30 Chapter 30 - Orochimaru

[You only have two weeks until the Chuunin Finals, you're strapped for time if you don't wrap up soon] Isobu mentioned kindly as Sukuna walked through another emptied village with an emotionless gaze.
[Sukuna?] Isobu's heavy voice loudly rang through his mind, shaking him awake,
''Yeah, sorry, I was a bit distracted. Thanks'' Sukuna said as he looked at his clones carrying people on their shoulders.
[It's not weird, hundreds if not thousands of Uzumaki's, Uchiha's, Senju's were captured from branch family members to the Main Family members. Yet no storm was raised, this Orochimaru fellow is quite handy] Isobu said with a sullen tone, the sights they had seen changed his view on humans.
It wasn't only Tailed Beast that they mistreated, they couldn't even treat each other with kindness...
''Indeed, but the ones that interested me were the ones in this village, there were thousands of Kaguya's'' Sukuna said with a slightly interested tone.
[They are a war-like Clan, I remember them vividly. They were quite the scary bunch] Isobu honestly said as Sukuna disappeared further north towards the coast.
''There is only one place left....'' Sukuna said with a serious expression.
[Keep note that your body is still under a lot of stress regarding you reviving three people, it's best if you don't revive people for a while]
''I know, but after killing Orochimaru, the 4.500.200 inhabitants of Otogakure will naturally also be mine. The tax money will also be ours while I can use many of them as workers to increase the production way easier than in Konohagakure'' Sukuna said and continued, ''But I need his complete submission while continuing being his previous self, that is why I did it''
[I see, are you planning to use them as slaves?] Isobu asked with a double meaning.
''No, they can choose to work for me, I will pay them a normal wage. I have no idea to keep slaves, if someone is that bad to be deserving of the treatment of a slave, I will just use them as a sacrifice'' Sukuna said with a cold look as he suddenly came to a stop in the middle of a huge grass field.
[What is wrong?] Isobu asked as he suddenly noticed that the previous strong wind had suddenly died down.
''It seems that my element of surprise was seen through huh?'' Sukuna said from behind his mask as a barrier was activated around him.
A snake-like man with a ghastly white expression, snake-like eyes and long black hair appeared in front of Sukuna.
''It seems that you have decided to face me by yourself?'' Sukuna's cold voice fell as Orochimaru smiled at him,
''Considering you destroyed all my laboratory's by yourself, it's better to use my pawns to reinforce the shield so you can't leave. Letting someone like you run free would be a pain in the ass you see'' Orochimaru said as he moved his hips, making Sukuna have a disgusted expression on his face.
As if Orochimaru sensed his disgust, he smiled and said, ''You don't like woman? I see, you're a special one huh? That is fine''
''You're not a woman'' Sukuna said in a deadpan voice.
''Ara~? What do you mean?'' Orochimaru smiled as his body started cracking, his hips widened, his bust stretched the fabric on his chest while his facial features turned faminine.
Seeing Orochimaru change like that just felt weird for Sukuna as he grabbed his sword.
''It seems you aren't satisfied with me, it truly seems that you like men'' Orochimaru said with a teasing expression on 'her' face.
''I simply don't have an interest in a man pretending to be a woman'' Sukuna replied with an emotionless tone which confused the Legendary Sannin.
''I never had a gender, how else would my Living Corpse Reincarnation Jutsu work?''
''You know, I truly don't know why we're even on this topic right now....'' Sukuna said with a confused expression as he his Chakra soared.
''No! Wait a second, I want to make it clear fir-'' Orochimaru said frantically but Sukuna interrupted 'her',
''We're trying to kill eachother, why does your gender matter in the first place!''
''Because you don't make any sense! It's annoying!'' Orochimaru yelled.
''Fine, go ahead and tell me your nonsense'' Sukuna said with a deadpan voice as he sat on the ground, secretly interested in the Jutsu Orochimaru used to switch bodies.
