[ Eiji Kanzaki ]

The sun shined brightly enveloping the streets of Konoha marking the morning. The streets were filled with the voices of citizens, birds were chirping adding the beauty to nature.

Meanwhile in Konoha Ninja Academy

In the classroom, the young aspiring ninja were gossiping among themselves about their life activities.

In a certain corner of the classroom

???: Are you even listening to me ?

He turned his head to the owner of the voice.

Eiji: Oh, hello there. How can I help you?

In front of him was none other than main character of anime Naruto, Naruto.

Naruto: A-ah, Here.

Eiji: A free coupon of Ichiraku Ramen shop?

Eiji was surprised to see the coupon. Since he collected pretty enough to eat free for whole month.

Naruto: Yeah, you lend me money few weeks back. So I thought to give it to you.

Naruto said while scratching his head with smile on his face.

Eiji: Is that so, then thanks for the coupon.

Looking at the expression of

Naruto, Eiji estimated that Naruto still wants the coupon despite giving it to him.

'I wouldn't be able to eat in peace after seeing his expression. I already have enough of those.'

Eiji: Actually I have bad stomach these days, so it's kind of useless to me. I wish to give it to someone else but it would be rude to do that. So here take it back.

Naruto: Really!

Eiji: Hmm

Naruto: I mean really? Then I will take this one and treat you next time, when you get well. Believe it. Hehe

Eiji: Sure next time.

He then handed the coupon back to Naruto who was back to his usual attitude.

Naruto: By the way why you always sit at the last bench with no one.

Naruto was confused since no one was around Eiji's desk.

Eiji: Well both sensei and view outside appear in perfect frame.

Eiji decided to give him convincing reason. The main reason was that last seat hides his presence perfectly. That helps in long ninja history lessons to get a good sleep within.

Naruto: What about friends? Don't you have any?

Naruto looked at Eiji with curious expression while waiting for his response.

Eiji: Well I don't have in the classroom, but outside the academy.

Naruto: Outside?

Eiji: Yeah, I will introduce them to you if you want to.

Naruto: That would be cool. By the way, I am Naruto Uzumaki. What about you?

Naruto introduced himself in cheerful manner & waited for his response.

Eiji: I am Eiji Kanzaki. It's nice to meet you.

Eiji introduced himself in polite manner to the introduction of Naruto.

Naruto: I will introduce you to my friends, wait a s-

Before he could finish his sentence, the loud voice of door bashing rang inside the room. Revealing the site of two young girls who were arguing with each other.

???: I am going to sit beside Sasuke, not you Ino pig.

???: Dream on, I will be the one to sit beside him, Big forehead.

???: I will be the one.

???: No I will be the one.

The new individuals who garnered the attention of the class, no only boys since girls were busy fawning over Sasuke. They were none other than Ino and Sakura.

Seeing Sakura, Naruto left Eiji and moved towards Sakura to get her attention. Seeing this whole scenario, Eiji sighed since he was tired of seeing same scene regularly.

Eiji decided to not dwell on their interaction and started to get his attention back to his book.

[ Eiji's Pov ]

It's been few weeks since I got reincarnated in this world. I've no idea how i got here, but only knew this much that I ran over by truck while saving a little girl.

That's all...

In my previous life, I was a student. I wasn't that good in interacting with my classmates. I was more inclined towards elder fellows since they talked sense a lot.

I just wish to live this life perfectly. No edge lord image chasing or 'I'm gonna be next Hokage'. What I really want is adventure and strength to protect myself & loved ones.

I believe this is too clićhe of a introduction, but I believe I've seen worse than this.

Hah, cool breezes blowing in the face in morning. The perfect spot.

Eiji decided to read the book and waited for the class to start.

Meanwhile with Naruto

Naruto: Hey Shikamaru

Naruto poked the head of black haired boy who was resting his head on the table.

Shikamaru peeked from the space between his folded arms. He met with the sight of Naruto showing goofy smile.

Shikamaru: What a drag. Naruto what's the matter, Is Iruka sensei on the way to classroom.

Naruto: Not yet, but at any moment.

Shikamaru just grumbled at his response and decided to wake up finally. With folded arms on desk and resting his chin, he looked at him with lazy gaze.

Shikamaru: So why did you wake me up?

Naruto: Do you know about Eiji?

Shikamaru: Never heard of him.

Shikamaru replied in flat tone and looked at Choji for any answers, but only got head shake in denial.

Naruto: See the guy over there.

Naruto pointed his finger at the back of classroom where Eiji was seated.

Moving his gaze to the back, Shikamaru met with the sight of young boy who was calmly reading the book. In the next moment, a surprise expression appeared on his face.

Shikamaru: No way, he is in the same class as me.

Shikamaru's response was laced up with surprise. Seeing his expression, Naruto just scratched his head in confusion.

Naruto: So you do know him.

Shikamaru: He came to my place many times to play Shogi. But I think his name was Kanzaki something.

Shikamaru replied with his usual laid back tone.

Naruto: Yeah his name is Eiji Kanzaki.

Shikamaru: He plays shogi quite well but not enough to beat me.

There was no ego in his statement as if he was stating the fact.

Naruto: Yeah! I also want to tell you about coup-

Before he could finish his statement a loud voice gathered the attention of the classroom.

"What do you mean by Sasuke Uchiha is not attracted to girls?"
