Where it all started

Mizuna, Hiyori and Kimi arrived at the entrance of Konohagakure

What Mizuna saw surprised him greatly. It isn't a beautiful sight where shinobi are talking to each other while laughing, no children are running around while playing, and there are also no food carts where the villages indulge in the delicacy offered by Konohagakure

Instead what he saw was the tense expression of the Konohagakure ninja, wearing their metallic headbands, iron plate, baggy pants, kunai leg holder and backpack leg pocket.

The ninjas seemed to be sensing the impending war brewing on the horizon

Mizuna, Hiyori and Kimi continued to walk inside the village. Hiyori seemed to know where she was going while Mizuna and Kimi silently followed her while looking around the surrounding

Mizuna noticed the incoming patrol composed of 5 shinobi talking to each other with devastated looks on their faces

"We lost 1 entire patrol unit last night near our border with the Hidden Waterfalls village that's the 3rd this month alone, a total of 15 Uchiha died from patrolling missions," the man said with his fists tightly clenched and with eyes glowing blood red

"Do you think Lord Madara is right?, that the Senju are trying to weaken us?" the man beside him said while looking at the man

Suddenly a third man covered his comrade's mouth "Shsss keep your mouth shut, do you want us to be branded as traitors like Lord Madara? Even his corse was experimented on by lord 2nd after losing the battle against lord 1st"

Hiyori and Kimi suddenly froze and stopped walking to look towards the 5 patrol man

Kimi then ran towards them and grabbed the patrolman who was just talking and asked him "What did you say? Lord Madara is dead?" with her eyes glowing red

Mizuna looked at his mother

'It's about the time my mother and Kimi find out what happened, as for me, well I'm a Naruto fan so I already know what happened to him'

'but seeing the village, the villagers, and this Uchiha clan members feel different. It feels like even though the Uchiha is one of the strongest clans, they also seem to be outcasts and are nothing more than guards and scouts'

"He-hey calm down you're choking him, we are all on the same side," a 4th Uchiha said while tapping Kimi's arms. She released him not long after

The Uchiha kimi was chocking coughed after being released

The 4th Uchiha then said "Well it happened almost a decade ago Lord Madara left the village and started attacking us, most Uchiha elders told the Uchiha clan members to not do anything so we did not take sides" The 4th Uchiha looked down and continued

"A few months after the continued sneak attacks Elder Kaito Uchiha and his branch started supporting the Senju and the Konohagakure ninja, they baited Lord Madara and cornered him and the nine tales he was controlling at the now known as the Valley of the End." the forth Uchiha's eyes started to look teary he the continued

"All the Uchiha under Elder Kaito a total of 120 and Konohagakure shinobis hold the nine-tails. The Senju clan members including Lord Hashirama and Lord Tobirama fought Lord Madara until Lord Madara was pierced by a kunai on His back by Lord Hashirama, Lord Madara died not long after and lord Tobirama brought his body back to the village. Rumours says that he's been experimenting on it until now" The 4th Uchiha said with tears in his eyes

Mizuna, Hiyori, and Kimi all just stared at the 4th Uchiha after he finished his story. Hizashi then suddenly fainted. Mizuna quickly catches her and carries her in his arms.

'sigh, it's way darker than what I knew from the anime, is this the original story and the anime adaptation was tweaked a little for the younger viewers?'

'Madara was killed a decade ago because he wanted to unify the shinobi world and prevent future wars, the very same war that's looming on the horizon right now'

'Was Madara wrong to do the preemptive strike against the other villages? Konohagakure was in the possession of all the 9 tailed beasts at that time. If only the Senju clan agreed to his proposal to subdue them starting with the Village hidden by rocks, they might have succeeded in unifying the shinobi world under Konohagakure by now and have successfully prevented the death of millions

'But what do I know? I am only a fan of Naruto. At least that's who I was, but this is my world now, a world that I will change.'

Suddenly "Where did you come from, how can you not know all of that? And what happened to her?" The 5th Uchiha who's been silently observing the group asked them with narrowed

"Forgive us for overstepping, my mother is from the Hyuga main branch and has been sent away by my grandmother to live in a village near the land of whirlpools, we only returned now she must be worried about the safety of her parents that's why she fainted," Mizuna said while slightly bowing

The 5 Uchiha looked at each other and nodded. They then said their farewell and started to walk forward to continue doing their duty

Mizuna then looked at Kimi while carrying Hiyori and asked "What do we do now?"

"Let's rent an inn first and wait for Mistress Hiyori to regain her consciousness," Kimi said then she started walking with a sad expression.

Not long after, the group arrived at a two-story inn made of wood. Mizuna sat on a wooden chair and closed his eyes while waiting for her mother to regain her consciousness when suddenly he heard something

*Ding! *

Mizuna opens his eyes only to see Kimi sleeping beside her mother, he looks around and suddenly a red screen blocks his view.

'Is it the system again? Is God talking to me' is what he thought then he tried touching it, but his hands went through it.

He then read the text written on it
