Chapter 140: Safe

Everyone looked on in both shock and confusion as they saw what could only be identified as a younger Tsunade walking toward Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Manda.

Orochimaru was also stunned by another revelation, as he realized that the woman in front of him had just used Wood Release, something that shouldn't be possible.

His mind raced with questions like "Why can she use Wood Release? Why does she look like a younger Tsunade? What is the white fire that is coating her hands? How do I escape from here?"

The last question was the most pressing at the time, with him getting a bad feeling from the young woman before him, especially the chilling grin on her face.

However, before he could continue his thoughts, the woman seemingly disappeared in front of him, with only his intuition telling him to dodge as he was able to slightly move to the side, letting him avoid a powerful punch to the side that instead hit Manda and sent his head straight into the ground.

Manda was knocked unconscious by the blow as Orochimaru and Kabuto turned in an attempt to flee, though they both were stopped, Kabuto by a blast of fire to his back, and Orochimaru by a powerful kick to his ribs.

Orochimaru stood while still struggling, him looking at the new woman as if she were a danger he knew that he couldn't face.

"Don't look at me like that Rochi, I haven't even gotten serious yet." Tsuna said as the white fire on her hand began forming an armor on her entire body that reminded Orochimaru of the Raikage.

Though he didn't remember the Raikage's armor possessing horns and wings made out of his element, so the differences were quite apparent.

He could not tell if the armor looked angelic or demonic, but if the sheer heat he was feeling from her was any indicator, he would have to lean toward the latter.

Also, the fact that she had called him Rochi made him feel slightly reminiscent, as if back when he was a Genin performing missions with Jiraiya and Tsunade.

So for someone who seemed to be the exact image of a younger Tsunade to call him that, made him slightly feel some of his old feelings stirring up.

However, he remembered his goals of learning all Ninjutsu and destroying Konoha for the future generations, so he suppressed those feelings.

"Who are you?" Orochimaru asked while still exercising immense caution.

"You should have already figured it out. But I'll tell you officially once I take you down." Tsuna said as she blitzed Orochimaru once again.

She delivered a staggering blow to the chest of Orochimaru, sending him flying into the air.

She then leaped above him and delivered a terrifying kick downwards, sending him straight into the ground with immense force.

Tsuna grabbed Orochimaru by the throat while she sent chains from her back to restrain Kabuto from escaping.

"Well, looks like it's time to finish this." Tsuna said, the seal finishing on Orochimaru's throat as he completely lost the ability to use his chakra while Tsuna dropped him to the ground.

Tsuna also applied the same seal to Kabuto, and the first thing she did upon finishing the battle was head toward Naruto.

Jiraiya was about to head between the two to protect Naruto, but Tsunade placed her hand on his shoulders and gave him a smile to indicate he could trust her.

Naruto flinched as the woman came close to him, guessing that he would see hate and anger in her eyes that all but a select few had come to view upon him.

He expected to be hit or beaten, after which he would showcase his will to become to Hokage no matter what the woman wanted.

However, the attack never came as the woman simply gave him a deep hug, one that gave Naruto the feeling of being held in a motherly embrace.

He could only guess this is what having a mother would feel like, making him relax in her embrace as he felt that for the first time, someone understood him past everything, making him feel something that no one had ever made him feel: safe.
