111 Chapter 107: Wrath of the Skies
The next few days were quite hectic for Tsunade's camp, with her having the entire camp on standby in case of any sudden attacks or if they were given the order to engage first.
The reinforcements she requested from the Village finally arrived, with Tsunade being given another 1500 troops as well as Team 10, which consisted of Inoka Yamanaka, Shikai Nara, and Choma Akimichi, as well as Team 8, made up of Shinku Yuhi, Hiruko, and Shiro Aburame.
Tsunade and Shikai spoke deeply about countermeasures and ways to defend against the sudden attack given by the other Villages, with Hiruzen stating that Konoha couldn't go on the offensive first, with that having the chance of changing the public perspective from a land just defending itself into a war waging nation.
During this time, they had been able to fully map out the surrounding area and set up both traps and a proper chain of command for the camp.
Tsunade also ensured the creation of a Medical Platoon, with it being a group of 4 Medics accompanied by multiple Jonin to help decrease the number of losses on the battlefield.
She would have liked to insert a Medical Ninja into every squad, but Hiruzen declined this proposal due to pressure from the Elders about not having the time to invest the resources into her idea.
This only made her angrier as she had proposed this multiple times before the war, yet she was constantly declined.
Though she knew that her being angry would not solve her problems, causing her to simply use the next best idea.
Only a few days after the arrival of reinforcements, a shinobi rushed into the camp in a hectic manner.
"Princess Tsunade, there are a vast amount of chakra signatures heading towards the camp." the man explained to Tsunade.
Tsunade immediately knew that this would signal the beginning of the war on her front, so she began to react in a quick manner and gave orders so that the chain of command would not collapse due to the distress of the Shinobi.
"All shinobi with combat capabilities, break out into your squads and proceed to utilize the battle tactics we practiced over the past few days. All Medical Ninjas remain in the back for support and rely on allies before going deeper in the battle if you wish to actively heal anyone."
Tsunade then took charge as she led from the front, with Orochimaru and Jiraiya not far from her.
The rest of her generation of shinobi spread themselves out so that they can make sure that no unforeseen situations arise.
Tsunade and her troops finally took sight of the enemy, with them being adorned with the headband of Sunagakure.
Tsunade wasted no time as she simply glanced at Orochimaru and Jiraiya before they each began to weave hand signs.
"Water Style: Water Colliding Wave!!"
"Wind Style: Pressure Damage!!"
"Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder!!"
"Compound Ninjutsu: Wrath of The Skies!!!"
The 3 Jutsu that they released combined into a near-terrifying attack, one that seems to be getting stronger as the three techniques gradually merged into one.
The overbearing technique hit directly in the center of the opposing army, with them either attempting to dodge it or counter it using Wind Style Jutsus, yet any Jutsus they used seemed to be swallowed up by the attack as it grew more powerful.
Their attack succeeded at completely destabilizing the structure of the battle as they then went straight after the Shinobi who seemed to be leaders of the Sand troops.
Their attack would later be remembered as the storm that sparked the beginning of the 2nd Great Shinobi World War.
