37 Chapter 37 - Naruto's Parents

''It seems that you three have succeeded'' Sukuna said with a bitter smile as he looked at the injured Kurenai who still beamed a smile. 

''Ofcourse! Tsunade and Akai dealt with the One Tails while I dealt with the surrounding people'' Kurenai said proudly as she sat down next to Sukuna on the couch in his home. 

Danzo had been captured while Hiruzen and his Clan was about to be dispelled. As for how Danzo would die? He would be stoned by the villagers that he caused grief for a decade, which would happen in a few days. After that he was supposed to be let go, but Sukuna was going to seal him away after destroying his Chakra Veins. 

As for where to seal him? In the eyes of the position he always wanted to be in, Hiruzen's stone eyes on the mountain. From there he could watch over the Leaf for eternity, suffering in solitude without being able to die, or move. 

It wasn't hard to capture Danzo with the combined effort of the Senju's and Hyúga.... Even Hiruzen ordered the normal ANBU to help aswell as himself that took part in capturing Danzo. The old man didn't even get the chance to use his Sharingan due to Sukuna being a pain in his ass. 

''Where is he?'' Sukuna asked lightly as Kurenai pointed at the floor. 

''Maru has already been trying to figure out a way to not kill the child'' Kurenai replied as she looked at Sukuna who was leaned back against the backrest of the couch, his upper body covered in bandages. 

''You three have worked hard'' Sukuna smiled warmly as he looked at her injuries, although not that significant compared to his, she got hurt for his sake. 

That alone was something hard to digest for him, he always tried to do things himself for this exact reason, but even he knew that that was merely wishful thinking. 

''Umu, we did'' Kurenai replied proudly as she stood up, ''I have to go now, many things are still happening at the moment'' 

''Stay safe'' Sukuna said with a light smile as Kurenai suddenly appeared next to him and pecked his cheeks. 

''That is a present for being br-….'' Kurenai's naughty smile was interrupted by Sukuna who pulled her jacket towards him as she fell over his legs into his arms while his lips touched hers. 

Kurenai's was shocked and went with the flow until a tongue invaded her lips, which caused her to jump up with a red face and growl at him. 

''Pff, what are you? An animal?'' Sukuna joked as Kurenai cursed with a light smile, ''lustful brat'' 

''Go do what you need to do, I'm going to sleep'' Sukuna said with a light smile as he walked upstairs as Kurenai said goodbye before leaving with a light smile on her face. 

The moment Sukuna arrived at his door, he noticed a that the door was already slightly opened. 

He smiled lightly as he walked in, causing a small creature to hide herself under the blanket of her futon next to Sukuna's bed. 

''You were serious about staying in my room?'' Sukuna asked with a grin on his face as Rin peeked her head out and nodded with a serious expression, causing Sukuna to burst out laughing. 

He disappeared in front of Rin's gaze as she suddenly felt a pair of arms pick her up and throw her on the bed as Rin yelped in surprise. 

Sukuna didn't waste time and got into bed as well, leaving Rin with a flushed face laying there, hiding under the blanket. 

''How is your study on Medical Ninjutsu?'' Sukuna asked with a warm smile as he closed his eyes with his arms under his head. 

Rin turned towards Sukuna and replied Shyly, ''T...the teachers are really strict, but I learn a lot and... made a friend'' 

''Haha, that would be my mistake that they are so strict. But they try to give you enough freedom to study what you all want yourselves. Who is your friend?'' Sukuna laughed and asked. 

''She is called Lyla, she....'' Rin wanted to explain, but Sukuna grinned at her and continued, 

''Lyla Senju, 15 years old, born on the 21st of December. Her parents ran a bunch of stores in Kumo but returned after I ascended. Her mother is in charge of Building #2 while her father acts as a production overseer'' 

Rin opened her mouth as she looked at him as he shrugged and grinned, ''Habit'' 

''You even knew her birthday....'' Rin said through squinted eyes. 

''I know everyone's birthday, I know their past, their present, everything'' Sukuna said with a nonchalant expression as he closed his eyes while giving proper space. 

