Chapter 1: Into Naruto

"So let me get this straight," I asked the old man in front of me, who claimed to be an omnipotent being. "You're a ROB, who was bored and randomly picked someone to transmigrate into another world. I coincidentally got selected, and now it will be decided which world I go to."

"Yes, that's the gist of it. Guess I didn't need to complete the remainder of my 5-hour speech..." the old man said, rubbing his beard slightly.

I stared at the old man in shock, unable to comprehend the situation. He seemed remarkably calm about it all.

Just an hour ago, I was a normal 19-year-old commuting to work when, out of nowhere, a truck materialized and killed me. Confusion washed over me, and then I found myself in this strange place where a man claiming to be a God explained that he was bored and willing to send me on an adventure.

"Right, now we shall spin the wheel of worlds!" he exclaimed with excitement, and a gigantic wheel appeared before me.

On the wheel, I could see names I was familiar with—movies, anime, and manga titles.

"This wheel was designed by me to be completely random. So literally, nothing in existence, including myself, can affect the probability of the outcome," he explained as he spun the wheel.

The wheel slowed down, passing names that filled me with fear, such as Marvel Comics, DC, and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.

[Naruto]

When the wheel landed on Naruto, my heart sank even further.

I hadn't watched Boruto, but I was familiar with some aspects of its storyline thanks to TikTok. There was something about Kawaki using omnipotence to swap his entire life with Boruto... How was I supposed to survive in this crazy world?

Not to mention that I was being thrown into the story far into the future, during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

[The host has been given the 'Naruto' system]

Suddenly, a notification appeared in front of me, and the god smiled slightly.

"Did you think I would send you to a new world without any powers?" he remarked.

I didn't respond, still lost in my thoughts. Would this system even be helpful in such a dangerous world?

"Now, it's time to see which village you'll go to," the god declared, spinning the wheel again. This time, it displayed different village names.

As the wheel spun once more, my heart raced with anticipation. The names of different villages whizzed past my eyes, each representing a distinct culture and set of challenges.

"The Village Hidden in the Clouds," the old man announced, his voice tinged with excitement.

The spinning wheel gradually slowed down, and my eyes locked onto the name "Kumogakure." I couldn't help but feel a mixture of relief and nervousness. Kumogakure, known as the Village Hidden in the Clouds, was a powerful and influential shinobi village.

I lucked out, considering if I was in Konoha, I would probably be under the surveillance of Danzo and potentially Hiruzen, the warped Hokage.

"You will be sent to a counter-part of yours at the age of 10 inside of The Village hidden in the clouds. Then you will awaken these memories and embark on your journey. Any questions?" The old man asked.

"How does this system work?" I asked.

"The system will explain that in the future so do not worry too much about it. It is definitely your path to power so abuse it wherever you can. Find loopholes if needed." He told me.

"Anything else?"

"What time period will I be going into?"

"The exact same age as Naruto Uzamaki, that will give you a slight countdown on what is to come." The old man told me.

"Will I have any special Kekkei Genkai?" I asked him in hope. Sure a system was helpful, however against the Otsuki clan, any little amount of power was helpful. I definitely had to get my hands on some powerful Dojutsu if possible.

"It will all be up to you little one. The system will help maximize everything inside of your arsenal, however building the arsenal is up to you." He told me.

"Now, enough time has passed, good luck on your journey." He said, as he snapped his fingers and my sight slowly faded.

(Kaito Ishiwaka POV)

Opening my eyes, I saw myself in an odd, faintly familiar place. My room inside of the academy.

As I thought through my memories, it took me a little to get used to these new thoughts inside of my head.

Well, for me, I had been living in the Village hidden in the cloud for 10 years.

I was born inside of an Orphanage apparently, and then was recruited into one of the Villages many different academies during their expansion for military power.

The graduation exam was in exactly 3 days and I was already done with my written exams. I just had to perform the academy 3 Jutsus, basic Taijutsu and Shurikenjutsu.

As I was thinking about my memories and getting used to this weird sensation inside of my head, the status panel of the system had shown up in front of me.
