43 Chapter 43 : Shikamaru's Plan 3

Sasuke saw this with a little confusion before he got it, " You plan this, you expected where he goona appear ?" 

"Yup," Shikamaru just agreed, knowing fully well that those explosions were not even close to putting Orochimaru down, but he wasn't done with just those explosions. 

Soon the explosion stopped, and there lies a batered body of Orochimaru. Both Sasuke and Shikamaru saw this with full attention.

"Is... Is he dead ?" Sasuke asked with suspicion on his face, he fought with Orochimaru, in his mind, there was no way that Orochimaru would die this easily, right?

Shikamaru though, was still calm. Fully knowing that there is no way that someone like Orochimaru will die like this. Especially Orochimaru. 

After all, Orochimaru might be even harder to kill than Kayuga herself. This damn snake is the closes person to immortal in this world. 

Soon something strange happened, Orochimaru totally burned charcoal body twitch and the mouth opened up. Before that,, it was even hard to understand where the head was.

And then Orochimaru spit out something. Like a Snake shedding its skin. Sasuke eyes widened when another Orochimaru stood up, totally unharmed.

"You predicted that, all of this was a plan. Wasn't it Nara Kun?" Orochimaru asked with much anger and amusement.

"Yes," Shikamaru replied still totally unhinged.

"Good, Good. You have shown Nara Kun that you are worthy after all to give you a curse seal," Uncle Orochi said with his trade mark laughter.

"Thank you, you are also quite something yourself. Makes me feel that it was worth going through all that trouble and planning thousands of steps ahead after all." Shikamaru replied and before Orochimaru could ask what Shikamaru was talking about. 

He senses once again, the same kind of chakra he sensed a few minutes ago. But this time around, he didn't have time to dodge. 

Boom.

Another round of explosions started, again engulfing Orochimaru. Making Sasuke standing beside Shikamaru snap his head towards him with a much more shocked look.

"You... You, How did you plan this ?," Sasuke immediately understood what happened. Shikamaru came at last not becuase he was late or didn't want to fight, but rather was cooking up this plan, a trap, an ambush. 

"Nothing much. I have been learning Fuinjutsu for the last few months. Everyday training consists of making at least 20 to 30 explosion tags. 

Got a few thousand lying around so there you go. Just enough for the show for the time being," Shikamaru smirked a little and waited. 

He wasn't just calm because his trap was sure to hold back Orochimaru for long enough but also because he got information from his shadow clones. 

Soon the explosion died down and Orochimaru once again came out.

"You damn brat, how did you do that," Orochimaru shouted but then he felt a similar feeling of explosion. He was already very alert and jumped out from where he was standing. 

boom.

A single explosion happened where Orochimaru was standing earlier. Both Uncle Orochi and Sasuke were expecting a series of explosions again but it was just one single, very weak explosion. 

"How I do it you ask? Simple. I just guess all of your moves and put the explosion trap there," Shikamaru said with a shrug like he was talking about going to Picnic.

"Like how I knew that after feeling the chakra of the explosion tag for the third time, you will immediately jump away from there," before even Shikamaru's word fell. Another explosion took place where Orochimaru was standing.

Now officially Sasuke was gobsmacked. "Did you really predict all of his movements? Where is gonna stand and where is he gonna go? How is he gonna act ?" Sasuke asked with a trembling voice. 

Shikamaru didn't reply, he just kept on looking where at the explosions with a smile.

After another series of explosions ended, Once again Orochimaru shed his skin and came out alive like it was nothing, but Shikamaru knew better. 

No Jutsu is invincible, No matter how powerful, Orochimaru is just a mortal. He too has his limits. 

The first thing Orochimaru did before even opening his mouth was to jump out from where he was. 

Using shun shin he immediately made distance from where he was standing. 

He used shun shin three times to get away, and the movement he landed after the three shun shin. 

Before he landed, he could feel it, it was like time stopped, there was it again, the same chakra of explosion tag where he was just about to land. His eyes widen. Before looking at the ground which was about to explode again as once again Shikamaru hid explosion tags there, he looked at Shikamaru. And saw a nasty smirk on his face. 

Suddenly there was a feeling inside him, that he all this time was getting played in the hand of the Nara boy in front of him. For the first time in the fight, he felt that there is a possibility that he could lose.

Sasuke kept on staring at what was happening, and just couldn't understand. There is no way that Shikamaru can predict Orochimaru's moves so far. 

Only if he can see the future, then maybe but that...

Shikamaru saw what Sasuke was thinking. Smile again and said.

"Don't think too much about it, we have enough time to get something to eat and and get out of here before Uncle Orochi comes after us, if he is in the condition to move by then that is," Shikamaru winked as Sasuke, later just could widen his eyes.

"But again I don't think we need to run either," Shikamaru slowly muttered but Sasuke heard it right.

For another 10 minutes, Orochimaru got trapped in thousands and thousands of explosion tags. They were no normal tags either, they were much more powerful than any after-market tags.

Sasuke honestly was terrified by this time, not by the killer's intent Orochimaru was emitting but rather by the condition he was in. Sweat was covering his body. He lost almost all of his chakra. 

And the person responsible for this was none other than one lazy Nara standing beside him. He really calculated every move of Orochimaru to the point that even after Orochimaru did something he usually wouldn't do, like not jumping out to another position than he could have, he met with Explosion.

He tried not to move, but he met with an explosion. He tried to summon Snake... nothing happened until he met with an explosion.

Terrifying, that was the only thing he could say. 

Orochimaru's thoughts weren't that far off actually. Now he just wanted to kill off Shikamaru. His presence just threatens his future plans. 

But he was afraid to move, hell he was even afraid to stay where he was standing. Who knows if there are more explosion tags hidden by this kid?

It was kind of a deadlock situation. Only Shikamaru knew that there were no tags hidden anymore. 

He is even surprised that all of his calculations work out, it is like all of his blind shots hit the jackpot. Only now does he realize just how scary Shikamaru could have been in anime if only he was really motivated to do something. 

His mind is insane. There really is nothing more rare and dangerous than a Motivated Nara.

"Forget Uncle Orochi, this fight is over," Shikamaru said. Sasuke didn't understand what he meant but Orochimaru did.

The next second, Many of the Jonin surrounded the place.

Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai, Anko, Guy. They all were there. Thanks to Shikamaru's clone. They all came in time. 

And above anything, Orochimaru is almost out of chakra. Even he after shedding his skin so many times, has to be running low.

Now even running away from this place is hard for him.
