11 Chapter 11: Ninja academy entrance exam (2)
Naruto was standing in front of a dark-haired boy, who was slightly glaring at him.
Uchiha Sasuke stared at the blonde boy in front of him, he never expected anyone to be able to contend with him, he expected to get first place easily but this was completely unexpected 'Uzumaki Naruto huh, I will defeat you right here!' Sasuke thought to himself, he was determined to defeat the boy who had defeated all his opponents with no difficulty and had acquired first place in every test.
While Sasuke was hyping himself up Naruto was quite disappointed until now he hadn't gotten a single challenge, the tests were easy and the spars were boring, he would much rather spar with Guy-sensei as he would actually learn something then, but instead, he was here wasting his time fighting people that did not even come close to his expectations.
Iruka stood between the two silently praying for the Uchiha since he saw what had happened to the rest of Naruto's opponents.
He raised his hands and swiftly brought them down "Start!".
Sasuke immediately dashed at Naruto trying to catch him off guard.
Naruto was prepared for the Uchiha's attack and moved his body to the left to dodge, he then immediately counter-attacked with a right hook heading straight to the Uchiha's face.
Sasuke was almost hit if he didn't duck in time, sadly this lead him into a perfect position to be kicked, which Naruto took full advantage of.
Naruto kicked towards Sasuke's stomach, Sasuke was already anticipating the attack and managed to block it by crossing his hands in front of himself.
Sasuke winced, he didn't expect the kick to be that powerful, he was pushed back slightly.
Naruto saw another opportunity here, he rushed towards Sasuke and threw a casual punch to draw Sasuke's attention to it while he prepared himself for a strong kick.
The punch was blocked but the kick following it wasn't.
"Agh!" Sasuke grunted in pain as the kick landed full power into his side, his breath caught short and he felt a burning pain in his side.
"Kugh, you bastard," Sasuke spoke with a strained voice.
Naruto smiled "What, did you think I would hold back?" and rushed the Uchiha once again.
Sasuke scowled, he hadn't been in a particularly dangerous situation before so he did not expect Naruto to rush him while he was down, whoever he had sparred with before always stopped and waited for him to recuperate, but that wasn't the case here, Naruto wouldn't wait for him.
Naruto was actually even more disappointed, he had expected that at least the Uchiha would be skilled enough to pose a challenge but it didn't seem so.
Sasuke moved with great difficulty as he thought of a plan, his right side was hurting too much to be usable so he could only rely on his left side, which was his weaker side, he was at a severe disadvantage here.
He moved backward as much as possible trying to buy himself some time so his side would stop hurting, but Naruto was faster than him.
Naruto was already throwing another punch at Sasuke, from this point on it would be easy.
The punch Naruto threw was somehow deflected but that didn't change much as the onslaught of punches broke the Uchiha's guard and multiple fists hit him in both his body and face.
Sasuke was punched to the ground as his knees couldn't take it anymore, Naruto also stopped sending any more attacks at him.
Iruka sighed, it looked like this was another easy victory for Naruto, "The winner is-" but before he could finish his sentence a shout interrupted him.
"No! I can still fight!" Sasuke stood up, his face covered by his black hair.
Then, something truly shocking happened, a pair of bloody red eyes stared at Naruto, one tomoe spinning inside them.
They burned with fury as Sasuke spoke with a calmer voice "I can still fight." Iruka was shocked, he didn't think his heart could take any more, first, the Jinchuriki aces his test, gets a perfect score on the Shurikenjutsu test, scores the fastest time in history for the obstacle course, and then goes on to defeat all his sparring opponents with little to no difficulty, then, even more miraculously Uchiha Sasuke awakens his Sharingan! at the age of 6 nonetheless.
Iruka decided it was for the best to let the fight end, "You may continue."
Sasuke was amazed, the world had practically slowed to a crawl, he could see the muscles of Naruto tense as they powered up.
Naruto was just as shocked, he knew about the Sharingan and knew that it wasn't so simple to awaken it, you had to go through a traumatizing experience to awaken it, and losing a simple sparring match did not seem like something traumatizing.
So in response, Naruto immediately charged at Sasuke prepared to take him down.
Sasuke looked at Naruto charge toward him, this time instead of having difficulty following Naruto's moves he could see each movement he made before he even made them so he was prepared to dodge the punch coming at him, and the kick that would come after that.
First, he moved his head just enough for the punch to miss him and moved it close enough that Naruto wouldn't be able to kick him, then he uppercut Naruto.
Naruto never expected his punch to be dodged that perfectly so he was unprepared for a counter-attack and the uppercut hit him square in the jaw.
"Agh!" Naruto grunted in pain, this was the first time he was punched by someone that day and he hadn't been expecting it so it definitely felt more painful than expected.
Nevertheless, Naruto had taken far worse before so he recovered in an instant.

Naruto laughed inside his mind, his health had already been above 3000 2 months ago and after the training he had been doing it was even higher so the uppercut that took all of Sasuke's strength amounted to basically a child's slap.
Sasuke was just as surprised, he never expected Naruto to recover that quickly, it seemed the scars Naruto had weren't just for show.
With Sasuke's guard still being down Naruto had an easy time punching Sasuke, who couldn't move away in time, he could barely block the punch which hit his left arm causing extreme pain to Sasuke.
Sasuke wasn't as accustomed to pain as Naruto had been and his body had already gone past its limits.
Sasuke's eyes felt heavy, his body was sore and his side was hurting.
While he had broken through and awakened his Sharingan, it had taken an extreme toll on him and the amount of Chakra that the Sharingan consumed was too much for Sasuke to use for a prolonged time, so in response, his body shut down and he passed out.
An anticlimactic end but a victorious one nonetheless, Naruto had finished his quest, he had gotten first place, and he had defeated everyone, while disappointed in the others he was proud of himself.
Iruka raised his hand "The winner is Uzumaki Naruto!".
The crowd of children surrounding the field they were fighting on was shocked in silence before they broke out in cheers, saying how 'cool' the fight was and that they were amazed by the fight.
Naruto smiled, he had been acknowledged by others, for the first time in his life Naruto had been truly acknowledged by his peers and it felt great to him, so in response, he raised his hand and grinned.
The exam was now over and people started to head home, the new students were given papers detailing which class they would be in and were given their timetables, books, and all the necessary things for the academy.
Naruto had also decided to head home, he would meet with the Hokage at a later date since he was sure that the Hokage would need time to process his results, after all, they were quite amazing.
Naruto lied down on his bed and looked at his system notifications.

He had leveled up twice, that was quite the experience for him, every level he would gain 10 vitality and 3 intelligence from the perks he has, so he instantly felt his tiredness leave his body as his vitality went up by 20 points, he was awestruck and quickly opened his status window.

Naruto's eyes widened, his vitality was comparable to that of the Chunin he had seen, he almost had the same amount of vitality that Iruka had, which amazed Naruto, while his other stats weren't that high his vitality was insane.

Naruto was pleasantly surprised, he had gained a perk after surpassing 50 in a stat, which meant that he would get a lot of perks if he just leveled up, since he would gain 10 vitality a level, it was amazing to Naruto to see how strong he could become, and how quickly he could do it.
Now there was one more thing for Naruto to check out, the new skill he had gotten, ID create/escape.
