7 A WITHERING FLOWER

I have finally made it to the gate after running none stop for the past 10 minutes, once making it to the gate I give the guards an explanation on what I was doing out of the village and how I met this girl that I am carrying on my back. Soon after they allowed me to take here to the medical ward where I have been staying for the past 2 hours waiting to see the girl has any lasting injuries that I couldn't heal.

Shoosh " Nox Kuto I'm chunin Araki and I have been ordered by lord third to bring you to him at once" he said in a serious tone.

"No, I will not be leaving until I know that the girl will be fine so unless lord third comes here, I am not moving an inch I say while subconsciously releasing some of my killing intent.

The chunin steps back for a moment and coughs before leaving and saying" I will relay tis message back to the hokage since I can't force you to come" shoo, he then vanishes before my eyes.

But not even a minute later I see the hokage into the medical room through one of the doors with two other shinobi which I can only assume are his public guards that he assigned for public appearances.

He then soon reaches before me and sits down next to me while waving his hand towards the two guards and then they both vanish with the wind.

"Now that I am here now young Nox I would advise you to tell me about the truth on what happened with that girl and how you managed to leave the village while the gate was under guard" he said in a serious manner leaving the fun and happy tone that he used earlier , so now he had taken on the hokage persona.

I then began to explain all that transpired from my reason to leaving and to how along the way for finding a hunting ground I found the girl and help treat her kunai wounds protruding from here back and then I rapped her up with bandages and brought her here.

"Mm I can see why you would want to leave the village to test your abilities, but you should have come to talk to me since I could have gotten you some accommodation due to your stellar skill. But what's done is done and I can only accept this matter, but I am still proud that you took the initiative to help someone in need".

The hokage places his has on my shoulder trying to comfort me, his support for my action. Then he soon releases his hand and begins to walk away.

"But wait lord third what will happen to the girl since she has no place to go, nor does she have any money to sustain herself I proclaim".

"Once healed she will have some questions asked of her then once her answers can be confirmed she will either have to leave the village or gain temporary residence".

'Damn I was sure that they would just sign her off as a civilian getting attack by bandits, but I guess not. I need to fix this situation since its obvious she's from the chinoike clan and with Danzo around having a non-Konoha girl with no attachments would be a gold mine to turn into a mindless killing machine loyal to him alone'.

"My lord if I may I have a better idea since I was the one that saved her life so she is now my responsibility and now I should be the one that cares for her. And I know that I may be young, but you know I am fare ahead in the maturity level for my age and I will soon be entering the academy and will be given a residence that she can live in for the time being"!

"So, if it may not be to much can I have my residence given to me early and that the girl live with me and if not have housing in the same apartment complex".

{POV OF 3rd Hokage }

'I can't stop seeing young Nox as my second chance for the failings of itachi but still he does seem capable enough to live by himself, but he cannot possibly care for another life when he can no employment. I would be putting to much hope in him like I did for poor itachi which crushed him to choose between his family or his village. I won't allow another seedling to have to deal with such hardship, but I still must ask why.

"Young Nox I must ask why… why do you try strive to do so much more than you are asked for? You have already done more than enough by giving aid to this girl and bringing her here to be cared for so why young Nox"?

{POV Nox }

I could only walk towards the operation window and peer through to the she the girl, which is named Aiya chinoike by Cortana, I then clench my fist then slowly whisper." Because she looks like her.

'Old memories begin to flood into my mind as I think of my life before being transported to this cruel and heartless world.

{ Setting Earth }

'I remember it like it was yesterday me running driving rom school to the hospital and getting to hold my new baby sister Lilly named after the flower du to her being born with strange pale color hair. After her birth, my life changed since I had to help care for her since at the time my parents had just finalized the divorce and were fighting a war in court trying to see who would have custody over my new sister.

'But after that period of my life everything was smooth sailing due to my parents just settling with having joint custody while my mother gaining the weekdays while my father had to deal with only having the weekends due to her status as an infant. But since I already had to see both of my parents of the same days, I spent most of my time playing and caring for her. Then years went on as she grew, she became my little flower girl due to her being beautiful and perfect while full of energy which she did give me hell trying to make her wear cloths, but I was fine with that since I was her big brother that cared for her and no matter how mad she may behave at times she would always remain my little flower.

'But I had to learn the hard way that not all stories have a happy ending due to one day out of nowhere at my mothers house while watching my little Lilly pretend to play as a dinosaur she suddenly fell over and had a seizure but at the moment I froze not knowing what to do until my mother noticed her state and called the paramedics to come over. So, at the hospital we found out that she had some sort of rare diseases where the body starts to destroy its own internal organs thinking that its harmful to the body, that since the illness was so rare that there was practically no sort of treatment nor medication to help her.

'Months would place as here seizures would happen more and more often causing my beautiful flower to slowly wither away losing all joy and happiness in her life until one morning, I found her in her bed unresponsive. After her funeral I didn't know how to cope so I slowly began doing any hardcore drug I could get my hands on until I was just another junkie that I saw on the street years ago criticizing them for there poor life decisions but then after finishing my latest high I was suddenly transported to a void of absolute nothingness and was killed by a god by accident then the rest is history.

{ Back in the medical ward}

"Oh, I'm sorry lord third I suddenly blanked out but the reason why I want to help her is because I know how it feels to be abandoned not knowing what love feels like so I will make it my mission to try my best and not abandon this girl" I proclaimed while clenching at my heart.

" I see then I will allow your request of getting your residence early and once she is questioned and is able to leave, she will live next door from you and so you shall be her guide through the village which I do hope that you give her the warm welcome that all the people of Konoha gives towards their guests.

I straiten myself and say " I will do so say you command, and I do hope that you will not question her to much since that may put a strain on her due to her being in a strange new place so I would advise having her stay and fully recover while having her be guarded just to make sure that everyone involved it safe.

" That will work just fine so I will allow that to happen so that she doesn't get frightened but now young Nox I have other matters to attend to so I will have to take my leave.

Lord third soon vanishes away to tend to whatever matters that he must.

"Well Cortana that was far more trouble than I expected but we survived with no punishments plus gaining a new home all to ourselves.

[hm You are very lucky that you got basically a slap on the hand, but it still has us a home to train in, so it worked out in the end]

[But I will not allow you to do anything stupid like that again and if you do, I will hang your head off Cortan yelled while soon after pouting!

"Ok I will listen to your advice from now on but let's get some food at the cafeteria since we may have to stay overnight.
