50 Chapter 50: Masters

Yao sat inside of a large room, one with different seats sat around a room while she weaved her hands, the Time Gem on her neck shining as she spun in multiple directions.

She then stopped, with her floating onto the ground while letting out a small sigh, with her frustration being shown on her face.

'Of course, I am still unable to locate whatever Dimension Jigen is hiding in. Could he be hidden in the same dimension as that entity from earlier? My only guess is that it could perhaps be Shibai Otsutsuki, the rumored God of their race. But how could I reach him? And how exactly did he manage to become something greater than a Principality? It was only ever rumored inside of the tombs I read from Agamotto's knowledge, but he lacks the power to be a being like that. So, what is he?' Yao questioned to herself, yet at that moment, a Golden Symbol appeared in the air.

Emerging from it was the individual most likely to become the next Sorcerer Supreme and was viewed as the most powerful Master of The Mystic Arts when excluding Yao.

"Nabu! It's such a pleasure to see you." Yao said as she gave the man a hug.

"I would believe that if we were meeting in any other circumstances, but under the presence of a Convergence, I highly doubt that is the case." Nabu said as he sat in his seat.

He was currently one of the few Masters that had lived over half a millennium, with the only other examples being Hikari and her children.

Originally a man from the Land of Lightning, he discovered the Mystic Arts after the death of his daughter, with him originally wishing for a way to resurrect her.

Seeing his talent, Yao trained him as her disciple, with him absorbing knowledge like a sponge and having the greatest talent of magical aptitude that she had seen in years.

He became an unparalleled genius in the eyes of Kamar Taj, yet he eventually learned the spell that allowed him to summon his daughter's soul from the afterlife.

It was when he met her again that he learned that to give his daughter a mortal vessel, he would need to sacrifice a host of innocents to achieve his goal.

Not wishing to endanger the very principles he stood on and being talked out of it by his daughter, he used his Magical prowess to remove the very notion of his dangerous thoughts from his body, with the technique encroaching on the territory of Soul Magic.

It was after this that he awakened his True Magic of Order, with it allowing him to become steadfast in his beliefs and stand as a beacon of order.

But, his change didn't allow him to differentiate between good and bad, only chaos and order.

This led to him nearly destroying a dimension nearby due to them seeming to be embracing chaos, yet Yao 'persuaded' him to choose another path, leading to him creating his own Sanctum that stood on the principle of maintaining the Order of Society and preventing the normal world from learning of the Mystic World.

That was what his Sanctum held jurisdiction over, keeping the knowledge of Sorcerers and Magic as a whole, hidden.

But, Yao still looked at him as her current successor, though the man would likely refuse the position if he felt that a better candidate for it had arisen.

"I felt you visit Jashin's Realm. Did an issue arise there that made you call for the Convergence?" Nabu asked as his eyes shined behind his helmet.

"I'm sure that the lady will let us know. Why do old people like you wish to skip the fun parts?!" A blue haired boy interrupted as he floated into his seat, with him sticking his tongue out at Nabu.

"And how are you, Aladdin?' Yao asked while Nabu simply snorted and turned his head.

"I'm great Lady Yao!! I've finally figured out how to reverse Dimensional Corrosion and I think I'll be able to make it practical within the next few years!!" Aladdin yelled to her as Yao rubbed the boys head.

Aladdin was the last of an ancient Clan of Nature Energy users, with Yao speculating that he was from a similar Clan to Jugo's that were naturally attuned to Nature Energy.

This resulted in him aging far slower than others, with him being around 30 years old but only appearing 10, with also somehow slowing down his emotional development to that same age.

Upon becoming a Master of the Mystic Arts, the boy focused on the dream of being able to heal anything, making him the weakest Master in terms of combat prowess, yet the best in terms of support and healing.

That was why his branch focused on fixing Dimensional Corrosion and healing injured sorcerers from their wounds.

But, he and Nabu seemed to clash like fire and ice, giving Yao quite the headache when needing to separate the two.

"Enough. Show proper respect to the Sorcerer Supreme. She does not have time to deal with petty squabbles between you two." An old man said as he entered the room.

His appearance made him seem as if he was an experienced old man, one that possessed vast wisdom.

Aladdin merely stuck his tongue out at August while Nabu rolled his eyes.

"Welcome, August. I'm glad to see that you're still in good health." Yao spoke, with him returning a smile back to her.

August was a sorcerer who achieved his status purely off of hard work rather than talent, as he stood as the most knowledgeable Sorcerer excluding Yao, with that making him all the more dangerous.

His power over runes and mystical techniques was unparalleled, with him capable of taking down even the most dangerous threats simply by using the most basic techniques to their utmost extreme.

The man had even chosen to take on the position of having his Sanctum serve as the home of the Library of Alexandria, a place where Artifacts and Tomes of great power that were either created or found by the Sorcerer Supreme were taken.

"The pleasure is all mine, Lady Yao. Has that impudent daughter of mines arrived yet?" August asked as he sat and conjured himself some tea.

"I'm afraid that the three of us arrived together. Forgive us for being a bit late." Merlin spoke as entered the room, with her being followed by a black haired man and a smaller blue haired one.

Each of them represented the assault division Sanctums, with Satoru's serving to explore new Dimensions, Zeref's serving to attack those deemed hostile, and Merlin's to eliminate any major threats while researching new ways to combat them.

Merlin, the daughter of August, was a young girl who read an ancient spell that gave her the gift of never aging while also allowing her to place other objects in that same stagnant state.

Zeref, an ancient Black Sorcerer, was a man who mastered the darker aspects of magic yet chose to continue to fight for the protection of their world. His power was the most lethal, as darker spells tended to be far more dangerous for both the caster and the person it was used against.

Satoru, was originally a magical slime-like creature that gained sentience upon being exposed to a vast amount of mana, with Yao then naming him Satoru due to her feeling that the name fit (In actuality, it was because she felt Rimuru might actually exist in the Multiverse and she was a bit cautious towards using his name.)

The three were the of the same generation, making them all friends with one another as they learned and honed their magics together.

The door to the room then opened once again, with it revealing Yamamoto as he quickly motioned for each of them to be seated, with him tapping his cane onto the ground, making runes appear everywhere.

"The 22nd Convergence has now begun!!"
