Chapter 100: Revelations

Tsunade felt immense happiness as she saw the genuine looks of pride and happiness on the face of both her friends and her family as they reacted to her win.

Tsunade felt the medal placed on her shoulders by the Examiner while Hiruzen flickered beside her.

Hirzuen gave her a small smile that seemed to have immense pride enveloped in it, though he once again turned to the audience and began to speak.

"Thank you to everyone who came out to watch the Chunin Exams. I know that many have had rough journeys and suffered from great things, but I'm glad to see that you all could come. From the Civilians, to the Merchants, to the Nobles, to even the esteemed Daimyos who are in attendance, thank you for supporting the next generation of shinobi."

His eyes then changed from the amicable side he showed the crowd, to one more similar to that of a leader of a village.

"And to all those who may be discouraged by not winning, do not be hurt, as simply because you lost will not affect your chances of becoming a Chunin. It will be up to your respective Kage to make these decisions, with this being based on your performance in the tournament. However, I know that the competitors wish to rest, so with that, I announce the end of the Chunin Exams!!"

After Hiruzen finished, everyone clapped and then began to leave as they wished to rest after the day's festivities.

Hiruzen glanced over at where the Kage were sitting and saw all were still waiting for the explanation he had promised earlier.

He simply sighed before he turned to Tsunade and said "Make sure to come by my office tomorrow morning Tsuna."

He then left, leaving Tsunade to leave and join her family as they began to have a party at her home to celebrate her accomplishment.

The day became night and the party went on as they all enjoyed themselves and talked about who may become a Chunin.

"I bet you I become a Chunin!!" Jiraiya said while arguing with Sakumo and Orochimaru on that fact.

"The world will tilt over the day you become a Chunin." Orochimaru said, causing everyone to laugh while Jiraiya drew circles in a corner.

Tsunade sat outside the house on a rock as she looked up at the full moon in the sky.

"What's the matter, Tsuna?"

Tsunade turned her head to see Mito looking at her with concern on her face.

"Nothing Grandma." Tsunade said while turning back to the moon.

"Don't think just because you've become a shinobi that you can lie to me." Mito said with a stern look on her face as she sat beside Tsunade.

Tsunade stayed silent for a moment before she asked Mito a question.

"Do you think they would be proud of me?"

"Of course they would!!" Mito responded without hesitation while immediately hugging her.

"Knowing Hashi, he would have jumped for joy upon you winning. He'd probably do something ridiculous like sell the deed to our house again, after which I'd beat him till he couldn't walk anymore." Mito said while they both chuckled simply at thinking of it.

"Tobi, on the other hand, would bring up a flaw you made to hide his pride, as he may have felt even happier for you than even Hashi did. The joy he would feel would be as if you were his own daughter. He'd most likely give you a Jutsu or something similar as a gift."

Tsunade and Mito fell into a moment of the two reminiscing about the past, with them not noticing that Ayako had joined them.

"Oh hey Mom, wassu-" Tsunade's words were cut off by the widening of her eyes.

She had begun using the seismic sensing technique in an almost fully passive state, and it gave her the ability to sense anything touching the ground around her.

Therefore, the tiny heartbeat she felt inside her Mother could only mean one thing.

Ayako gained tears of happiness in her eyes as she jumped towards the two and said softly

"I figured you two would notice, but yes

I'm pregnant."

In Hiruzen's office, Tsunade stood across from her master with a look of impatience greatly visible on her face.

She wished to stay beside her Mother for her entire pregnancy, and anything that would get in the way of that greatly annoyed her.

"I was told to give you this once you became a Chunin. Sensei placed a seal on it so that only you could open it." Hiruzen told her while Tsunade lost the impatient appearance and grew happy upon knowing that Tobirama left something for her.

She channeled her Chakra into the seal as it began to unravel. She had expected the scroll to be something like a jutsu, but she didn't expect a letter.

'If you are reading this message, then that means that I have either died or that I have inexplicably disappeared. I'm proud that you have become a Chunin Tsuna, and if you did it as soon as I think you did, then that's even more of an accomplishment. However, my reason for writing this letter was not simply to tell you this, but to give you some information. Before the Summit with the Raikage, I felt something was wrong. It was this that made me change the contents of this letter. If I have died and my body is in Konoha, then that means I did my job as Hokage and I have successfully ended the 1st Great Shinobi World War with my supposed 'Death'. However, my plan was never to die, only to disappear from the eyes of the world as I felt something was wrong with it. The night I told you all my goodbyes was because I didn't know if I would uncover what this unseen threat was, and I couldn't guarantee my safe return. Something is lurking in the background of the Shinobi World, and whatever it is has been a danger for a long time. Therefore, if my body is not in the Village, then that means I was attacked, and therefore successfully teleported myself to my sustenance tank, which can keep my body alive for at least 15 years. I built it in a secret lab I had in the Land of Grass. It will be up to you to find the location, as I don't trust my Fuinjutsu skills to place my location in the scroll. I don't know the means of the enemy or who the enemy is, therefore going to anyone with my plans was outside of the question. But I believe that you will be the one to stop this threat, and that you are capable of achieving this goal of finding me, Tsuna. Good luck, I believe in you.'

After finishing reading the note, it burned itself up, leaving a stunned Tsunade in the Hokage's Office.
