Double Trouble

With Kurama's chakra receding back into his seal, Naruto stared at the large plume of smoke that enveloped every corner of the whole street they were currently fighting in. He knew that the two were alive because he saw Kisame's Samehada moving in before the explosion occurred.

The smoke slowly cleared. When it did, it revealed Samehada laying idly on the sandy road. Naruto quickly slipped into his fighting stance once it started spasming uncontrollably.

It opened it's large mouth and spat out Itachi and Kisame. Kisame opened his palm and Samehada quickly crawled towards him. Kisame grabbed it's handle and stood up with Itachi.

The blonde widened his eyes as Kisame charged towards him. He was fast, too fast for the blonde to see. Naruto was just barely able to jump away, jumping back and to the left so he could keep out of Kisame's range. Not that it did much good, as the shark man was already coming after him.

Naruto ducked under a horizontal swing, rolled backwards when the giant bandaged sword smashed into the ground, and then sidestepped the next attack.

Kisame was fast, too fast for a man his size. It took a bit, but Naruto was able to get used to at least some of the man's speed with chakra enhancing his eyes and feet.

Yeah he was much faster than Naruto was, but he was not as fast as Jiraiya, or Lee had been when opening the gates.

Naruto knew that Kisame was holding back due to understanding the blonde's skills, giving him a small advantage. And also, the shark man's opponent despite being a Chunin was a lot better than most people ever gave him credit for.

Also, Naruto was a well-known prankster that had, in many cases, been able to outsmart entire legions of Anbu in his youth when playing a prank.

All of these factors combined gave Naruto an advantage. When Kisame made his next swing, he jumped over the sword, using it as a small springboard for him to launch a chakra enhanced kick at Kisame's head.

*BANG!!!*

Kisame's head snapped back from the kick. Unfortunately for Naruto, that only seemed to enrage the shark man, and the next swing that came the blonde's way was too fast for him to dodge.

*BOOM!!!!*

Naruto grunted in pain and spat out blood as he got smacked right in the chest by Samehada. He felt several ribs break as he was sent flying back. The blond crashed into a wall, cratering it.

He fell out of the crater in the wall and landed on the ground. He slowly got up, ignoring the strange feeling in his body as his ribs healed with Kurama's chakra.

"That hurts..." He mumbled as he rubbed his bruised chest.

"You must have an incredible pain tolerance withstand a smack from Samehada. Your kick's weak as shit though." Kisame commented before looking at Itachi.

"Oi Itachi! I thought we were told that he's just a recently promoted Chunin!" Kisame shouted as Naruto laughed.

" Ha! Your intel agent sucks balls if that's what he only got from me!" Naruto shouted.

" You do seem to be more skilled than we originally thought. However even with your recent increase in skill it will not.... " Itachi trailed off before he turned around to at somebody.

"Satsuki...." He whispered. Naruto looked over towards where Itachi was looking and saw Uchiha Satsuki standing a few meters away from him.

Satsuki narrowed her Two Tomoe Sharingan at her older brother. "Itachi. You have told me to live a life of hatred in order to get strong enough to kill you. I have hated you, despised you, cursed you. I have waited for this day to come, the day I kill you!"

The raven haired Uchiha began weaving a set of hand seals at blinding speeds while staring into Itachi's soul.

"But that doesn't mean I used it to get stronger." She whispered as there was a loud chirping sound that occurred a second after she finished her sentence.

She then ran at her older brother, letting the Chidori trail across the ground, ripping it up like paper. As she got closer to Itachi, Satsuki thrust out her hand, hoping to impale her brother.

It did not happen. With but a simple movement of his hand, Itachi caught Satsuki's wrist and threw her arm to the left, letting the Chidori hit the ground and dissipate.

Itachi looked at his little sister with cold disinterested eyes, "You don't interest me right now." Itachi then kicked his little sister away, letting her crash into a wall across the street.

"Now that she is out of the way I will ask again, come with us, Uzumaki Naruto." Itachi said as he turned to Naruto.

" NO!" The three ninja turned to see Satsuki glaring at Itachi.

"I'm not…I'm not done yet!" She muttered as Naruto growled at his friend's determination. She was not giving up on the wrong thing. He was just about to move in when Kisame seemed to sense his intentions.

"Uh uh kid. Let's let them settle this little family matter." Kisame gave Naruto a shark like grin. Naruto glared at him.