''Every Senju Clan member?'' Rin asked in surprise as Sukuna smiled lightly. 

''Sumure-san?'' 

''2nd of March'' 

''Akai-san?'' 

''24th of April'' 

''Tsuyu-san's?'' 

''15th of Februari'' 

Rin continued asking questions for another five minutes until she finally gave up, she held the blanket as she looked at Sukuna's face for a while until he fell asleep. 

Only then did she gently stretch out her hand and softly poked his cheek. Seeing he didn't wake up, she lightly smiled as she moved closer and softly pecked his cheek with a flushed face and tightly closed eyes as she whispered, 

''Thank you...'' 

… 

''Who are you?'' Naruto asked with a questioning gaze as he looked at the masked figures with sleepy eyes, clearly not happy being woken up in the middle of the night. 

''Naruto-chan....'' An old voice came from behind the masked figures as Hiruzen came over with his walking stick. 

''Old man?'' Naruto asked with a confused and mixed expression, ''Why are you here?'' 

Many of them had come to know of the current situation of the Leaf and what happened. 

''Naruto-chan, I want to ask you to leave with us'' Hiruzen said with shame apparent in his voice. 

Naruto looked hesitant and wanted to speak up, until a mocking voice came from the top of the roof. The masked figures got into position as Sumure, Satori and Tsunade jumped down the roof under their shocked gazes, clearly not expecting them to be here. 

''You want to trick the kid into leaving and use him as a weapon again?'' Sumure sneered and asked, making Hiruzen frown and retort, 

''I have never used him as a weapon'' 

''Not yet, who knows what you would do. After all, you let the kid live a life full of hardships despite promising his parents to take care of him'' Satori snorted as Naruto's expression turned pale, ''Y..you know who my parents are?'' 

Satori turned towards Naruto and said, ''Yes, so does Hiruzen 'sama' over here'' 

Naruto turned towards Hiruzen frantically who could only look away in shame as he remembered Kushina's last words.... 'Please take care of Naruto'…. 

''Old man! You knew who my parents are ?!'' Naruto asked with clear desperation in his voice as his expression was frantic. 

Hiruzen looked at the child and couldn't hide the hurt in his eyes as Tsunade interfered with a serious expression, ''This is why I choose to accept his plans Sensei....'' 

''Tsunade....'' Hiruzen wanted to speak but couldn't as Tsunade in front of Naruto and put a hand on his head as she said, ''Naruto, you can choose for yourself. Do you want to stay or do you want to leave, nobody will blame you'' 

Naruto looked conflicted for a moment before he turned resolute and said, ''I want to stay! I want to become Hokage one day!'' 

''Naruto-chan, you don't know what Sukuna will do with you since you have the Nine Tails'' Hiruzen softly said which made Naruto flinch as the news of Killer Bee dying at Sukuna's hands was spread and Konoha obtaining the Eight Tails. 

''Naruto, the only reason he did so was to strengthen Konoha and have the opportunity to fight against the corruption within Konoha, the corruption created by Hiruzen'' Satori said with a cold face. 

Naruto wanted to scream but no words came out as the two forces stood opposite of each other with cold looks towards each other. 

''It seems that you all never listen huh?'' A strained cold voice filled with rage sounded from behind Hiruzen's people as they turned around. 

Sukuna slowly walked over, supported by a girl that was wearing a mask. He wasn't going to show Rin to people like Hiruzen ofcourse, so she had to wear a mask. 

The two of them had finally drifted off as his door his door was knocked by one of the Jonin's he send out to make sure nothing would happen with Naruto as he recovered. 

Hiruzen's people looked at him with rage and killing intent but still made way for him to pass as he stood in front of Naruto who couldn't help but gulp upon seeing Sukuna. 

Many people called him ruthless, yet many people would call him kind for just exiling Hiruzen instead of killing him after all he hid away from the public. 

