1 Ch. 1 - The Last Senju

Initially let me explain why this story is being rewritten. This fanfic was created about 2 or 3 years ago, more or less, during the Covid pandemic. At that time, I wasn't very interested in fanfics and mostly read Chinese and Korean novels, only writing a few things when I was bored.

When I started writing the story of the federal alchemist at Hogwarts, I found this and the other One Piece fanfic I had written, along with an original story.

So I decided to publish both stories to see how they would be received.

Since I saw some comments asking for updates, I decided to rewrite it and make some changes to the story to make it more interesting.

Here are some new things:

1 - The system will allow the protagonist to evolve infinitely in ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu. But it will be slightly nerfed to add some excitement, although OP protagonists are fun, I want a bit of fun.

2 - The protagonist's kekkei genkai will not be Hashirama's wood style. Although he is a Senju, I believe such a style should belong only to members of the Senju clan who served as reincarnations of Ashura and perhaps, PERHAPS, their direct descendants. I refuse to accept that some girl, whom no one even remembered the name of, has Hashirama's wood style, especially since Tsunade doesn't have it either.

3 - Harem. A controversial issue, many want it, others hate it, but anyway, it varies from reader to reader. In my case, I find the idea of a harem interesting, but I don't know if I will adhere to it, so I will leave it open for a while. If there is a harem, the girls I plan to add are: Ino, Temari, Karin. Other girls I still have to check.

4 - The protagonist will have no knowledge of the Naruto world.

5 - This is another doubt of mine about the kekkei genkai style that I intend to give to the protagonist, I'm thinking which idea would be better: the first one is an ice or lava-focused kekkei genkai, something like Kuzan and Akainu. The second would be the magnetic style of the sand village, which in my opinion was very underutilized in the work and is very cool. I don't plan to use the magnetic style to create something like electromagnetic cannons, that requires a very high study of electromagnetism that I seriously doubt is possible to obtain without in-depth studies on the subject.

Basically, that's it, I hope you like the story, I intend to update it once or twice a week, I don't know. I have the main story that serves as my priority and a new one that I started writing last week. Anyway, happy reading.

Ch. 1 - The Last Senju

In an old cabin amidst green trees, an elderly man held a piece of iron in a clay furnace. His sharp eyes watched the iron turning redder and after a while, he removed it and placed it on an iron surface and then began to hammer.

Every strike resonated through the trees in a constant symphony. The old man's body gleamed with each hammer strike, consistently making him seem like a god of the forge.

After a while, the old man put the iron back in the furnace and once again waited before removing it and hammering it again.

He did this constantly without stopping and without being distracted. A little distance away, sitting on the small porch of the cabin, a boy of no more than 5 years old watched everything in silence. He had black hair and red eyes. His clear and clean skin made him look like a little doll and undoubtedly he would be a handsome young man in the future.

The boy watched every move of the old man with fixed eyes, without missing any movement, maintaining an incredible concentration for someone his age. The old man continued working on that piece of iron for about 3 hours before finally stopping.

The boy watched the iron, which had now turned into a beautiful blade, being handled by the old man delicately and calmly.

"Kazuki, come here,"

Upon hearing the old man's voice, the boy got up and went to him.

"Look closely. What's wrong with this blade?"

Taking the sword from the old man's calloused hands, Kazuki observed it carefully for a moment before waving it a few times and then responding.

"It's too fragile?" He replied with a hint of uncertainty.

"Hm. What else?"

"The weight is also off, and it's poorly distributed along the blade. Although aesthetically speaking, it's a good blade, it wouldn't last long in real combat."

"Perfect. Well done, Kazuki." The old man then smiled and patted the boy's head before turning around to organize things in his small forge.

"Thank you, Grandpa," the boy smiled lightly feeling the heavy hand on his head. Before turning around and starting to assemble the blade into a hilt and then inserting it into a pre-made sheath.

The sword was then placed alongside another batch of about 20 identical swords, and after that, they were put into a cart, along with several other weapons like Kunais, Shurikens, and swords.

"Let's go, Kazuki, we need to take these swords to the shop."

"Yes, Grandpa."

The duo of grandson and grandfather then climbed onto their small cart and began to travel through the forest. The journey was quick, no more than 10 minutes, and then they arrived at the gates of Konoha.

Being the strongest ninja village and belonging to the great Fire Nation, Konoha was obviously an excellent trading point for the entire ninja world. However, upon seeing such a village, Kazuki felt nothing but hatred and anger.

"Calm down, Kazuki, it's not time yet," The old man obviously noticed his grandson's strange state and quickly put his hand on his head and lowered it a bit so that no one could see his dark countenance.

"Sorry, Grandpa, it's just that-"

"I know. However, as the last descendant, you have to stay calm, or else the sacrifice your mother and I made will be in vain."

Listening to such words, Kazuki just lowered his head in silence. He thought about everything his grandfather said, and indeed for now, he had to stay calm and out of sight.

Kazuki's real name was Senju Kazuki, and he belonged to the Senju clan. The Senju clan that once reigned supreme during the Sengoku period is now nothing but history. Its direct members, mostly if not all, are dead, and collateral members have long been lost by merging with Konoha.

Kazuki could be described as the Last Senju with a direct connection to the main clan, besides Tsunade. However, even so, he was almost killed at birth.

His mother, a Kunoichi belonging to the clan, swapped Kazuki at birth with Musashi's grandson. Musashi came from an ancient blacksmith clan that served the Senju clan for a long time; however, due to some internal friction and external attacks, the clan had long been considered extinct. Besides a few people from the Senju clan, no one knew that this clan remained alive.

Kazuki's mother was a low-ranking ninja during the Third Ninja War, and for a long time, she and her husband went unnoticed as members of the Senju clan. However, they were still discovered.

Her husband had a quick death while they both tried to escape from Danzo's roots. She, however, managed to escape, only to find out she was pregnant. Alone, she wandered for a while in search of a place to keep her son safe; she even considered going after Tsunade, but she was very disappointed with how Tsunade had acted, choosing to flee instead of facing the problems in Konoha.

She understood Tsunade's decision, but she didn't accept it. That's when she remembered something. An ancient clan that served the Senju clan during the Sengoku period. She went to them seeking help and stayed there until she finally gave birth.

However, there was a problem; that was a place very close to Konoha, so she knew that sooner or later she would be discovered.

Apprehensive and afraid, she decided to leave, but before that, Musashi did something she didn't expect. He swapped her son with his only grandson. In his own words.

"With this, the Musashi clan pays its blood debt to the Senju clan. Don't worry; I'll take good care of your son so that he grows up safely."

Kazuki heard this story several times as he grew up, and undoubtedly, all he felt towards Konoha was hatred. A place created by his clan's ancestors to protect their children and grandchildren from wars, today has no living direct members within it.

Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, Kazuki raised his head and returned his expression to normal. Musashi looked at his grandson and just shook his head before continuing down the commercial street. However, just like Kazuki, deep in his eyes, there was nothing but hatred for the current Konoha.
