29 Chapter 28 : Encountering Girlz
5 Days later /
Inside a room, there's a low cozy bed on a mat. The walls are mostly plain, a desk in a corner and a wardrobe which were full of the same type of clothes .
I sit there, wearing only my underwear, leaning on a wall while looking at a single strand of hair that was blood pinkish red on my hand .
then i look at my status for a moment .

sighh, i am turning to a monster real fast, it won't take me some years until i become a full-fledged monster, a new race unknown to this world .
I look up and stare hard at my reflection in the mirror opposite to me then slowly...

I began to transform, with my hands turning into claws, my teeth turning into fangs, black armor covering my skin, glowing veins running along my body and hair that was covered in armor too. My back grew several holes that glowed with an ominous colour .
My height increased and Everything became clearer to me, now feeling as if i was some sort of cripple in my human form .
I felt my perception going up to inhuman levels to the point that i could perceive more of my surroundings without even me looking, i could hear people a little far away from my house talking and laughing, my senses of smell amplifying, i could see some foreign colours that i have never seen in the air, and i could see a fly moving in slow motion above me .
After feeling myself lost in this euphoria of new feelings for Some seconds, i regain my focus and look at myself in the mirror, slowly stand up and approach it to look at myself .
" i sure look fearsome and scary " i said in a deep hoarse voice far from my human one while staring at my black armor which had red glowing veins spread on it .
" but... the scarier the better, scary is cool " i said to my self as i began to go back to my human form because of the strain my monster form causes me .
Even without my Assimilation going up further, i can train and last longer in that form in the future because of my race changing slowly, but i won't be as strong as the OG garou .
That dude broke his limits countless times in a span of weeks in that form while fighting non stop, and i have to do something similar to him to fasten my assimilation and become stronger than OG garou himself .
But that's not possible for now .
I slowly put on my usual attire and make my way outside through the hall of my house until i was in front of the front door of my house . I put on my tai chi slippers then slide the door to go outside .
" i will go out for sometime mom ! " i told my mom who was in the kitchen .
" have a good time baby ! " my mom said much to my embarrassment.
sighh i swear she will still call me a baby even if i became old, but that's how parents see their children i guess...
I close the door and make my way outside our compound which was slowly becoming empty because of the clansmen dying of old age .
I look at some empty houses that some kind grandmas gave me cookies whenever i came out of the house and sighh to myself and continue on my way to the unknown .
As i approach a famous district which were full of stalls that sell food, i hear people shouting about every kind of food, trying to get the attention of hungry pedestrians .
" We have delicious Dangos come and get one !! "
" Takoyaki, we have Takoyaki ! "
" We have grilled yakitori people ! "
" Senbei Senbei SENBEI !! "
I heard every kind of food being called to. while walking, i gathered some attention because of my physic or unique appearance but i just ignored them and slowly approached a stall selling takoyaki...
" can i get around 100 Takoyaki balls please ? " i told the the stall owner who was a middle aged man .
He looked at me suspiciously because i asked for too many takoyakis, fortunately i didn't look like a kid, and to avoid useless conversation, before he could speak i put around 400ryo which is 40$ in front of him and he became happy instantly.
" Right away sir ! " he said and immediately began to work .
I wait and look around with crossed arms while tapping the ground with my foot until...
" Garou, is that you ?! "
" hmm ? " i hear someone ask me and i turn to my right to see a cute tsunade with her usual green sleeveless kimono that covered until her thighs and ninja sandals .
She got closer to me and looked up at me because of the difference in height which her head reaching only until my chest .
" ohh it was really you ! you sure stick out of the crowd with that unique hairstyle of yours ha..ha " she said while scratching her cheeks .
" it's surprising to see you here tsunade, how are you ? " i said to her not really surprised .
" i am fine thanks, so what are you doing here ? " she asked curiously while putting her hand behind her back .
" ahhh, i ordered some takoyaki there " i answered while pointing at the middle aged man who was busy putting the takoyakis in a box.
" hmm, you like takoyakis ? " she asked, looking at the stall .
" well, i am not a picky eater, every food has their own special flavours in my mouth " i replied as i approached the stall to pick up the box full of takoyaki .
