87 Chapter 87: The wait

The first thing that Naruto had to do was jump on Kara, and head over to another mountain, Ryujin had told him that he would first be educated about the various summoning clans including the Leviathan clan so they headed over to a place called the Mountain of Wisdom.

"So Kara-san, could you tell me a bit more about this Mountain of Wisdom?" Naruto questioned the purple Leviathan.

"Hmm? Well there is a lot to say about it, the Mountain was created many centuries ago by the boss and one of the elders, namely the Elder of Wisdom, he's one of the oldest leviathans around including the boss, don't say that to him though, he doesn't like being called old, but its fun seeing him get mad about it all the time." Kara snickered "Anyway the mountain is said to contain all the information that the Leviathan clan possesses and is guarded incredibly well, by multiple of us actually, and the elder himself but that's basically all it is, you'll see for yourself when we get there." Kara finished explaining.

Naruto and Kara flew for well over 20 minutes and flew past countless giant mountains, a few of which Naruto could sense leviathans living on, or rather in, as they all stayed in massive caves much like Ryujin.

But eventually, the two arrived at a particularly large mountain where Naruto sensed 5 presences one in particular stood out as it was much stronger than the other 4, Naruto assumed that that was the elder.

Kara flew to the top of the mountain and passed in through a giant cave entrance, Naruto could sense various seals surrounding the entrance, if Kara wasn't with him Naruto would have been fried alive and burned to a crisp, at least if he was any weaker than he currently was, he could easily bypass the seals and enter the cave by himself but there wasn't any need as Kara's presence deactivated the seals.

The two then flew down a large cave system and eventually arrived in front of a huge gate where 4 leviathans were floating around chatting with each other.

The four noticed Kara's presence and greeted her.

"Hey Kara! It's a surprise to see you hear, you're the last person I expected to be around here." One of the leviathans joked.

Kara's eye twitched "Hey! That's not nice! I'm here to bring our new summoner to the elder!" Kara shouted angrily.

All four leviathans perked up at that, a new summoner? there hadn't been one for decades, they wondered how strong the summoner was.

"Well it's nice meeting you guys, I'm going to be your new summoner, I hope we can get along." Naruto said with a smile.

"Ooooh," All four leviathans ooh'd at the same time, sensing Naruto's chakra signature, and most likely sensing that he was at least a kage-level opponent.

Naruto rubbed the back of his head as all six of them stood there in awkward silence before Kara hmpfed.

"Hmpf, stupid guards, open the damn gate already can't keep the elder waiting too long." Kara said.

The four leviathans grinned and each of them channeled their chakra into the gate which started opening by itself, Kara went through immediately and flew into a giant opening where countless unknown blobs of light floated through the air, Naruto didn't know what they were but he could sense chakra coming from them, albeit very little.

"Hohoho, Kara-chan, I see you've brought the young summoner to me, Ryujin must have told you to bring him here, it is nice to meet you young summoner, my name is Akira, and I am the Elder of Wisdom, the smartest of all leviathans and the keeper of knowledge." Funnily, Naruto expected the leviathan of knowledge to be the same size as Ryujin or perhaps a bit smaller, but what he saw was completely out of his expectations.

Akira was small, very small compared to the other leviathans, even Kara who was 30 meters in length far outclassed him in size, Akira was perhaps 5 meters in length and about 2 meters in width, he had dark green scales and long white tendrils resembling a mustache and a goatee on its face, it had a spiked fin running down it's back and multiple wing-like appendages on both its back and front.

"Indeed it is very nice to meet you Akira-san, I am Uzumaki Naruto, and I hope to be able to learn a lot of things under your guidance." Naruto introduced himself with a small bow of his head.

"Hohoho, I haven't had a student in a long time so I am quite rusty at the moment, but I don't doubt that you'll be a quick learner, I hope you are ready to learn, I won't allow you to leave until you know everything there is to know about being a summoner, I will also have to teach you proper etiquette lest you end up like young Kara." Akira joked.

Kara grumbled and turned around with a huff, "Well have fun summoner, I have matters to attend to." Kara then flew away back through the giant gate which immediately closed as soon as she left.

Naruto chuckled at her antics and wondered what kind of matters she had to attend to.

"Ah don't worry about her, she is merely saying that in order to escape from me, I still fondly remember the days when I taught young Kara all there was to know about being a leviathan, it must've been at least two hundred years ago, she was just a young sapling back then but she's bloomed into a beautiful flower, albeit a very disrespectful one." Akira chuckled fondly as he reminisced about the times that he taught Kara, oh how fun those days had been.

"Well let's not dwell upon the past, I have a few things to show you first, the blobs of chakra floating around us in short, are basically books, in other words they are information stored away into the chakra of the world and formed into balls of chakra, all you need to do is simply inject a minuscule amount of your own chakra and all the information inside the information ball will be shown, I will let you discover for yourself how they work, meanwhile I will compile the most pressing of the information that you need to know, it will take me about 10 minutes so by then I expect you to know how to use the information balls."

'Sigh, this will be a long month that's for sure.' Naruto sighed in his mind and started experimenting with the information balls.

Idk what to call the information balls other than information balls, but they're just the leviathan's form of books.
