17 I don't know what I should name this chapter

For the past 2 days, Minato Sensei has been teaching me one of his signature jutsus, the Rasengan.

And I don't know if it's because he has just recently created this jutsu or whatever but he sucks at explaining it in order for me to learn it.

The method through which Jiraiya taught Naruto the Rasengan is much better but unfortunately, I can't seem to remember the exact training method. I know it has something to do with balloons and balls but I am just not sure what.

Luckily Kakashi had already learned this jutsu the in a few weeks after Minato Sensei created it. Otherwise I would be forced to follow Sensei's incomprehensible explanations. Though Kakashi is only slightly better at the explanation himself.

Apparently he didn't face the same problems I did and he was able to learn the jutsu himself after seeing the it.

Which made me realise something about myself, I fucking hate geniuses.

And before you say it, No I am not a genius. I mean I am, just not at the level of Kakashi, Itachi, Shisui, Sasuke and others like them.

I am above average no doubt but I can't even compare to them in terms of sheer talent. I mean I trained a lot to just pass the academy graduation test and then there are these fuckers who are playing life on easy mode.

The only reason I am able to even compete with them is because of the system otherwise I would have died like 5 times already.

But enough of the jealousy. My Rasengan training is going slowly but there is progress so I am very happy about that and also other than that I have been working on a project of mine in my spare time. Although calling it a project will be an overstatement it's more like I am trying to imitate a move out of a different anime.

I am trying to reproduce Black Flash from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Now Black Flash in this world will be dope. Imagine the power of my attacks getting amplified several fold.

I could probably even destroy an Elite-Jonin level ninja with that.

Not to mention if it is as it was shown in the anime, the space itself will curve and that could be used to countering Obito's Kamui in the future, if I am not able to save him and the plot continues.

Also one big thing thing happened. It was both good and bad.

My sword broke

As you know, I was trying to figure out how to use the sword flow with lightning nature and the answer to that was increasing it's density or intensity, whatever is the right word for lightning.

I tried simply pouring more of my lightning into the sword and it started vibrating almost instantly as if it could not hold more. I slashed at a tree with this and though the result was better it wasn't the desired one. It went just a meter out and 'twas really week.

So I started brainstorming and then decided to copy a technique from a different anime.

I decided to copy the principle behind Yamamoto Genryusai's Bankai, the East version.

Instead of letting the flames go throughout the blade, he decided to seal them only in the tip of the blade.

So, I started to focus my lightning chakra only in the tip of the sword, condensing it simultaneously to make it denser and well it still couldn't seal all o my lightning/electricity but it did store a huge amount of it.

The sword started glowing in pure white light instead of the normal blue which was very surprising and this brought a smile on my face at the time.

'I had succeeded' I thought

But as soon as I swung it towards the trees, the sword immediately shattered. All of the lightning concentrated in my sword did flew out but in the form of Sasuke's future jutsu 'Chidori Stream' if I remember correctly.

Most of the forest area was destroyed. And I flew back and crashed into the ground because of the recoil. The destruction could be considered to be on the same level as that of a high A rank jutsu. Which was the good thing. Luckily I was alone at this time so there was no drama.

If I am out of options, I can just break my sword like this to annihilate the enemy.

Sucks for them.

But it is truly a shame that my sword broke since I can't get aother one of the same quality. I mean I could have taken the broken sword and asked the blacksmiths here to create a sword out of the same material but it was completely smashed to pieces and all of them said that it was too much work to melt all of these pieces and forge a new sword out of it and told me to just buy a new one.

Anyway that is all what happened in the past 2 days which leaves us just 4 more days until we are deployed for our mission. And if I am being honest, I am a little anxious.

Especially after hearing the updates of the battle. In just 3 days, close to a quarter of our forces have been annihilated which means that we will probably have to leave for the mission earlier than expected just like the Hokage mentioned.

'Well it'd be fine. There is no point in thinking about it.'

Right now, I am just lazing around in my house b'coz it's much more fun than training.

There isn't much to do since there is no T.V. , computer laptops video games etc. but surprisingly there are manga in this world or at least in the village I don't know about the others.

They aren't even comparable to the mangas of our world but still I can read them to just pass the time.

There was another option for me, the smut novel eccha echha that Kakashi reads a lot. Otherwise known as 'the make out paradise' but I decided against it since I am pre-pubescent and can't even get hard right now and what's the point in reading or watching porn if you can't even enjoy it.

*Knock* *Knock*

I saw an anbu waiting outside my bedroom window.

I quickly got up and opened it.

"You have been summoned by Lord Hokage for a mission. Grab your gear and reach his office in 5 minutes." He said and the shunshin-ed away.

Well my day is ruined

"What?" I asked everyone present in the room, still baffled by the current situation.

"It is as you have heard. You are to lead the remaining group of genins and freshly made chunins to the frontlines to participate in the battle against Iwa." the Hokage replied

"But what about the mission to destroy the Kannabi Bridge?"

"That will be carried out by rest of the members of team Minato. They still need more time and preparation. And to buy that time we need you to go to the frontlines with a 100 more shinobis following your lead."

'Fuck! I didn't expect this to happen.'

"But why me? I am pretty sure that there are others more qualified than me. Also, shouldn't we send more Jonins out there instead of them?" I raised my concerns

I really don't want to go on this mission. Let me at least enjoy a few days properly.

"The news of Iwa's invasion on us has already spread among the other shinobi villages as well and if we bring in more of our Jonins from the borders to fight against Iwa the other shinobi villages will not let this chance go by and will also launch an attack and that is something that we can not afford."

"Also, I have read minato's report about you clearly and from it I know that you are a Chunin only in name and you have already surpassed that level.

You will be leading the forces out immediately. I have already informed Minato about this mission of yours and the ninjas who will be going with you are already waiting for you at the gate. So leave immediately."

'Ahh fuck I can't get out of this!!'

"Yes Hokage-Sama" I bowed and ran out of his office.

'Let's just hope it will be a little fun'