Orochimaru smiled widely, making Sukuna shudder as the smile on that face truly was enchanting yet terrifying.
''My Jutsu works by moving the soul from one body to another, including my Chakra. If my Chakra was pure Yang, then I wouldn't be able to move my soul into a female body. But LIKE I SAID! I was born with no gender!'' Orochimaru explained as 'she' continued with a bitter expression and mumbled,
''Which is also why I never managed to learn Sage Mode''
''So you decided to use thousands of test subjects for your own selfish goals of obtaining immortality and to try and find a way to learn Sage Mode?'' Sukuna sneered which made Orochimaru even more confused,
''You slaughtered those villages without knowing whose they were?''
''What do you mean?'' Now it was Sukuna's turn to be confused as Orochimaru burst out laughing,
''They were Danzo's you idiot! He can't do the more morally challenging inside the village of course, besides, smuggling all those test subjects inside would be a pain for him. I only have dozens of test subjects myself''
''You want to tell me, you, a mentally ill good-for-nothing, sissy looking clown that is obsessed with immortality and Sage Mode only have dozens of test subjects?'' Sukuna said with a sneer on his face.
''Yes, about 100 died over the span of since I left Konoha. Many of them were bandits, some were innocent'' Orochimaru said with a grin on her face.
''How do I know if you are speaking the truth?'' Sukuna asked with a monotone voice.
''Well, Sukuna-chan, it would be good to start with masking your scent'' Orochimaru said while putting a finger next to her chin and slightly tilting her head.
Sukuna shook before slowly removing his mask, ''Did you know from the beginning?''
''Ofcourse! After all, I was the one that helped sealing your bloodline'' Orochimaru said with a grin on her face as Sukuna's mind exploded.
''Why are you telling me this?'' Sukuna asked coldly, his voice emanating killing intent at this point.
''Because you came looking for answers, I can give you answers while you can give me the perfect test subject'' Oroshimaru licked her lips as she looked at him, clearly indicating she already know 'what' he was.
''In that case, tell me. Whose idea was it to create my body out of a Tailed Beast's flesh?'' Sukuna asked coldly which made Orochimaru's eyes jump open.
''Your body is made out of a Tailed Beast's FLESH?!''
''You didn't know?'' Sukuna asked while Orochimaru started breathing heavily while looking at him.
''Ara~… I might actually jump you at this rate'' Orochimaru said with a frenzied expression. Her large breast moving up and down from the heavy breathing.
''Do it and I will make sure you won't get a days rest in the underworld you creep'' Sukuna said coldly as he readied his sword.
''Alright, alright, calm down. How about we properly sit down and talk, we will make a seal together that will force us to keep our relationship hidden, okay?'' Orochimaru said as she calmed herself down.
''You don't even have the answers that I'm searching for, why would I waste my time being your little test subject when I can just kill you right here?'' Sukuna said coldly.
''Because I'm willing to follow your commands as long as you let me study your body, my only goal is immortality. I have no use for wealth or status while I can control the Land of Sound for you'' Orochimaru said with an enchanting smile as she emphysized, ''Any~…. Command you want to. Don't hold back''
Sukuna shuddered and thought for a moment, ''You make everything sound so weird, lets just get this over with and create a cursed seal for everyone here. I don't trust them so they will naturally take on too''
''Oh, them? You can have them if you want to, they are a great asset to the Senju's if you like them'' Orochimaru grinned, pointing at the Sound Four in the distance.
''Just like that?'' Sukuna said with a confused expression.
''Just like that'' Orochimaru nodded with a grin on her face.
The two of them were both geniuses and considering their prowess, it didn't take long for them to make a cursed seal that restricted their freedom according to their deal.
In actuality, Sukuna could kill Orochimaru, but then he would have to kill and revive not just her, but also the Sound Four and other successful test subjects which he couldn't do anytime soon considering Orochimaru had way more Chakra than him.
