1 A New Beginning

Pain. That is all I experienced as soon as I woke up. It felt as if someone was constantly stabbing me in the head. This went on for about 5 more minutes, however as soon as I thought that the pain was subsiding, a ton of memories flushed into my brain causing me to pass out.

During what felt like an eternity, I experienced all of these new memories and feelings which were not my own but of a boy named Hatake Shiro, an 8year old genin of Konoha in the year 62 (same age as Uchiha shisui), who was sent off to the battlefield during the Third Great Shinobi War.

Yes, this could only mean one thing, I had transmigrated into the world of Naruto as a mob character. This was simply unbelievable at first, but by the end of my slumber, it felt as if all the experiences of this body whether it's about training, world knowledge and fighting skills as well as the habits all of them were now mine.

Anyway after this mind torture which I would never want to experience again, I slowly opened my eyes, As soon as I did I found myself lying on a bed inside a medical camp at konoha's base at the Iwa front. Obviously I couldn't get all of this just by opening my eyes, I had known about the current situation through the memories.

I tried to sit up straight but as soon as I did my body started aching, apparently I had many wounds from the enemy's ambush, I was able to narrowly escape the clutches of death and was fortunate enough to survive until the reinforcements arrived.

The owner of this previous body was an idiot I mean I get that it was an 8 year old but still. Graduating early from the academy just to prove himself to be better than Shisui only to impress a girl from his class is the stupidest reason to take part in the war.

Anyway, If I recall correctly The Third Great Shinobi War should be over in a year or two. I have to use this time to raise my strength to a completely new level, since there is no chance of my survival otherwise.

I have already lost my life once and I don't plan on losing it again. When I think about the threats of this world I might have to face in the future, it sends a shiver down my spine.

"...." my train of thought came to an end after this one new thought came in my mind

'I should also have a cheat in this world as a transmigrator right?'

'System' I said in my mind but there was no response. 'Then should I say it out loud?' To be honest I really don't want to do that since it will be embarrassing for me whether someone hears me saying it or not.

I knocked my head around and made sure that no one was there to hear me, "System" I finally said after summoning as much courage as I could.

On the holographic screen floating in the air, I read the message of my dreams. I immediately said "system show me my stats."

I see, just barely enough to qualify as a Genin. 'I should make up an excuse to get out of the further missions, and maybe the war itself....' My thoughts were again cut in between by the system.

"Yes" I replied

After only a second after agreeing, I was again put through the same torture I had experienced a short while ago. But now I knew everything about the system.

Basically..., it's not that great. I can see my stats whenever I want, but aside from that I can use it's special functions only twice in a year and that too until I am 18 years old. In short, I can access the special feature of the system only for 10 years and that too 2 times in a year so 20 times total.

Now, this system is basically like the gacha system. It will all depend on my luck. However, it is a bit more classified.

for example, I can choose whether I want a skill, physique, template, weapon, etc. And depending on my luck, I will get anything from the selected categories present throughout the multiverse, whether it be a spell from Harry Potter verse, an ability from Marvel Universe, etc.

Also the skill, physique, template, weapon, etc. are further classified into ranks. Ranks being common, rare, unique, legendary.

BUT!! anything I receive will be modified for the power system of the naruto verse. Meaning that if I get breathing techniques, it's power will be amplified with chakra, however there is no way of getting a saiyan's body or any other op stuff.

One good thing is that I also received a gift pack that gives me 3 more chances at the gacha consecutively with a higher chance of getting a high ranker card.

After picking the category, a shit ton of cards entered my vision with their backs turned towards me, each card was in one of the four colours, blue, red, purple, and golden. All of these cards started revolving around me, gradually increasing their speed until all I could see was only a blur of these four colours.

And the suddenly all of these cards vanished from my vision until I turned my head around to see only a single card floating in air glowing with a red hue.

'It's a Rare Skill!!!!' I exclaimed inwardly.

I snatched the card immediately and flipped it's side ti see what skill I had got and I was left speechless. It was....
