Chapter 40 - Just Create One

Akai sat next to Sukuna on his bed as he explained, ''The one who created me is Danzo with the help of the Second Hokage, who was always obsessed with the Uchiha. But since Hashirama repeatedly checked up on his corpse and paid respects to him so he couldn't do anything to Madara's 'corpse' since Hashirama would notice it. So he resorted to taking a piece of skin of Madara's brother, once his brother died, he did the same to him for the survival of the Senju's in desperate times

Akai didn't say anything but just hugged Sukuna, putting her arms around him as she held him tightly. 

''I'm not sad Akai'' Sukuna said with a bitter smile on his face to Akai's confusion. 

''I wouldn't have mind this at all if I knew from the beginning, but I've been repeatedly lied to. Besides, if I don't have a family, I can simply make one'' Sukuna grinned and pinched her ass, causing her to yelp in surprise as she jumped up. 

''….You have gotten even more shameless'' Akai said with squinted eyes. 

''I'm probably not even human, why should I abide human customs? Besides, I might be even older than you are'' Sukuna shrugged as Akai trembled and hissed, ''I'm not old!'' 

''Not old....'' Sukuna said with a helpless expression as Akai nodded with satisfaction, ''Just 'seasoned', right?'' 

Akai jumped on Sukuna with an angry expression as he whole-heartedly laughed for the first time since ascending. 

After a minute, Sukuna sat up with Akai on his lap as he looked up at her, ''Will you still stay with me?'' 

Akai smiled at the double-meaning and nodded before putting her arms around his neck and putting her lips on his. 

Sukuna locked his arms around her waist as her hands suddenly grabbed his face as she looked at him with a light smile, ''Bit happier?''

''Better, but I'm not sad about it Akai. I got the potential to become one of the most powerful people to ever live, with power comes the ability to choose my own way. Including on who to make a family with right?'' Sukuna smiled as Akai smiled beautifully, 

''I thought you would be devastated, but I like your smiling face better'' Akai said as she stroked his cheeks.

''In all honesty, I'm envious, not jealous. Not about a child having parents, but about the love that it brings. But within the Senju's, there are enough people that genuinely care about my well-being. They would sacrifice their lives for me without hesitation, I don't care that I was a weapon created for the Senju's. I love the people here, they had nothing to do with my past'' Sukuna said with a nonchalant smile as he looked in her eyes. 

''Umu, atleast you know that you're not alone. Which is enough for me'' Akai said with a smile as she closed her legs around his waist as she kissed him once more. 

Sukuna already knew of the way he was created the moment Akai confirmed his guess. Just like how Uchiha Madara had bitten off a piece of Hashirama Senju's skin and used it to create the thing on his chest, Tobirama had done the same to his own brother and Uchiha Madara's brother's corpse. 

The Tailed Beast were sold to the villages, but before that they were sealed by Hashirama with only Tobirama able to see them. 

The dates were also quite simple; 

On Hashirama's birthday, she would repeatedly apologize because she was aware of Tobirama's experiment and most likely took part in it somewhat considering that her story didn't make sense. 

She said she sealed his Wood Release before he was born because she was a sensor, but that didn't make sense since a child could only be sealed after six months of pregnancy while his parents left the compound at three months of pregnancy. 

Her words were that she had sealed his Wood Release and then sent them away, which proved to be false. 

As for the last one, Tobirama.... 

If his guess was correct, then Tobirama had once again proven he was more insedious than Danzo. 

After a few minutes, Akai was out of breath while Sukuna looked at her intoxicated gaze with a grin on his face. She got off his lap with an embarrassed gaze as she looked away, ''Did it help?'' 

Sukuna grinned and nodded before saying, 

''As long as the people close to me are happy, I don't see the point in acting hurt because I didn't have the perfect life. Sadness will not change reality, only I can change my future, so sadness doesn't have a part in it'' 

''Umu, that is better'' Akai said with a bright smile as Sukuna climbed up from his bed. 

