2 Chapter 2: Powers

Catherine opened her eyes to see a bright yellow Sun, along with a bright blue sky and large white clouds. She saw a plethora of tall trees around her, making her guess that it was similar to a forest.

She was confused about the situation, with her having no idea where she currently was.

"Is this Heaven?" she asked as she finally felt her own body. While she still didn't have her hair, she felt completely healthy with no cancer ailing her and no stiffness in her body.

She then looked down and saw she was completely naked, which made her freak out and look around.

She looked beside herself to see multiple golden robes, a fancy-looking note, and a golden amulet laid out on the ground in front of her.

She first quickly put on one of the robes, after which she grabbed the note and began to read it in to hope to gain some clarification on her situation.

'Hello, my child. If you're reading this, it means that you have finally awoken in your new world. I say your new world because this is not the Earth that you grew up on. This is a different world that may be familiar to you by its other name, The Shinobi World.

It is a world in which fate has heavily dipped its hand in. And it is the one I have decided to send you too. While I don't do this often, since I usually only aid those who had experiences with those who made great contributions to the world, I saw your life and the perseverance that you showed. I decided that you deserved to be rewarded for the life that you lived. And by doing this, I have given you three gifts.

The first is a library where you will be able to recall the knowledge of the person I've chosen as well as other magical books. You can access it through meditation since it resides inside your mindscape. The person whose knowledge you can access may be known to you as the Agamotto. I decided to give you the knowledge of his 616 Universe counterpart. This will give you access to books like The Book of Vishanti and The Darkhold.

However, this does not mean you are innately overpowered nor are you invincible. Instead, I have simply given you the tools that you can use to grow yourself and your strength to a sufficient level.

The second gift that you will receive will be a soul-bound variation of the Time Stone. However, unlike the Time Stone that you are familiar with, this Time Stone is not bound to any universe and will therefore be unable to manipulate Time on a grand scale from the start. The most you will be able to do from the start is slightly see the future. You will have to broaden your understanding of Time and the laws in which it functions if you wish for it to reach the power of its counterparts or even surpass it.

However, your Time Stone will have the benefit of not being restricted to a single universe as it will be able to function as long as you are capable of functioning. The stronger you are, the stronger your Time Stone will be.

The final gift is the amulet in which the Time Stone resides, The Eye of Agamotto. While its uses may dim if you are able to grow your knowledge to a high enough extent, it will remain a powerful artifact that could be called one of the most powerful in your current world. I give you this gift not because you are special or because I made an accident, but because I admire your will and perseverance.

Also, don't intervene in fate too much unless you grow your power to a sufficient level, lest you risk facing a backlash. I'm not giving you any mission or anything you must do, instead, enjoy this new life of yours. Live well my child.'

When she finished reading the note Catherine stood in absolute shock.