"There's no way I'm letting my friend get herself killed! " Naruto shouted as he charged at Kisame. He slashed diagonally with the tri-pronged kunai in his hand. It did not do much, as Kisame was able to block the attack rather easily with his sentient sword.

Naruto sejt his other tri-pronged kunai at Kisame in a thrusting motion, aiming for the man's face. Once again Kisame raised his blade and blocked the attack. However it was in that moment that Kisame had made one error.

Naruto had been continuously making his attacks at a higher altitude each time he struck, forcing Kisame to do the same to compensate.

It did not make the man raise his arm much, given the difference in height between the two. But it was more than enough for Naruto to have reached under Kisame's arm, bringing his other hand up and slip an explosive tag onto the man's wrist.

Naruto jumped back as a bit of Kurama's red chakra covered his body. He infused the explosive tag with the Kyuubi's chakra he leaked out.

"Boom!"

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!*

Itachi watched as Satsuki charged towards him again. It was pitiful, Satsuki was attacking an opponent with strength so superior to her own it was extremely laughable. Not that it meant Itachi was going to show his younger sister any mercy.

As soon as Satsuki came in range, Itachi lashed out, smashing his fist into the younger girl's chin. She flew into the air as Itachi grabbed her arm and pulled her in, kneeing her gut.

Not even giving his younger sister a chance to spit out blood, the clan slayer spun around, launching a kick into Satsuki's face, breaking her nose and sending her crashing into another wall.

She hit the wall hard, coughing up blood as she began to fall to the ground. However, before she could get close to the ground, Itachi appeared beside her, smashing her back into the wall and leaning in close while choking her.

"You are still too weak, Satsuki. You are too weak to avenge our clan, and do you know why?" Itachi asked, making Satsuki freeze.

" It's because you lack hatred. You still don't have enough. Perhaps I should help your hatred grow, by showing just why you should hate me in the first place." Itachi looked at Satsuki as his left eye transformed into the Mangekyo Sharingan.

"Tsukuyomi."

"You damn brat!!! That really fucking stings!!!" Kisame shouted angrily as the smoke from the explosion cleared, revealing the man to be covered in burns from the explosion. His robes were destroyed from the devastating explosion, revealing his bare chest.

"You should just consider yourself lucky that sushi is supposed to be served raw! Otherwise I would have made you extra crispy!" Naruto shot back mercilessly.

Before Kisame could even consider attacking the insolent little blonde, a shrill agonizing scream from the other side of the street tore their attention away from their own battle.

Both Naruto and Kisame watched as Itachi moved back from Satsuki, who slumped to the ground with a dead look in her Sharingan.

Kisame grinned as he turned back to look at Naruto. "Man that's harsh Itachi, using that jutsu on family! And now that Itachi's bratty sister has been taken care of, it's time I deal with you! "

Naruto narrowed his eyes as he entered his fighting stance, remembering about the information of the capabilities of the blade he got from Hiruzen.

'Samehada gains nourishment from the chakra of others. The blade is at its happiest when engorged with chakra that possesses both a distinctive and pleasant flavour meaning that it definitely craves mine and Kurama's chakra.' He thought as Kisame appeared in front of him, swinging his blade overhead.

Naruto suddenly dropped a smoke bomb, enveloping the area with thick grey smoke. Kisame narrowed his eyes and paused his attack before he looked around his surroundings.

"Tch, what the hell are you planning brat?"

Itachi looked down at his defeated sister with an uncaring expression on his face. "Hmm..." He turned around and walked away from her.

"Where the hell do you think you're going, Itachi?!"

"Impossible...." He whispered and turned around to see Satsuki slowly getting up. Satsuki grunted and held her head a little, the effects of the Tsukuyomi was still present, the only thing keeping her going was her indomitable will and her determination to avenge her clan.

" I'm not going down until you go down six feet under, Itachi." Satsuki muttered seriously as she rubbed her eyes.

"I have to thank you though Itachi...." She added, making Itachi narrow his eyes at her. Satsuki moved her hands away and looked at him.

Itachi widened his eyes at what he was seeing. His little sister's Sharingan had fully matured to the Three Tomoe Sharingan.

Satsuki entered her fighting stance. "Thank you for letting me relive that moment Itachi, you added fuel to my flame!! "