''Where are you going?'' Akai asked in confusion as Sukuna removed his bandages. Before, Akai only paid attention to his height, but now it was apparent not only his height changed. 

His figure had put on more muscles while his shoulders got broader by a large margin while it seemed a massive burden was released from his shoulders as the previous exhausted look gave birth to a vigorous bright look on his face. 

He was happy that he at least had an idea how he was created, that was all he needed. He didn't need the specifics. 

''You should get ready too'' Sukuna said with a smile as he put on a 'wide' shirt, his black sweatpants and his step-in shoes. 

''You should buy different clothes, show-off'' Akai said with a grin as Sukuna smiled bitterly as his previous oversized shirt was now plastered against his skin and perfectly showing off his figure. 

''What are we going to do?'' Akai asked as she got up while Sukuna threw the book he showed her across the room into a corner. 

''We'll first go and check up on Itachi, I left him a nice surprise. Afterwards we will go and pick up the kids'' Sukuna grinned with a teasing smile as he hummed and left the room, clearly satisfied by his little surprise. 

Akai was confused but couldn't help but smile and follow after seeing his happy expression.

Inside the Mizukage's office, the Mizukage had an emotionless look on her mature face as she looked at her visitors. 

''Mizukage-sama, you should know very well by this incident that the new Hokage is not someone who values the current peace you have created within your village'' Mabui, a shoulder-length white hair woman with tanned skin said politely while holding a book in her hands. 

She was a beautiful woman, but Mei knew she was a very calculating woman. Besides that..... 

''So you're saying he will come after my village instead of yours who is clearly weakened to become the weakest of the five villages?'' The Mizukage sneered as Mabui trembled and gritted her teeth. 

After they lost the Eight Tails' Perfect Jinchuuriki, many internal matters had spiked up and blamed A for the loss of Killer Bee. 

A's position had never been as steadfast as Sukuna's, there were many people that had ambition within the Cloud. 

''Mizukage-sama, do you think that the current Hokage won't come after the other Jinchuuriki?'' Mabui said with a cold look on her face as the Mizukage's eyebrows raised, ''What do you mean?'' 

'''The One Tails' Jinchuuriki never returned to the sand, he went missing after the chaos in Konoha'' Mabui said as she showed a picture of a ruined patch of land that had become a small dessert. 

The Mizukage's eyes went wide before she covered it up and said, ''So you're saying he is planning something with the Tailed Beast?'' 

''Most likely'' Mabui nodded and replied while the Mizukage continued, ''How did the other Kage react?'' 

Mabui shut and didn't speak, Sunagakure was in an internal warfare just like them at the moment while the Tsuchikage just laughed at their misfortune. 

Seeing her silence, the Mizukage had to hide her grin as she said coldly, ''Leave, I will think about our further course of action'' 

Mabui left with a conflicted expression and closed the door behind her, the moment the door closed, Mei whistled, causing a falcon to appear at the window. 

She bound a letter to its left leg and said with a beautiful smile on her face as she tapped its back, ''Bring that to him'' 

The falcon cried out as it flew away at lightning speed while Mei sneered, ''He gave us not only technology that changed the financial pressure of the village, he also gave out the names of every traitor or Bloody Mist Era fanatics. You rock humpers can enjoy your miserable time while I gladly enjoy the little bit of rest I finally have'' 

Mei sat back on her chair and leaned back, after a long time, she finally had a little time for rest...

''How are you feeling?'' Sukuna said with a grin as he looked at Itachi who leaned his back against the headrest with an impassive look. 

''Better than before, my eyes are completely integrated now'' Itachi said with an emotionless tone as he held a hand over his right eye and noticed there were no issues. 

''How are your injuries?'' Sukuna asked which cause Itachi to stretched out his arm, it didn't take him long to grimace, 

''Bearable, the strain on the eyes were the worst'' 

''Good, this is your new family home so do with it what you want. My home is less than a minute walk from here so if you need me, just pass by there and someone will notify me'' Sukuna said with a grin as Itachi picked up Sukuna's words and asked, 

''Family home?'' 

