19 Chapter 18 : Guess the Imposter

Being led to the direction of hokage mountain, Kai was confused where their destination was gonna be.

"Auntie, whose birthday are we gonna attend?"

"It's Hinata from the hyuga clan"

'Doesn't that mean today was the night that Hinata was gonna be kidnapped' Kai thought hearing the answer from his aunt.

Kai doesn't know the details about the incident but hopefully he gets the clue when he arrives.

It's really unfortunate that Neji lost his father from a young age even though his father is innocent, hopefully he can try to do something.

After walking for a while they finally arrived in the hyuga territory and the sun just disappeared on the horizon.

Arriving at the house of the Hyuga clan head, he sees many kids playing with each other and their mother who gather with themselves talking with each other.

"Choji, Kai go play with the other" Chomi talks to them while walking away to meet with other mother's.

Looking around the front yard of the house he spotted familiar pineapple hair sitting near the tree alone looking at the ground that seemed like he was bored.

"Let's go Choji, I see shikamaru there"

Walking with Choji, Kai went to where Shikamaru was while looking around the house to try to understand it a bit.

What he noticed was that except for some hyuga clan members, all of the guests that arrived were a child and their mother.

Kai only remembers that the peace treaty coincided with Hinata's birthday, that means every Shinobi except Hyuga was attending the peace treaty.

He really doesn't quite understand How the assailant is able to sneak into a compound full of people who literally have wallhack eyes.

Except the assailant blended into the crowd who gathered to attend Hinata's birthday because there was no way Hyuga clansmen were gonna use their Byakugan into the group of women and children, moreover there another clan head wife was attending the party.

"Choji, you also come?" Hearing a familiar voice shikamaru answered while still looking at the ground playing with a stick and dirt, but when he saw 2 shadows that were approaching him he finally looked up.

Kai sit next to Shikamaru while Choji sat next to him, looking at the Shikamaru next to him, Kai remembered that Shikamaru was well-known for his intelligence.

Maybe Shikamaru can think of something for it, even though he knows Shikamaru is still a child, maybe he can trick Shikamaru into playing guess the imposter.

He really doesn't have a clue even if his hypothesis is true or not but what Kai knows is that when he never tries it he never gonna know it and people will assume it was only a child playing around.

"Hey Shikamaru, are you bored, do you want to play a game?"

"Choji you can play too if you want."

"You know in one of the people who attended the party theirs enemy ninja who change their appearance, if you have an idea how to guess who's the imposter is you gonna become the hero of the village"

Shikamaru and Choji were thinking for a moment, while Shikamaru was thinking deeply about it, Choji kept speaking about the way that didn't make any sense.

"Maybe we can just humiliate other villages by recreating an act from a story my father tells and look closely at those who seem not happy about it."

"Ahh…, Great plan Shikamaru, let's do this plan and see who the imposter is gonna be and Choji you need to help with the act."

He tells the plan and some story that maybe they don't know about the fight that every village loses embarrassingly to konoha that makes konoha sounds heroic.

"But why I'm the one who need to act"

"Kai Onii-san I can't really act well and I'm to shy to do it in front of many people"

"Because I'm older and I have better eyesight than you two to spot the imposter and Choji you don't need to act good just do terrible is okay you gonna become the villain."

"It's for the safety of the village that you two need to sacrifice a little to become a hero and Choji I'm gonna make a new snack soon for you to try, you later can try it too Shikamaru."

"Yes Kai Onii-san I'm gonna do it"

After sending them away Kai opens his system and buy the animal Skill that he needs, so he can look closely at everyone who's suspicious, even if he ends up failing at least he already tries.
