Prologue

One could see an average-looking man who appeared to be in his early 20s, with short natural blonde hair and brown eyes, walking through the park on his way home after being rejected for a job by another company.

"Why am I so unlucky?" he complained in his mind with a very stressed face as he stopped before a zebra crossing, ready to cross the road once the traffic light turned green.

It was the fourth time this month that he had been rejected. You could say his life was pretty messed up; his father had lost all of their family's wealth in gambling, which forced him to drop out of university, and now he couldn't even find a job.

But then, suddenly, he saw a little girl running across the road with a truck coming towards her, most likely to hit and kill her.

"Shit!"

He ran to save the girl and managed to push her out of the way, saving her life, but he was hit by the truck and died.

Now, many of you might be thinking that he is the protagonist of the story... But no! He's not the protagonist, just an extra.

Our real protagonist is the handsome man who appears to be in his 20s, standing on the other side of the road with his long black hair and brown eyes.

"He made it in time," thought the handsome man standing on the other side of the road. He appeared to be in his 20s, with long black hair and brown eyes, but his face remained indifferent.

He had watched everything unfold and might have saved the girl, but he had a "not my circus, not my monkey" attitude. Knowing he wouldn't have made it in time, he didn't even try to save her.

"How naive," the handsome man thought as he saw the average-looking man who had died, now surrounded by a group of people calling for an ambulance.

To him, it was hard to believe that people would endanger their lives for strangers. As long as something didn't concern or benefit him in any way, he preferred to stay out of it.

"Whatever," he whispered, starting to cross the road without a care in the world. Today was a very special day for him; he was joining a political party.

To be exact, he was a very ambitious person. He had first engaged in various businesses to make money, then started a company to earn enough to make connections with politicians. Eventually, he began funding the mafia, turning them into his puppets.

Now, his plan was to fully control the political party he was joining. Despite looking like he was in his early 20s, he was much older, maintaining his youth with expensive surgeries and striving to make himself the perfect human in terms of looks and body.

Suddenly, he saw another truck speeding towards him. It was so fast that he couldn't even react before being sent flying.

"Fucking truc-" These were his last words before he crashed, hitting his head on the road and dying instantly.

"It... feels warm," thought the handsome man who had just been hit by a truck. The sensation was surprisingly pleasant as his eyes remained closed, seeing only pure darkness. "But what is this metallic smell?" he wondered. The metallic smell grew stronger and stronger, causing him to open his eyes with a gasp.

Gasp.

As soon as he opened his eyes, all he could see was pure chaos. Dead bodies were everywhere—some decapitated, some chopped into multiple pieces, and some killed by bones piercing their hearts.

The man, now fully covered in blood and lying on the ground, was wearing clothes similar to those of ancient shinobis. Although his clothes were originally white, there was hardly any white left; everything was drenched in blood.

However, there weren't many injuries on his body, indicating that the blood covering him wasn't his own.

Soon, he felt a slight discomfort in his mind as a flood of memories surged into his consciousness. Though it wasn't painful, it was slightly annoying and uncomfortable. The discomfort lasted for only about three minutes before it subsided.

"What a weird time to remember a past life," Asura sighed as he stood up from the ground.

To put it simply, he had reincarnated around 17 years ago after being hit by a truck in his past life, and he only now remembered his past life memories after nearly dying.

You might have already guessed: his name in this life is Asura Namikaze, from the Namikaze clan, one of the powerful factions on the islands in the eastern part of the shinobi mainland.

Because of this, almost all of the clans and tribes on the islands united to fight against the Kaguya clan. Now, don't think that asura and namikaze clan are good guys here, this guys are just straight out cunning and wanted to use the war against kaguya clan to take control of nearby clans and factions,

But their plan was leaked and almost an entire army of namikaze clan was destroyed by kaguya clan's ambush.

Because asura was the son of the clan leader and also one of the commanders of the army, so he had to fight off an entire army from kaguya clan.

Even though he exhausted his chakra and almost died.

''Oh... You are finally awake!'' Suddenly asura heard a very pleasant voice before a very beautiful woman with long brown hair and brown eyes wearing ancient roman clothes appeared infront of him.

''The heir of Rome'' The woman whispered in asura's ears.
