Danzo's Dilemma

To kidnap or not to kidnap, that is the question.

Being the protector of Konoha and its people. The true leader of the glorious village (Me, if you didn't guess it at first) should not be subjected to such difficult questions.

I am the root that holds up the tree.

I am the foundation upon which the entire village is built.

I am Danzo Shimura.

My agents bring me news of a new addition to my village.

And Hiruzen, the Hokage, did not even inform me of it.

Perhaps, he does not trust me anymore.

The thankless fool! After all the times I saved his life on the field.

He is such a pussy (The younger generations come up with such great insults, as childish as they may seem).

That is one of his greatest flaws among the countless others.

Coming back to the new problem on my "fragile" hands.

The Uzumaki.

The rest of the village may have forgotten about the Uzumaki being our allies.

Allies. What an interesting concept.

Ryu Uzumaki's story was easily confirmed through my channels.

There were many discrete discrepancies that denied the very existence of that boy.

He said that his father was named Momochi.

Momochi wasn't a common name even in Kiri.

Momochi was known to have been a womanizer in his young age. It was a secret, of course. But I, as always, know these secrets. It was his way of hiding the fact that he was a disgusting human being who enjoyed the company of men.

Yech! Ugh! Brings me memories of that OTHER brat. At least, he died quickly.

I put away my own feelings about the lives others lead, however sinful.

Skilled in almost every aspect of Academy lessons.

Even more than the last Uchiha, who was another problem for me.

Sometimes I wonder if this was specifically planned by my enemies.

A jinchuuriki, an Uchiha and now a pure-bred Uzumaki.

A conspiracy! There has to be!

All of them have ANBU trailing them, all are under Hiruzen's protection.

Such great opportunities wasted!

I feel cheated.

Hiruzen fends me off with a stick whenever I try to take some good little soldiers for the protection of Konoha.

He seems to have become friends with an Inuzuka as well. The heir himself, to be exact.

That gives the new boy an extra layer of protection.

He is cunning as well.

I could not approach him. He was quite untouchable.

But even the Shodaime himself cannot stop me from getting at least one of them.

Orochimaru might help with that.

He'd be pleased.
