Chapter 70 : Doug

"Hmm, the question is..." I stopped as I put my hands forward and intertwined them "You are a ninja so why you didn't figure that out yourself ?" I asked with a wide grin.

"What ?" He said, totally confused like all the people here, including the nara dude.

They didn't get what I wanted to say so I explained "This is a ninja village filled with thousands of trained people in the art of spying, espionage, killing and concealment. And now you ask me why am I hiding my strength ? You should ask why you even didn't bother try to see the obvious ! Like bro I ain't a smart ass but a look at my biceps would ring some danger bells to anyone with some brain cells !" I said while looking at a now slightly pissed off Hiruzen and Danzo.

Most of the time, in every 200 metres you can find pairs of ninjas on a roof of a house or stationed on the ground across the whole village to protect it and watch out for anything unusual, and let's not talk about all those genins and chunins running around doing missions daily, so is it my fault this dude doesn't know much about my strength ? What's the point of being a ninja then when you can't figure this out ?

"We have been informed before of your abilities but we still didn't know enough !" He replied in a low voice, trying to to say as if I still hide my strength which is suspicious.

"I never hide my strength to anyone, never even tried to ! I even beat the crap out of some trained kids in the academy using only my fists and copied this white eyed dude's pathetic set of movements called Taijutsu with a glance !" I said with a grin as I pointed at the guy which made the Hyuga grit his teeth in anger and wanted to retort but I continued what I wanted to say.

"I am the son of two powerful jonins, have a body that men will get jealous at and women droll for, and I am sure you were informed by that fucker Sakumo about some of my capabilities ! Also, I am the son-in-law of the freaking Mito Uzumaki, do you think a woman of that calibre will just accept anyone to marry this angel here ? this is fucking stupid bro, you guys are stup-hmff!!" I said in disdain and Tsunade held my mouth with her hands and smiled warily at the dumbfounded and baffled crowd.

"He didn't mean to be rude, sorry on his behalf !" Tsunade with an apologetic tone.

"Hmm, maybe I should update the training regimen for my police forces" We heard the Uchiha guy say seriously while rubbing his chin which made the other clan heads to also think that the ninjas are becoming slack because of years of peace and need to be taught a lesson.

"Seems this long times of peace has it's own consequences too !" The Yamanaka guy said which made others to nod in agreement.

Koharu and Homura were about to say something to retort but the half conscious Nara clan head said tiredly before them which made them shut up "No..no, he has got a point actually !"

But before Danzo barked I removed Tsunade's hand much to her displeasure and continued "And do you think I am not aware of being spied on most of the time ?... maybe if not for those incompetent ninjas who spied on me to laze around most of the time, you could have figured my strength out but again the question is, why..didn't..you..find..that..out ?" I asked between pauses with a smirk while all the time Hiruzen's eye was twitching.

He sighed and composed himself and said "As I said before that we knew you had some strength but that doesn't mean we know everything about you  !" He said with a tired voice as he somewhat retreated to press on the matter anymore.

"And you are supposed to know everything about me ?" I asked back with eyes narrowed.

"No but I must ask, what was that power you used to cause that pressure and create a momentum that was somewhat on par with mine ?!" He replied and asked seriously which made all the clan heads get shocked and their focus immediately went on me and surprise was deep in their eyes because of his remark, especially Danzo who didn't expect Hiruzen to say this.

They were all thinking that if what the Hokage's acknowledgment of this is true then this guy in front of them is a Kage powerhouse. If he is, then it's reasonable that no one knew of his real strength.

Meanwhile even those cold emotionless Anbu who spied on Garou all the time prayed to whoever for what the Hokage said to be true as this damn fucker just exposed their lazy asses in front of this crowd here and their punishment will be severe if not.

'What in the hell is this fucker on bout ?' I thought in confusion as I looked at Hiruzen with a saitama face in my mind.

'Did my Hado to cause a misunderstanding ?!' I thought again in bewilderment but a second later I grinned evilly at this unexpected outcome and lock my eyes at Hiruzen which made him flinch for a sec.

"Didn't expect you to figure out my current standing of strength Hiruzen-san, seems the reason you are the Hokage is not for nought. but I will have to say this, everyone has secrets and I am not obliged to answer any more of your inquiries !" I answered but all got stunned and began to murmur amongst each other as I admitted I was a Kage powerhouse because if this is true then Konoha's reputation can raise a notch and can boast about having another powerful ninja in their disposal which could change many things like having an economy boom as merchants and nobles will become more interested in dealing with Konoha as a whole.

Also, newspapers exist and the news of another Kage will benefit many of the people here. There are stories of what kage people are capable of and Konoha being more reasonable and trustworthy than the other ninja hidden villages will immediately catch the attention of all the people of power and the price of land in Konoha and many other things that could be sold for benefits can raise.

