Geography of Uzushiogakure

When I woke up , I was lying in my bed . I got up and went to the kitchen where I saw dad, mom and grandpa having their breakfast.

" Ah son you have woken up , you lasted a lot longer than we expected on the mountain. Now eat your breakfast and get ready for your shinobi training with grandpa "

" But doesn't grandpa have to do a lot of work due to being the kage of village ? " I asked curiously

" Nonsense , I can even give up my position as the kage of the village for my grandson what's 6-7 hours of training you . Meet me in the garden after having your breakfast"

After having my breakfast , I went to the garden in my training clothes.

I saw grandpa standing there with LOTS OF BOOKS

" Uhm , grandpa aren't we supposed to train for being a Shinobi then why have you got so many

books?"

" You can't train much before unlocking your Chakra, besides you will be future uzukage and clan head of the Uzumaki clan so you need to do know about the strength of the village and other various things related to village . "

"So now let me tell you more about the village .".

"Shinobi of Uzushiogakure have a great deal of chakra control. The heavy Uzumaki influence among the shinobi leads to lots of practice in the sealing arts and various martial arts combat. Our ancient fighting style is known to be barbaric, relying mostly on sheer force. Many villagers find that they are naturally skilled in the medical field and often pursue further in medical ninjutsu . We take a lot of pride in our grand library, which holds the records of all ancestral documents as well as the current literature, which the villagers continually add to. "

"Now let me tell you about the geography of our village"

" Uzushiogakure is located within an island .There are vast natural landmarks that make up the wonderful island. Separated into various sections and zones, the landscape differs from place to place and is known to be a wonder of its own. To the south of the main part of village where we are currently in is the port and the vast wonderful beaches, accompanied with a strip of plains and valleys that ultimately lead into the main gate of Uzushiogakure. To the east is where the Forest of Wonders sits, along with the flowing Reservoir of Eternity. The Reservoir stretches throughout the Forest . The west portion of the island is more fertile farmlands that lead into rigorous terrain and a more desert like environment up north. The north terrain is a scorched earth environment, where now extinct volcano, Death Mountain, resides far from the actual village of Uzushiogakure, off on the coast of the island but it is very rich in chakra metals , gold , copper and iron. It is also the home of one of summoning beast clans who are loyal to the village , the 3 headed hounds. There other summoning clan that lives in the dessert are the moles , they live underground and the last summoning clan are a clan of water sharks that live around the water bodies near the village.

" What is this reservoir of eternity ?" I asked curiously

"The Reservoir of Eternity is said to represent the naturally recycling flow of water that travels throughout the village of Uzushiogakure and isle of Land of Whirlpools .The water itself is as pure as can be, undergoing a series of natural and man-mad filtration making it a much useful resource for the island. At the very base of the village is where the known Reservoir exists, collecting all the water that travels from the peak of Uzushiogakure throughout its vast streams and canals. The water compared to other samples from various parts of the Shinobi World seemed to differ greatly, having an added effect to it possibly from the abundance of flowing natural energy within the island. When applied to plants the water has served to double growth and fertility as opposed to normal water."

"While compared to any other shinobi village we are the smallest but in reality we are the biggest shinobi village"

" Uhhh don't we live in a tiny island right ?"

" You see other villages have a small village in their home country For example Konoha in land of fire is very small compared to the country. While this entire island is our shinobi village and is more than 30 times larger than the actual Konoha village. "

'Wow , 30 times larger' I internally said

Grandpa continued "Although our village is sponsored by land of whirlpools , we have the choice whether we should do a mission given by damiyo or not. So this is another reason our village is better than other villages. We are independent of the country we reside in."

"Now let's talk about our relations with other villages"

Uzushiogakure had close ties with Konoha, as Uzushiogakure's Uzumaki Clan are distant blood relatives of Konoha's Senju Clan

As a result, most of Konoha shinobi clothing bear the crest of Uzushiogakure as a symbol of the strong friendship between the villages. As for our enemies, the recently formed village hidden in the mist doesn't seem to like us ."

"Our village is surrounded by Whirlpools, which act as a natural barrier against anyone that are willing to attack our village. After some research we have managed to control these Whirlpools thanks to our fuinjutsu so that we can move in and out freely ."

" Grandpa what if someone else manage to control these Whirlpools."

" Don't worry grandson only an Uzumaki can control these Whirlpools , I will tell you more about this later. Let's talk about the different countries and where they are located from us."

" The land of fire is the nearest country to us followed by the country of hot springs.They are too our north . Since land of fire is very big , there are many people who hire us for missions. While the entirety of country of hot springs prefer us over their own recently formed village to give out missions. Land of hand springs are to our north east .Land of water is the next country nearest to us which has lot of islands and many of such islands also give us their missions in comparison to their own village hidden in the mist. That's probably the reason why they hate us . Land of water is to our south. To our west is the land of woods which is connected to the land of fire , they don't have any shinobi village and give us their missions since we are closest to them . To our east is the land of lightning. Although the main country of land of lightning is very far from us , there country also includes a big island to our east which is near us. Since this island is far away from the village hidden in the clouds , they also prefer us over them to do their missions. Although they don't show any hostile relations with us, we believe they are not so happy with us ."
