70 Godfather
Shikamaru was feeding a group of ducks with small pieces of bread while he was sitting at the edge of a pond.
On the ground beside him was a notebook and a black pen. Shikamaru was forming his training plan for the month while also planning who will be in the task force that he and Naruto will lead when the invasion of Konoha starts.
'My main weakness right now is taijutsu and how lazy I am. I'm working on the lazy part and the taijutsu thing is coming along really well. I just need a technique that can defeat that Temari girl without wasting too much of my time.' He thought while gently petting the head of one of the ducks.
A deer slowly approached him. Shikamaru glanced at it before going back to his own thoughts.
He knew that the clan's jutsu were easily dispelled with enough light so he was trying to find away to make them solid, almost like manifesting them into a tangible form, one that he could use with or without the light.
In addition, he was trying to find a way to combine his fire and earth releases with his clan's shadow jutsu.
Creating a new Jutsu was harder than he expected. It's also harder tham the author expected it to be.

"What do you mean I'm not gonna be training with Kakashi sensei for the whole month?!" Naruto asked Hiruzen while he was in the old Hokage's office.
"That exact what I meant, Naruto. Kakashi will be training Satsuki while Sakura will be training with Kurenai. I have found you a sensei that is leagues better than Kakashi is. " Hiruzen explained. Naruto crossed his arms.
" Well I don't wanna! I work with Kakashi sensei the best, he knows my abilities and my weaknesses so I think he's the perfect one to help me! " Naruto argued, making Hiruzen raise a brow at him.
" Don't you want to be trained by your godfather, Naruto? " Hiruzen asked, making Naruto freeze and look at him in shock.
" My what?! " Naruto shouted. Hiruzen nodded.
"Your godfather, Naruto. He's somewhere near the hot springs, you should be able to find him easily."