" here it's young man, i hope you come back again ! " the stall owner said with a smile on his face while i just nod and pick up the box full of takoyaki and slowly make my way to somewhere across the street.
" so what are you going to do ? " i hear tsunade ask beside me .
" i don't know, i want to find some place to eat i guess " i replied while looking around the stalls .
" hmm, if you are looking for a good place then i know somewhere you would like for sure " she said as she jumped in front of me excitedly .
I look at her for a moment " Sure, you can lead the way " i said not really minding where she will take me .
" then follow me ! " she said with a wide smile on her face .
we started to navigate through the street to our destination in silence which was turning awkward... for her .
" Soo, what are you doing on your free time ? " she suddenly asked me .
" i usually train and sometimes sleep " i answer her .
"that's all ? " she asked while looking at me with a raised eyebrow .
I put my empty hand on my chin and rub it " hmmm, well, there are not many things one can do in this day and age, so yeah that is all "
" That's Booooring " she said with a bored expression and i just shrug at her .
" not for me " i said and continue " what about you ? " i ask this time taking the initiative to not make this awkward for her .
She lit up at my question and " i do so many things like, training, studying with my grandma, explore the village with my friends, play games, Gamb- " she slipped out at the end and covered her mouth .
" Gamble ? So you gamble huh..." i said with amusment and a sad smile as i remember that old bastard Arata-san who was my first friend but now six feet deep under the ground .
" hehehe, well, it's just a hobby and nothing serious hehe " she said shyly while i deadpan at her in my mind ' yeah yeah just tell yourself that ' i thought to myself not really caring .
After some time a small park came into view which was filled with trees and flowers or other plant life like any usual park you see with some children and adults here and there .
" here we are ! it's quite empty most of the time but i like the quietness of this place and come here to relax sometimes " she said with a smile and i nod at her .
" i got to go and not disturb you more, so have a good day garou " she said and turn around about to leave .
" i have bought many takoyakis so come sit with me for a little if you don't mind " i said as i look at her eyes .
I feel like she has something to say to me and she came all the way to show me this place, so it's rude to just let her leave like this .
She looked at me for a moment struggling to decide to stay or leave " won't i be a bother ? " she muttered shyly loud enough as she looked around with her hands behind her .
" no " i replied and made my way to find a spot to sit .
it didn't take long for tsunade to follow me and me finding a place, i sit comfortably with her beside me and i put the box in front of us .
As i opened the box, a mouthwatering scent filled the air. Inside, full of takoyaki, golden balls .
" that many ?! " tsunade said surprised .
" i have high metabolism " i replied nonchalantly and she nods absent minded while looking at my muscles .
I give a toothpick to tsunade which was inside the box, she came out of her stuper and shyly grabbed the toothpick.
She and i carefully lifted one takoyaki, It was hot and crispy on the outside " itadakimasu" we said and i slowly put it in my mouth to greet a burst of flavours . I close my eyes to enjoy the taste for some time and then i open them again, ready to eat more .
" it's delicious ! " tsunade said .
i look at her who was enjoying the takoyaki with a hand on her cheek .
" yes " i complimented her .
After some time sitting and eating...
" hey garou ! " tsunade called .
" what ? " i ask .
" i am sorry " she said and i look at her who was looking at her feet with confusion .
" for what ? " i ask .
" that day when i suddenly punched you and you got angry, so i am sorry for that ! " she said as she looked up at me .
" hmm, well, no worries because i already forgot about that until you mentioned it, so you don't really need to be sorry " i said nonchalantly while waving my hand .
" really ?! you are not angry ?! " she said surprised much to my confusion again .
What is there to be surprised about girl, i already told you i am not angry .
" it's already going to be some couple hours that we are together, did i look like i was angry at you ? " i ask with a raised eyebrow .
" he..he, well you had that scary face all the time so i thought you didn't like my company " she said while scratching the back of her neck, embarrassed .
" what kind of person do i look like to you in your head " i ask with a raised eyebrow and cross my arms .
" well you look, scary, angry .... Rude " she said while counting with her fingers and she narrowed her eyes at the end .
I deadpan at her while pointing at my face " that's just my natural face you know "
" tehee~ " she teheed at me playfully .
' this girl ' i shake my head and smile a little .
" so you haven't forgotten about that time huh ! " i asked rhetorically while smiling .
