8 Join Obito, Itachi, Konoha higher-ups reaction
There, a vortex happened to emerge.

Chiba looked at Obito and nodded solemnly.
"But the higher-ups Konoha needs you to explain. If they do something to me, don't blame me for taking someone to kill them first!"
"Don't worry, the 3rd Hokage and Danzo know what to do!"
"I'll give you advance notice before the action."
Chiba nodded, and after talking with Obito about the details, he left.
Naturally, he would not trust Obito too much, and even thought he didn't like to admit it he was no match to Obito if his Mangekyo Ability was not taken into account and he still wont be able to kill Obito even with all of this since he doesn't have any strong jutsu's except for a few fire release and Genjutsu is something that probably wont work on Obito.
So, he went back to the police force and continued to pick up attributes.
After Chiba left, Obito pondered for a moment and disappeared.
He found Itachi and told him that Chiba had joined.
"Chiba actually has the Mangekyo Sharingan?"
Itachi was surprised, thinking that he had met Chiba some time ago, but he didn't notice it at all.
Itachi quickly calmed down, and a murderous intent flashed in his eyes.