Sukuna didn't say anything as his grinned widened before pointing behind him where the door swung open, Sasuke stood at the entrance of the door with a complicated, angry and sad expression on his face as he walked closer to Itachi in big strides. 

''Let's go Akai'' Sukuna said as Akai gave him a small warm smile as Sukuna stood up and passed Sasuke who he gave a pat on the back, creating a small seal that sealed his Chakra momentarily. 

''Why?!'' Sasuke instantly yelled as Sukuna didn't turn around and showed off the kunai's Sasuke had hidden in his right hand, ''You don't need these'' 

As they left, Sasuke looked at Itachi with rage and asked coldly, ''Why?'' 

Itachi wanted to get up but finally noticed the seal on the bed, causing him to curse at Sukuna under his breath as Sasuke yelled, ''TELL ME WHY!'' 

Itachi finally looked at him in confusion and asked, ''What do you mean why?'' 

''Sukuna told me everything!'' Sasuke yelled as he grabbed Itachi's collar, causing Itachi's eyes to finally give a proper reaction and open in shock. 

Seeing Itachi's expression, Sasuke continued as he shook Itachi, ''Why... WHY DID YOU SPARE ONLY ME?!'' 

Itachi kept silent as Sasuke continued, ''What is different between our mother or father?! Wh-...'' 

''Because you didn't know anything'' Itachi replied coldly as Sasuke backed off with a slightly fearful expression while Itachi continued, 

''You had no part in the Uchiha's falling, you were just a child'' Itachi's expression was cold as ice as he said emotionlessly, ''Did you think I did it just for you?'' 

Sasuke opened his mouth, but no words came out. At that moment, a gentle voice entered the room, ''Yes, you did'' 

Both Itachi and Sasuke visibly trembled as their heads turned towards the door where a fair-skinned woman with long, straight black hair with bangs hanging on either side of her face to roughly frame her cheeks and black eyes. She wore a simple dark purple blouse with a red-plum skirt. 

''M....mom'' 

''Mother'' 

Two unbelieving and shocked voices rang through the room as Sasuke hastily arrived beside her and touched her to see if it was real. Feeling the warmth from her body, he finally burst out crying for the first time in years as he held onto her tightly. 

Itachi on the other hand, felt his breath shorten as his eyes turned red while his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan was activated and broke the seal, the moment he wanted to take away his injured body, Mikoto's gentle yet pleading voice sounded out, ''Itachi, please....'' 

Itachi trembled as his expression turned complicated before his Sharingan disappeared, Mikoto pulled Sasuke closer to Itachi's bed as she sat on a chair next to him. 

She touched Itachi's hand and said, ''It seems you strained yourself a lot'' 

Itachi couldn't speak or hear anything, just numbly looked at her face as he remembered the past. 

Mikoto smiled with pain apparent in her eyes as hate filled her gentle soul, her children, her blood, were traumatized by the village and the Uchiha's ambition. Over and over and over again. 

She pulled Itachi's head against her shoulder, finally making him realize it wasn't a dream as Mikoto's eyes teared up, she could really hold her children again. 

Itachi moved one of his trembling arms behind her as he hugged her tightly while biting his lip. 

Mikoto held her children tight as she gave a warm smile towards the shadow that was leaning against the door.

Sukuna gave a warm smile as he walked away with Akai who hugged him tightly and asked gently, ''Not envious?'' 

''Not really'' Sukuna smiled as he held her head against his shoulder, ''You made me realize, if I don't have a family, I can just create one'' 

Akai smiled and rested her head on his shoulder as they walked towards the school to pick up Rin and Naruto. 

This past month, the majority of the internal matters were handled while everything was properly handled. Only a small portion left the village while Sukuna exposed the majority of Danzo's crimes while making sure everyone knew they were aware of Hiruzen's knowledge about them.