" What the fuck.... Ain't no way that's my godfather." Naruto grumbled while he was watching something peeping on the women's section of the hot springs with a telescope in hand.
That person was Jiraiya and he was giggling like a pervert as he zoomed in on a woman's D-cup boobs. "Perfect! Look at the size of those babies!" He muttered to himself while he was nosebleeding.
Naruto gritted his teeth, getting tired of his supposed godfather's antics already. This was the man who was going to be training with him for a month? This was the man whose going to make him stronger? He would rather be training with the Konohamaru Ninja Squad than with this guy.
Naruto was a pervert because he is a mega fan of the Icha Icha series, that he won't deny. But he knew how to control his perverted thoughts and would never go as far as to peep on women so he could get a boner.
Jiraiya hummed as he heard something flying towards him. He turned his head and widened his eyes as a tri-pronged kunai flew towards him.
Suddenly, Naruto appeared behind the flying kunai and grabbed it. He swiped the kunai at Jiraiya who jumped away just in time to avoid getting his eyes blinded by the swipe.
Jiraiya looked at who it was and widened his eyes even more. It was his godson Naruto. He then looked at the tri-pronged kunai and grimaced, old memories he would rather not remember flooding back to his head.
"Why the long face?" Naruto asked with a evil smirk on his face.
"It's because you got in the way of my research, brat! I'm a writer you see, and I'm working on a novel! This!! " Jiraiya grinned as he pulled out an Icha Icha novel. Naruto widened his eyes and looked at the face of the man he attacked.
"Wait! You're Jiraiya right!?" Naruto pointed at him. Jiraiya grinned broadly and struck a Kabuki Pose.
"That's right! I'm Jiraiya!! Mount Myoboku's Holy Toad Sage!! Remember it!!" Jiraiya introduced himself dramatically.
"There's no way you're my godfather! I don't want a godfather who peeps on girls!" Naruto shouted angrily and grabbed Jiraiya by his shirt collar.
"And I don't want a godfather who abandoned his godson when he clearly needed a parental figure! You didn't even bother to visit me, your godson once in twelve fucking years! All you gave me was this!" Naruto shouted as he took out his froggy wallet, Gama-chan. Jiraiya looked at Naruto with guilt in his eyes. The truth hurts a lot.
Naruto gritted his teeth as his eyes became slitted and crimson red. "Don't give me that look, pervy sage! Tell me why I shouldn't cut you out of my life completely?!"
"Because.... because I have a spy network that runs throughout the Five Great Shinobi Countries. This is the exact reason why I couldn't take you with me even though I've begged sensei thousands of times. It's too dangerous."
" And what did you find out with this spy network huh?! " Naruto asked while putting his hands on his waist.
"I found out that Orochimaru created Otogakure. I found out about the invasion and I also found out about a group he joined before he created the village." Jiraiya suddenly pulled into an alleyway. While he was being dragged, Naruto looked at Jiraiya who suddenly replaced his guilty expression to a serious one.
Whatever Jiraiya was about to say to Naruto, it was very important. Jiraiya put a silencing seal on the wall and activated it so that no one could listen to what they were talking about.
" This group Orochimaru was previously in was called the Akatsuki, a mercenary group consisted of ten S-rank rogue ninja that existed outside the usual system of hidden villages. "
" The hidden villages increasingly hired the group to fight in wars and perform assassinations that the villages themselves were unwilling to get involved in during times of peace. The Third Tsuchikage, Onoki is a frequent employee of the Akatsuki. "
"They seem like a harmless mercenary group whose goal is to offset costs to make countries increasingly dependent on Akatsuki's services, corner the entire market for shinobi missions, and eventually put all of the shinobi villages out of business because they can't compete with Akatsuki's prices. But that's just what they do on the surface."
" Their true plan is to gather all of the Nine Tailed Beast in the world. " Jiraiya revealed, shocking Naruto to the core. So many dangerous people he didn't even know were out to get him as they speak?
"I found out about most of the members of the Akatsuki. There's the Clan Killer Itachi Uchiha, The Immortal Butcher Hidan from Yugakure, Kakuzu from Takigakure, the Tailed Beast without a Tail, Kisame HoshigakI also known as the Monster of the Hidden Mist. "
" Kisame wields Samehada, a sentient mystical sword utilised by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and is regarded as the most terrifying out of all the Seven Swordsmen's blades. "
" Next is Sasori of the Red Sand from Sunagakure's Puppet Brigade. During the Third Shinobi World War, the effectiveness of his puppets in spilling his enemies' blood on the sand gave rise to his moniker. "

Jiraiya looked dowm at him for godson who was absolutely shocked at the information he just received. And the worst part is that Jiraiya has only listed 6 members of the group.
He knelt down in front of him and put his hand on his shoulder. He looked at Naruto's eyes with a serious expression.
"Don't worry, Naruto. You'll be fine with me here. I'm gonna train you after all. It is my responsibility as your godfather to ensure that you're able to handle yourself out there." Jiraiya grinned at him.
" So what do you say? You wanna start training right now? " Jiraiya asked him. Naruto nodded.
" Yeah! Where do we start?" The blonde asked.
" Let's get you start by signing a summoning contract. " Jiraiya said before he explained to Naruto about the Summoning Jutsu.
The Summoning Jutsu allows the user to transport a target, most frequently an animal to their location.
Before an animal can be summoned, a prospective summoner must first form a contract with the animal and/or its species. In the case of the toads which was the contract Jiraiya was going to have Naruto sign, the contract is a scroll that the summoner signs their name to using their own blood and further marks with the fingerprints of one of their hands.
To actually summon an animal, users apply some of their blood to the hand they signed the contract with. Usually they bite one of their fingers to accomplish this, but blood from injuries elsewhere on their body can also be used.
They press the hands' five fingers down and channel chakra to the hand, summoning the animal to that location. While usually pressing them at the ground, it is also possible to do so on no surface at all, such as midair.
The amount of chakra gathered in the hand determines the size and number of animals that are summoned: if too little chakra is offered, only a small, young animal will be summoned; by offering large amounts of chakra, multiple adult animals can be summoned simultaneously.
"So what next?" Naruto asked Jiraiya after he signed the contract. Jiraiya rolled up the large scroll.
"Let's go to somewhere else to practice it."
