Self Introspection and Promotion

Yoriichi was quite happy with all the changes in the village especially when the traitors in the higher echelons of the Uzumaki clan were found.

He wished that with all this the destruction of the village and the Uzumaki clan will no longer happen. He could now sleep without getting any nightmares of getting the village destroyed or traitors killing his family in sleep.

Now he could just focus on having fun in this world. When he first came to the world he was worried about his family getting killed or village getting destroyed so he only trained. But now he could enjoy life in this new world.

Who wouldn't dream to go to a fantasy world with cheats? Who wouldn't want to do all the crazy anime things? Yes, he may have been a soldier but he still watched anime in his free time and always dreamed of doing such things.

He was doing the cool things before too, but now he could enjoy doing it rather than getting worried to get stronger to save his family and village.

He was free. But whether he was truly free, only time would tell. Were there no more traitors in the village or would Zetsu and Madara plan to destroy Uzushiogakure seeing it's too strong for their plans?

Yoriichi also had these questions in mind but he was not worried as he and the village have enough strength to thwart any such plans.

As for his personal growth, well there was nothing new there. It was just a week and all he could do was work to increase his physical strength.

Yoriichi has realised that he was extremely lucky to get the gifts from the God. The demon slayer techniques were very strong on their own but with his large pool of chakra and Uzumaki physique, they even became stronger.

Heck, the demon slayer mark makes them 10 times more strong and if he activates all of them he can go 30 times as strong. Not to forget that if he learns other breathing techniques and gets their demon slayer marks, it will only increase. Though, it was just a fantasy for him right now.

His eye of kagura and the regeneration was also kind of overpowered. Eye of Kagura gives him the ability to become one of the best sensors out there and his regeneration heals him within seconds.

Only with these gifts, he would have become the strongest out there if he developed his powers fully.

But he had even more boons. His Dojutsu which he barely used was already strong at its stage 2 and he had another three stages to develop it. Sure, it came not minimise A rank and S rank ninjutsus right now or himself but just the ability to attack people with the minimised rods was ridiculous.

Then there was Rho Aias, he doubted anyone could even break it. And then there was his sword and scabbard. The scabbard acts as his chakra battery and Muramasa was probably the best sword in this world. Not to forget the ability to teleport that was granted to him by the sword.

And if all of these were not enough, he had to go and ask for the two contracts from GOD which he had yet to use.

'Must be my good karma in my previous life. But I should still thank the God.' Yoriichi thought as he kneeled on the ground as he looked at the sun in a praying position

"Thank you God-san for giving me so many gifts and such a loving family. May Jesus bless you!"

[A/N: This is me complaining about me giving him so many boosts. Jesus, just one of the Dojutsu or the breathing technique should have been enough but no I had to give him all of these gifts. I blame the God that gave him his gifts. Oh well I can't just take it from him now and neither I can Nerf him. I don't like my mc getting nerfed. But he has developed strong enough now. So he wouldn't have easy powers up now. All powers up from now would be tough especially for his Dojutsu and physical strength increase. He might have new jutsus and all though. Well I will quit yapping and y'all enjoy the story and keep supporting]

He was called by Ashira to the Uzukage office probably for a mission.

Arriving there he saw quite a lot of his acquaintances. All of his squad mates- Kaito, Chino, Isuki and Jiro were there. Some of the ones who participated in the Genin tournament were also present namely Kiyoshi Watanabe, Hisame Hoshikage and Hiromi Uzumaki from team 3,4 and 5 respectively along with their senseis.

He had not met them a lot as they were all quite busy with their respective missions and training.

"Thank you everyone for arriving here at a very short notice." Ashira said while all the ones bowed in respect

"I have talked with your senseis and they have said that the skills of all of you have surpassed the Genin level by a huge margin and you all are ready to face the true horrors of the shinobi world. That's why you all are promoted to Chunin. Congratulations Young ones and I hope you will continue to reach new heights and keep the village and it's people safe." Ashira said with a smile while he presented each of their promotion letters.

Everyone was smiling as Chino and Itsuki high fived. Kiyoshi pumped his fist in delight. Kaito was taking a nap while leaning on the wall. Jiro celebrated it while eating dangos. God knows where he got that from. Hisame and Hiromi just smiled and thanked the Uzukage.

While Yoriichi was happy to see his friends getting promoted, he was confused as to why he was called in the meeting as he was already a chunin.

Ashira then looked at his Grandson with a gentle smile as he said "As for you my dear grandson, You have proved yourself worthy to become a Jonin of Uzu with your performance in your missions as well as during the kage summit. Congratulations and You have truly made me and your parents proud Yoriichi."