"Do you not trust us, the elders ?!" Danzo rudely said with a murderous intent in his gaze. He was already pissed off at this disrespectful brat and now finding out about his real strength just made him realise what kind of a huge mistake his ninjas committed for not informing him about this.

'I should have killed him much sooner when I had the chance but now things will become much more difficult !' Danzo thought with his fists clenched hardly that blood drew from his hands.

No one from this powerful people could feel much from Garou, but the strongest of them all, sarutobi Hiruzen, admitting that this guy here is on par with Kages like himself then it must be true and he has some sort of way to hide his strength and those muscles on his body is not just for show which made them look at Garou in a new light while even some already were thinking about giving their daughters and women to have his children.

He is so young and so strong, so his children are already more precious than any kind of wealth.

Also, him being very rich is like the cherry on top and their clans will be bound to prosper and become rich without a doubt.

While also two of the most greedy crowd here, Hamura and Koharu were already going through many girls to arrange for him, all their anger just vanished as this opportunity raised. they were already eyeing his business but couldn't act on it because of the Akimichi clan but with this opportunity they could at least have a piece of the pie or its shares.

"Yes but not just you, I don't trust anyone here, just looking at the change of your expressions is already red flag, and I also don't trust ninjas as a whole so...!" I replied which made some to Hmph and others to get dissatisfied at what I said.

They are protecting civilians and help out the village, put their lives on the line against their enemies and now this guy here dares to say this ? But even though angry, what can they say except swallowing their words as they didn't want to lower their chances for a possible cooperation with him and have huge benefits go get from him.

"I understand your skepticism and not trusting us Hatake-san, so I won't press on the matter more, but can I invite you to join the ranks of the ninjas of the village ?" Hiruzen suddenly said and asked with a glint in his eyes but with with much more respect than previously shown which I nod at.

The combination of Kurama and mine's spirit created a very sinister and strong momentum that even made Hiruzen get cautious and think I had immense strength I was hiding just because of the Hado I released but that's not the case obviously, I am still nowhere near having that kind of power but who said I couldn't take advantage of this misunderstanding.

I turn to look at Hiruzen and read his Aura to see that he is just a normal Kage which also a surprise but as an excuse, this man still has two wars and a lot of training to go through to finally become the professor which is understandable for him mistaking my Hado for strength as his senses are still evolving and can't accurately discern my power level.

Although he can accurately do it for others here but I am a special case and he really thinks I am a Kage who knows how to hide my power which is not true but still a welcoming surprise for me.

And I was also feeling good at the fact that I know they must be thinking how can this be when I have no chakra, but the power I showed made them think otherwise and have second thoughts about my capabilities and think that all those reports of me being crippled is not true.

"No, I don't want to be a ninja but you can boast my name for the outside world if you are concerned about the benefits the village could get from it, so I don't mind false information to get out, not that I care anyways !" I said nonchalantly and he nodded in understanding.

He knows that I don't want to be bound by the village but before he and Danzo started to argue, I gave my consent to speak whatever they wanted to the public as it will not just benefit them but it will help spread my name across the world too and help my business more.

"I understand !.. then I won't need to continue this argument and it was nice knowing someone like you is from this village, I hope you can help the village prosper like you already have done till now and protect it !" He said with a butt licking gentle smile that disgusted me but I just nod nonchalantly.

He then turned to the crowd "Now I would like to talk abou- yes Inuzuka-san, you can speak !" He was about to say something but the bombshell dog woman who had long brown hair that turned slightly yellow at the middle onwards, hazel colored eyes with two red tattoos on her cheeks and some scar marks on her right arm and shoulder and big boobs, raised her hand to say something.

"I would like to say that the Inuzuka clan will withdraw in supporting Konoha financially !" She said with her arms crossed while glancing in my direction from time to time with a proud provoking smile which confused me like hell.

'Just ignore her' I thought.

What she said caused some to get confused and others to understand and some clan heads to contemplate and think. Hiruzen already knew what Garou said what was on everyone's mind out loud may cause something like this so he didn't react or care that much but the elders were the ones who were gritting their teeth and become angry.

"May I know the reason Kai-san ?" Koharu asked her with a frown.

"No big reason, I just remembered that my clan needs that money for something else !" She replied while staring at me which I didn't bother to reciprocate.

"I think the Uchiha will also withdraw !" The Uchiha clan head suddenly said which made some other clans to also withdraw after him.

"Sighhh, I understand. now, I want to express my gratitude for everyone's participation today. Your contributions are integral to the village's success. If there are no further comments, this concludes our meeting !" Hiruzen said after a while and with this, the meeting came to an end and we slowly came out of the Hokage tower.

I was holding my angel's hand as I got out of the tower and she was about to say something but-

*Swoosh !*

With a blurr, the Inazuka woman Kai appeared in front of us with her wolf looking like dog.

"You will have to come with me Fenrir !"
