Resuming

Early morning next day, at Naruto's hotel room.

"So what happened between you two?" Jiraiya asked Naruto and Satsuki while crossing his arms and having a knowing smirk on his face.

"Nothing to be concerned about!" Naruto replied immediately while Satsuki looked away, hiding her face which was as red as a tomato.

"Really now? Then explain why I you two were in the same room until I found you? Ain't no way Naruto, did you actually—

"No, no we did not have sex! If that was what you were trying to say." Naruto quickly shouted with a big blush on his face. Jiraiya chuckled.

"You know me so well, my student. Well, I would've known if you did anyway, that shit smells after all." Jiraiya replied as he entered the room. He looked around and raised an eyebrow. There was no futon on the floor.

"You didn't have sex, but you did sleep together. You two have to be bolder than this." Jiraiya mumbled while palming his face. Naruto narrowed his eyes and glared at Jiraiya.

"Yeah? I heard from gramps that you watched my mom and dad have sex so that you could gather 'research' for your book!!" Naruto declared, making Satsuki grit her teeth tightly and activate her Sharingan.

"Woah there Naruto! I did not do that!! I'm not stupid or suicidal enough to do something like watching your parents do that! If I did I would be dead by now!" Jiraiya argued back.

" At least you know where to draw the line." The blonde chunin grumbled. Jiraiya snorted and shook his head.

"Work smart not hard, kid." Jiraiya replied.

"Lee and Guy sensei can argue with that." Naruto mumbled.

"Is this really Jiraiya of the Sannin? He's really creepy." Satsuki whispered.

"Appearances can be deceiving." Naruto whispered back. Jiraiya sighed as he walked out of the room.

"Alright, are you guys all good physically? We're about to continue the mission." Jiraiya asked as he gained a nod from Naruto. He then looked at Satsuki who shrugged.

" It doesn't hurt as much as before. Naruto's pretty good at bandaging people up." Satsuki replied while Naruto grinned sheepishly.

"I learned that stuff from Sakura-chan." Naruto added. Jiraiya patted his back and leaned into his ear.

"So uh, did you see her naked?" Jiraiya asked. Naruto groaned and walked away from him.

" I ain't saying shit." Naruto grumbled. Satsuki looked back at him while she followed Naruto

" I heard that by the way. Ask that again and I'll burn your balls with Amaterasu." Satsuki threatened while staring into his soul with her Sharingan activated. Jiraiya gulped and started sweating profusely.

'Geez! Is having scary wives generational in the family?! Minato had Kushina who's scarier than hell, and now this kid has that Uchiha who's on her way to being the same as her!' Jiraiya thought while he nervously walked towards them.

"So what's your teammate like, sensei? I know she's the greatest healer, has super strength and all that, but I don't know anything else other than that. " Naruto asked Jiraiya as they checked out of the hotel.

" Tsunade. To sum her up in one word, fiery. That woman has one of the largest tempers I have ever seen. That, combined with her super strength makes her a dangerous woman." Jiraiya reached into his vest and fished out some pictures before handing them to Naruto.

Naruto and Satsuki looked at it before their eyes widened. "This is Tsunade?! From what, forty years ago or something?!" Naruto asked him while Jiraiya smirked at the blonde's words.

"That may be an old picture but I can guarantee she will be looking somewhere around that age. Tsunade has always been a vain person."

"When she got older she cast a permanent genjutsu on her that allows her to change her age at will. From what one of my informants told me, she usually sticks between the ages of twenty-one and twenty-eight." Jiraiya explained. Satsuki hummed.

"Aside from that, anything else we should know before we continue? " Satsuki asked him. Jiraiya hummed as he rubbed his chin.

" Well there is one more thing that I suppose is important, In certain circles she has the very well-earned nickname of 'The Legendary Sucker'." Jiraiya explained. Satsuki blinked while Naruto coughed awkwardly.

"The Legendary Sucker huh.... Wonder what it feels like to have a 50+ year old granny suck the soul out of you?" Naruto joked. Satsuki wasn't amused by it.

" Sorry Satsuki, couldn't resist." Naruto whispered to her. Satsuki rolled her eyes and crossed her arms in response. Jiraiya chuckled at Naruto's words.

"Her nickname doesn't mean something like that *though I wish it did* I was actually talking about her terrible luck at gambling." Jiraiya corrected him.

" Gambling? "

" Yep. Tsunade's always had a huge addiction to gambling, and she's always been absolutely terrible at it. She is well known in every gambling parlor within the Land Of Fire as the Legendary Sucker because she has never won a single bet."

