.

Tsuna had been given the identity of a new disciple of Tsuande to allow her access into the Hospital.

Tsuna had chosen to heal Rock Lee since she felt she would be able to heal him better than her future counterpart.

The two had discussed Medical Ninjutsu a few times and came to a conclusion.

When it came to regular Medical Ninjutsu, the older Tsunade was slightly better thanks to her vast experience.

However, in terms of detoxification and extensive medical surgeries, she deduced that she was better than the older her thanks to her mastery over Yin and Yang release as well as her slightly better scientific knowledge from her past life.

After a full day, everyone in the hospital had been healed to a tremendous degree, and were on the track to a full recovery, showcasing the medical skills that any Tsunade Senju possessed.

Tsunade finally was able to go to the Hokage's office and began to formally engage in her duties, with her finally bringing a semblance of peace and order to Konoha.

Tsuna, on the other hand, stood on the balcony of her room and at the boy dressed in orange who was lying asleep on her bed, with her wondering if this was how mothers who watched their children sleep felt.

She had invited him to sleep at her temporary home instead of his run-down apartment, choosing that it would be best for him.

She then thought about how she would eventually have to leave this world, and would no longer be able to return to see the young boy.

However, it was at that moment that an idea came to her.

She brought out the tools she had been using to study the Flying Raijin and began to pinpoint the location of this space, with it being slightly different from what it was when she was in her original timeline.

'This means it should be possible to travel across timelines, though it would take a considerable amount of chakra. I'll have to test it in the future.' Tsuna thought to herself, before she finally chose to rest and see what surprises this timeline would have for her.