All in all, after Sukuna left the arena, it was one big battle of words as many people hesitated if they wanted to leave or stay in Konoha after it was known that Sukuna wouldn't note anyone down as traitors if they wished to leave the village. 

''Sukuna, why are you here?'' Hiruzen asked with a complicated expression as Sukuna just glanced at him coldly before turning to Naruto who seemed extremely nervous. 

''Tsunade already told you, you can leave if you want to, you can stay if you want to. Nobody will force you'' Sukuna softly spoke as Naruto slightly calmed down while he continued with a light smile, 

''How about speaking about it with your parents?'' 

''M...my parents? I can meet them?'' Naruto's eyes visibly lit up as the people around him grew confused. 

''Naruto, can you show me the Nine Tails seal?'' Sukuna asked with a sigh as Hiruzen cut in, 

''Are you planning to unleash the Nine Tails like you did to the Eight Tales?'' 

Naruto trembled and looked at Sukuna who sarcastically said, ''Do I look like I'm in the state to fight the Nine Tails? I couldn't even beat it if I wanted to, by sacrificing my eyes I could control it for a few minutes but then it would just go on a rampage again'' 

''Still, what you did to Killer Bee is-…..'' Hiruzen wanted to speak up again as Tsunade appeared in front of Hiruzen and punched out but stopped midair as Sukuna's hand was placed on her shoulder as he shook his head. 

Hiruzen could feel the cold sweat on his back as he didn't expect Tsunade to suddenly attack him, if it wasn't for Sukuna who stopped her, then he would definitely be heavily injured at the very least. 

Naruto didn't give Hiruzen more time to interrupt as he bit his lip and unbuttoned his shirt and the Eight Trigrams Seal appeared in front of their face. 

Sukuna softly touched the seal as his eyes started spinning before his Mangekyo Sharingan appeared before both he and Naruto fell forward. 

Sumure and Satori caught Naruto while Tsunade helped Rin put Sukuna slowly to the ground. 

… 

''Sukuna-san? Is this?'' Naruto hesitantly asked as Sukuna shook his head before a pair of blood red eyes appeared in the darkness as a low voice sounded out with clear disgust, 

''You actually dared to directly come here'' 

Sukuna glanced at the Nine Tails before turning back to Naruto, ''The one who sealed the Nine Tails inside your body is your father and mother, they left part of their Chakra behind so that if anything were to go wrong, they could still support you....'' 

''But then, how am I going to talk to them?'' Naruto asked with a confused expression as Sukuna pointed at the seal over the lock on the Nine Tails' gate. 

''Try to rip it off'' Sukuna said with a light smile on his pale face as Naruto looked at him with a scared expression while the Nine Tails laughed with its rage-filled voice, 

''Hahaha indeed! Do it! Then I can finally rip you apart!'' 

''Naruto, do you think I would kill myself?'' Sukuna asked with a bitter smile as they both knew they would both die at the hands of the Nine Tails, especially with Sukuna in his state. 

He still stood in only wide sweatpants, step-in shoes and a bandage-covered upper-body while his face was pale from using his Mangekyo while being injured to this extent. 

Naruto hesitated for a moment before his curiosity got the better of him, Sukuna knew the kid yearned for a family more than anyone. Maybe only Sasuke could match his yearning, but his would be satisfied soon enough... 

As for Naruto, Sukuna couldn't do much yet since Kushina had a Chakra Reserve of around 1.200.000 by Sukuna's estimate while Minato's was around 850.000. 

The Nine Tails looked exhilarated as Naruto came closer and closer while his body was shaking. Clearly not knowing what was going to happen next. 

The moment Naruto held the edge of the seal in his hands, Sukuna also put his hands on the bars holding the Nine Tails as he took a deep breath before pulling a small imaginary hole in the seal, enough to let the Nine Tails chakra through as it flowed towards Naruto as if he was a magnet. 

''AARRGHHH!'' Naruto screamed as his body was covered by the Chakra. Just as the Nine Tails wanted to laugh, it disappeared under Sukuna's view as a huge white space appeared around them. 