"I swear, you Sannin and your addictions..." Naruto grumbled.

" You know, I bet most of the ninja that respect you guys just don't know the truth about you. Seriously, one is into peeking in the bath houses, one's a chronic gambler who's earned a title for being so shit at it, and the last is a dead snake who likes to play with little boys."

Satsuki covered her mouth and snickered a little at Naruto's words. Naruto smiled as he glanced at her cheerful expression. Jiraiya's right eye twitched in annoyance.

"Hey! We're still some of the most powerful ninja in the world!" Naruto grinned at Jiraiya.

" I didn't say you weren't. I just think you guys have more issues than the dude who invented glitter cannons, which is me by the way. " Naruto replied.

Jiraiya sighed as he started grumbling about what did he do to deserve a disciple like Naruto. The Shinobi trio continued walking down the dirt path for a while longer without speaking.

"Hey kid, you wanna learn a new Jutsu?" Jiraiya suddenly asked Naruto. Naruto blinked before he looked at Jiraiya.

" Yeah. Why would I pass up on that?" Naruto replied.

"Alright then, I'll need to get some materials in the next town to teach it to you, so we'll do it then ok? " Jiraiya asked him. Naruto grinned and grabbed Satsuki's hand. Satsuki blushed vividly at his sudden actions.

"H-hey!"

" Alright!! C'mon Satsuki! Let's get to the next city pronto!!" Naruto shouted as he and Satsuki ran away together hand in hand. Jiraiya palmed his face.

"Hey you two!!! Come back here!! That's the wrong way!!"

When the Shinobi trio came upon the next town, they saw a festival taking place there. Having never actually been to a festival before, Naruto was looking around at all the stalls that sold food, and had games of all kinds to play in awe.

"Hey Satsuki. I know we just had a date yesterday, but can we go on another one right now?" Naruto asked her. Satsuki blushed.

" Idiot, don't say it out loud. He's right beside us remember? " Satsuki whispered. Jiraiya looked away and smirked before he looked back at the two.

"Well you two, why don't we take a break for a moment? It's good to rest after a long day of traveling and it's not like we're going to run into Tsunade today. You two go have fun. See ya! And remember, don't do anything stupid!" Jiraiya waved at them before he quickly walked away from them, leaving the two alone with each other.

Naruto sighed and smiled. He looked at Satsuki and grinned. "Looks like we're alone again. C'mon, let's go have some fun like we did yesterday." Naruto muttered before he intertwined his hand with Satsuki's. Satsuki blushed, still not used to the intimate gesture.

"I've never been to a festival before." Naruto said as they started walking. Satsuki looked at him, her interest gained.

"The one festival Konoha has is the festival celebrating Kyuubi's defeat." Naruto explained, making Satsuki sigh and shake her head.

"Let's stop with the depressing shit. Let's go play some games, your choice." Naruto suggested. Satsuki blinked and looked around the place. She never went to festivals again since her clan was massacred, so this was also a new experience for her.

"How about that one?"

"That one it is, let's go!"

They utterly dominated them with their ninja talents. They would sample some of the food they had and just generally have a good time.

Since they had never done anything like spending time at a festival before, they made sure to milk it for all it was worth before they got bored.

"Would you look at the time Satsuki, I think it's almost midnight. Most of the stalls are close too." Naruto mumbled before looking at her. He smiled and squeezed her hand gently.

" Let's go find sensei wnd get ourselves checked into an inn."

" Hn. "

It did not take long to find the white haired Sannin. All he had to do was follow the man's rather distinctive laugh. They weren't surprised to find the man in a nearby tavern, with a lot of alcohol and several women in lingerie hanging off of him.

The drunk Sannin noticed the blonde and the raven haired Uchiha and waved at them. "Oi you two!!! Get over here and relax! Allow me to introduce you to these two lovely ladies!"

"Hell no, leave him. Let's get out of here. " Satsuki immediately replied before she dragged Naruto out of the tavern. Naruto created a Shadow Clone to stay back at the tavern so that it could drag Jiraiya out of there when the Sannin would black out from the alcohol.

It did not take too long, as a few minutes later Naruto noticed that the Shadow Clone he created was dragging an unconscious Jiraiya through the streets. He raised an eyebrow as he saw that his clone had several lipstick marks on his cheek and neck.

Jiraiya got back up as if he had not just managed to drink seventeen bottles of sake. He grinned broadly at Naruto and Satsuki.

"Alright, let's go find an inn."
