Joining Team Ro (2)

After a few moments Kenshin was fully recovered as he didn't used his chakra much and by the help of breathing technique, his muscle fatigue has recovered.

"Okay as Kenshin have rested enough, let's continue with the battle", said Anbu Commander. After that Kenshin and Tenzo went to the middle and waited for the battle to start.

As soon as the match started, Tenzo used Wood Dragon technique to attack Kenshin. Kenshin dodged to the signs and made hand signs for his verson of lightning chakra mode which is a rank lower than Raikage's technique.(Raikage's technique of chakra cloak is B rank jutsu).

Everybody was again surprised to see it. One of the Anbu said, "Is he a spy from Kumo"

"Idiot if he is a spy then why use it infront of others and that too infront of Anbu"

"Yeah that true"

The Anbu members began discussing about it.

"It is different from Kumo's technique as it's hand signs are different and it seems to be incomplete. It seems to be Kenshin's self made jutsu ", said Hiruzen who quickly analysed the jutsu. (As expected of Hiruzen The Professor).

Hearing this others were again surprised as a 7 year old making new jutsu's. They felt like they have wasted their lives.

Yeah Kenshin is using his own jutsu. The meaning of learning a large number of jutsu in last year was to understand how chakra gets converted into different affinity and use it to create new jutsu's based on his imagination and in the long run to understand chakra transformation.

Back to the battle between Kenshin and Tenzo. Just after Kenshin used Lightning cloak, his already fast speed increased. Kenshin rushed towards Tenzo.

Tenzo quickly made Wood Wall but that was cut down by Kenshin. Tenzo keep on producing wooden spike, rods and walls but they were cut down easily by Kenshin. But what Kenshin did not know was that a uncut wood branch was coming from behind him.

As soon as he sensed the attack from behind, Kenshin jumped on the air to dodged. In the air Kenshin was defenceless, so Tenzo quickly send large amount of Wood spikes to injure Kenshin. Kenshin knew that situation was grave and he cannot dodge most of the attacks, so he decided to attack the incoming strike instead of defending.

"Breath of the Sun: Seventh Form- Sunflower Lance", Kenshin shouted inwardly and send high speed sword strikes which look like lightning shower due to him using lightning cloak. The attack destroy evey attack coming towards him.

After that Kenshin rushed to fight with Tenzo who now has low chakra reserves. Kenshin didn't underestimated his enemy as even though Tenzo has low chakra reserves, he still is a Jonin with lot of experience under his belt.

Seeing Kenshin coming towards him, Tenzo took out some shurikens to attack Kenshin and took out his kunai to battle.

Kenshin also rushed at Tenzo and battled with him in close combats. Unlike the battle with Uzuki where both were fighting with only Kenjutsu, this battle was mixed of Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and Kenjutsu/kunai technique.

After some time, Kenshin was sent flying backwards by Tenzo's kick. So Kenshin took out some Shurikens from back and used Shurikens Shadow clone jutsu to bombard them towards Tenzo.

Tenzo quickly dodged and deflected most of them but was injured by some shurikens. Kenshin didn't let that chance go and threw some more shurikens and dashed towards Tenzo.

Tenzo who has very low chakra, physically exhausted and also injured by shurikens and Kenshin's attacks get defeated after some time.

This time others were not that as shocked as earlier because they were numb to shocks. But still the battle prowess shown by a 7 year old kid was commendable.

"Winner of the duel is Kenshin and You check Tenzo and heal him if possible" , said Anbu Commander pointing at an Anbu operative.

"Now rest for 15 minutes, then you will have battle with Itachi Uchiha", said Anbu Commander. [A/N- Itachi is not Kage level ninja as shown in Naruto series. He is at high Jonin level currently]

"Hahaha you even defeated Tenzo, a jonin. I am very surprised. I think I will promote you to chunin rank after you have completed your first mission", said Hiruzen while walking towards Kenshin who was restoring his energy.

"Thank you Hokage sama for your praise", said Kenshin with a smile.

"Oh so you can laugh. I thought you were some serious kind of kid like Itachi", said Hiruzen.

"I am not that serious person but I have to maintain a decorum in front of Hokage sama", said Kenshin to which Hiruzen just laughed.

While Kenshin was talking with Hiruzen, other members of Team Ro were discussing on how powerful Kenshin is and what will be the result with Itachi.

"He is very powerful but not capable to defeat Itachi"

"Yeah it's only 1 and half years since he joined but he has shown amazing power. Itachi is the 2nd strongest in out team"

" Yeah that's true but you have to agree the kid Kenshin has lot more potential"

"Yeah that's true. When we were of his age we just started to attend academy and he already fighting with Jonins".

"Okay resting time is up. Now the match between Kenshin and Itachi starts", said Anbu Commander.

After that Kenshin and Itachi went to the ground to start their battle.

"You have improved a lot Hayate Kenshin", said Itachi.

"Thank you Itachi San", said Kenshin.

"But I have to defeat you. Be ready Hayate Kenshin", said Itachi.

Just after Itachi said that, Kenshin started using advanced breathing technique to release from Genjutsu.(It is shown that using technique that increases blood flow of the body will release you from Genjutsu as chakra becomes slightly disturbed).

Just after activating his advanced breathing technique, Kenshin used hand seal to use lightning chakra cloak and started attacking Itachi.

Itachi also took out his sword and got into close combat battle. Kenshin was just activating advanced breathing technique in time intervals as you can never be too cautious while fighting with Itachi Uchiha who has already activated his Sharingan.

After that the battle started. After few moments Kenshin was on the loosing end as he it is not pure Kenjutsu and Itachi was using his Sharingan to dodge attacks and then use Taijutsu or Ninjutsu.

Kenshin was no match for Itachi in Taijutsu as he have stronger body as well as more chakra and more techniques. Also Itachi uses less and fast hand seals to cast the same jutsu, so Kenshin was clearly at disadvantage.

But still Kenshin continued on while narrowly dodging many attacks. Kenshin was seeing he was improving at a fast rate during this match. Not only him, Kakashi, Anbu Commander and Hokage also saw his improvement.

Kenshin didn't use Breath of the Sun using advanced breathing technique which would have been very powerful but he also knew Itachi hasn't used his full power yet. Like this after another 5 minutes, Kenshin was defeated.

Kenshin was panting heavily while Itachi has slight sweat on his forehead and slight breathing abnormality. Kenshin sighed seeing the difference in power.

"Winner of the duel is Uchiha Itachi. With this the event finishes. Kenshin quickly get your gear and start some basic formation training. After that you will receive your mission", said Anbu Commander.

"Yes Sir", replied Kenshin.

"Well done kiddo. Welcome to the team and I am Hatake Kakashi the captain of the team", said Kakashi.

"I am Tenzo and the next time I will win", said Tenzo.

"I am Yugao Uzuki and the next time I will also win", said Uzuki.

"Uchiha Itachi. Welcome to the team", said Itachi before leaving.

Like this everybody greeted Kenshin. After that they all went back to the base and Kenshin received his gears which consists of uniform, mask and a sword. After that Kenshin was told to rest for the day and from the next day, they will train in Formation and team battles.

Like this Kenshin officially joined Anbu and to Team Ro with many important characters of the future.