As Sukuna wanted to sigh in relief while touching his aching shoulder, a flash appeared behind him as a Kunai reached towards his neck behind him, making him have to grit his teeth and dash forward with all his power. 

At that moment, another figure appeared on top of him and pinned him to the ground as a red-haired woman sat on his stomach while her hair flailed in the wind before punching at him with ridiculous force. 

Sukuna's body ached and felt his wounds opening up. He slightly shifted his body and tried to avoid the fist, but a figure suddenly appeared behind the woman as it slashed its 'claws' at her. 

Sukuna quickly moved his body as he sat up against the woman, and hit the claw away under Naruto's confused expression while the woman headbutted him back with his back onto the ground as she wanted to punch out again. 

At that moment, Naruto clung onto her back and held her tightly as the first figure, Minato, yelled out, ''Kushina! Stop!'' 

Kushina, confused and merely acting on instinct, looked at Minato and then at Naruto's face behind her with confused expressions as she felt tears welling up in her eyes. 

Naruto was confused before recounting what Sukuna had said, his body trembled at the man and woman as he hesitantly let go of the two and muttered, ''M...mom? Dad?'' 

The two trembled as Kushina grabbed a hold of Naruto before hugging him tightly, Minato's insane speed was proven to Sukuna aswell as he grabbed the other side of Naruto tightly. 

Sukuna crossed his arms over each other as he questioned his life decisions.... 

Now here he was, crushed under a woman's body while his morals didn't allow him to interfere in their moment. 

It took a good three minutes of crying before they slowly let go of each other, they looked at each other with relief as they saw each other while Sukuna just continued to stare at the nothingness above him. 

After another two minutes, he finally raised one of his legs and hit Kushina's rear to make her remember she was sitting on someone's injured stomach. 

Only after feeling the nudge underneath her did she remember what she was doing and looked towards Sukuna who was still looking at the endless white air with an empty expression while feeling his life was a joke. 

Kushina hastily got up and stretched out a hand with an apologetic smile, ''I'm sorry, I thought you were trying to let the Nine Tails go free'' 

Minato also hastily cut in and said apologetically, ''Same here, I'm sorry if I caused you any pain'' 

Sukuna took Kushina's hand as she pulled him up as he said with a deadpan expression, ''Don't worry about it, atleast I know how others feel like when they question their life'' 

''Pff.... Hahahahaha'' Naruto started laughing as he teased, ''You never felt like that before I betcha'!'' 

Sukuna gave him a deadpan expression as he looked at Kushina and Minato who stood around Naruto while feeling his cheeks and body. 

''I reinforced your spirit, but I can only buy you an hour at most'' Sukuna said with a bitter expression as they looked at his Mangekyo Sharingan. 

''You're part of the Uchiha?'' Minato asked as Sukuna shook his head and glanced at the excited Naruto before saying, ''Go focus on your child, he has a lot to say'' 

''Let me fix your bandages'' Kushina said with apologetic smile as Sukuna shook his head with a smile, ''I'll be fine, I have 15 minutes to kill anyway'' 

Kushina gave him a grateful smile as Sukuna walked away for a bit and sat down while looking at them from a distance. 

He didn't sit close enough to listen in on their conversation, neither did he want to. 

Although his wounds were aching, it was quite bearable. If it was in reality though, he could imagine his wounds would've been torn open. 

'Damn that She-Hulk' Sukuna cursed under his breath as he smiled lightly and looked at the three who seemed to be happily talking while they were forcing themselves to hold back tears. 

Sukuna couldn't help but look at the kid with pity, the child had been alone from the very start. It would be fine if his Jinchuuriki status was concealed properly, then he would just be lonely. 

But Danzo... 

Sukuna's eyes grew cold, Danzo would definitely suffer a life of suffering from now on. A life where he didn't even decide his own life or death. 

As he watched the three of them together, he couldn't help but take a deep breath as he remembered his own past. 

'So this is how it could've been huh' Sukuna smiled bitterly as he tended his wounds, changing his attention to something else as Naruto talked to his parents for the first time.