Besides, Orochimaru had even showed proof she never researched on Senju's. She didn't hide it that she was planning to though, but she didn't even know everything about the Uchiha's... She had no time to research the Senju's yet.
She merely helped protecting them according to their deal, which Sukuna couldn't hold a grudge against because that was just business. Danzo would have found another place for his experiments if he couldn't do it in the Land of Sound....
''So, what exactly do you know about me?'' Sukuna asked with an emotionless gaze as he looked at two small dots on his palm, the smallest they could make the curse mark.
''I personally modified your DNA'' Orochimaru said as she sat down on a rock and looked at the blue sky as she continued,
''But who you think brought you to me is wrong''
''So it wasn't Danzo?'' Sukuna asked with furrowed eyebrows as he took of his mask and sat on a rock opposite of Orochimaru.
''Yes and no, Danzo brought you to me to be experimented on. You, who were part of the Senju's and had an Uchiha's DNA... It would surely advance my research by leaps and bounds. Your mother was still pregnant when they came here, but as you realized, your body wasn't made from Tailed Beasts flesh and muscles'' Orochimaru said as she looked at him,
''Danzo wanted me to dissect you, I refused. If you were older I wouldn't have mind doing it since you could've developed your skills a little more, showing me you were worth experimenting on. But by then, I didn't know much''
''So you weren't the one that created this body of mine then'' Sukuna said as he sighed.
''No, but I think you should know something.....'' Orochimaru said with a heavy sigh.
''What?'' Sukuna asked with furrowed eyebrows.
''Have you ever felt like you were 'the perfect weapon'?'' Orochimaru asked which caused Sukuna's eyes to open in shock.
''It seems that you did. Now, don't you think it's very convenient that the Senju's gained the perfect weapon on the brink of destruction?'' Orochimaru continued to which Sukuna wanted to open his mouth but couldn't.
The more he thought about it, the more it started to link together. The only thing they couldn't account for was that he survived because of that man.
''In my opinion, the only ones sick enough to dissect an infant and create his body of Tailed Beast flesh while having access to that flesh were Danzo and.....'' Orochimaru said with a pitiful look in her eyes and wanted to continue, but Sukuna interrupted with a nonchalant tone,
''The Second Hokage, right?''
''Ara~? Seems like you already had a hunch huh....'' Orochimaru said with an enchanting smile while Sukuna just sighed, ''Marani Senju, what do you know about her?''
''Marani Senju? You mean the woman walking after the Second Hokage like a little lost puppy?'' Orochimaru said with a grin, but lost that grin as Sukuna's eyes grew sorrowful.
''So she knew huh....'' Sukuna smiled bitterly as he leaned back against the rock.
''You two were close?'' Orochimaru asked carefully.
''I called her grandmother, I killed my parents because they betrayed the Clan'' Sukuna said with the same bitter smile.
''I know about your parents. To be honest, they deserved it regardless. As for your grandmother, if she truly cared for you, you should think it over before you do anything rash. She might have had less of a choice in the matter then you thought'' Orochimaru said with a warm smile which made Sukuna laugh out loud.
''What?'' Orochimaru pouted as Sukuna wiped the tears from his eyes,
"Saying those words, I would almost forget you were a psychopath!''
''If I'm a psychopath, what are you? I think we fit in quite well together'' Orochimaru said with a teasing smile.
''A hero would sacrifice their loved ones for the world, I would rather burn the earth myself than see someone I care about die'' Sukuna shrugged nonchalantly.
''Good words, but lets begin the experiments now!'' Orochimaru said with an obsessed grin as she moved her body towards Sukuna.
''How about you do those tests in Konoha?'' Sukuna asked with a grin.
''You want me to come to Konoha with you?'' Orochimaru stopped and asked doubtfully.
''Do you have a way to create a fake head of your old body?'' Sukuna asked with a demonic grin on his face which made Orochimaru shudder as she nodded.
Sukuna's expression turned serious as he thought about his grandmother, in the end, everything led back to her....
