127 Genkai Vs Yoriichi (2)
Yoriichi was at the center of the explosion caused by Genkai's unusual jutsu 'Dark Release: Shadow explosion.
As the smoke from the explosion cleared, Yorrichi appeared with some burn wounds that were already healing. There were some burned rocks around him that were created by Yoriichi's earth armor jutsu and were destroyed by the explosion.
Although the jutsu was very strong, Yoroichi was able to withstand the attack with only minor injuries thanks to the earthen armor jutsu and the high endurance of Yoriichi which was amplified by 10x due to the demon slayer mark.
'What the fuck was that jutsu? How did he even manage to explode my shadow?' Yoriichi looked at his shadow to see that his shadow was still alive as he breathed a sigh of relief after seeing his shadow still 'alive'.
'But does that mean that he would be able to use that jutsu on me anytime? How should I prevent him from using that jutsu? It looked like for this jutsu to work he had to send his chakra through his shadow to mine. I will just have to make sure to prevent his shadow from coming in contact with mine. ' As Yoriichi came to his conclusion his widened as he suddenly backflipped.
In front of him was Genkai's shadow extending and reaching towards his own and when Yoriichi looked at the hand sign that Genkai was making, he cursed his sensei.
'Since when can he use the Nara clan's shadow possession jutsu? Damn it, He has been hiding his abilities from me. That means that he could use Shadow stitching jutsu as well as other such jutsus. Well, now that I think about it, his kekkei genkai is called dark release as well as shade release and he could teleport through his shadows. So his Kekkei Genkai is technically based on using and controlling shadows.'
'Maybe the Nara clan had ancestors with Dark release Kekkei Genkai but their descendants did not manage to get the kekkei Genkai instead only got affinity with Yin release which led to the creation of their shadow techniques. When I become the Uzukage, I should introduce a subject called the history of shinobi where such things are taught. It would be a great subject for the kids and very informative.'
Yoriichi had the leisure to think about such things even amidst such a highly intense battle.
'Well, sensei's speed is still too much for me. I have difficulty trying to keep up with his attacks even with one of my demon slayer marks activated. Activating another mark is out of the question since I would not be able to maintain it for long and if I could not finish sensei within a small time frame then my body would not be able to handle so much boost and would eventually collapse. That leaves me with only one option.'
Yoriichi closed his eyes as he took a deep breath as his senses spread around.
'Transparent world'
Yoriichi now had his eyes set on Genkai. He could even see the inner workings of Genkai's organs. Even a single twitch of his muscles was sensed by Yoriichi.
The transparent world was truly like the poor man's combination of Sharingan and Byakugan. It was a special form of ocular extrasensory perception that altered their vision, allowing them to perceive other living beings as if they were transparent. It allowed the person to see the inner workings of the enemy's body which included perceiving the flow of blood, breathing, muscular contractions and joint movements.
Using this information, An experienced fighter can use the input of Transparent World's power to predict and evade their opponent's attacks, as well as to find openings for their own strikes.
As for why it had properties of sharingan is because it allows the user to perceive the world around them as if it were in slow-motion. Thus, dramatically increasing their movement speed and reflexes which would tremendously help Yoriichi fight Genkai who could teleport multiple times in seconds.
[A/N: This description is for people who forgot or dont know what transparent world is and how does it work. i have mentioned it in a previous chapter but i decided to add it since its been a while that I described it and to refresh your memory and maybe to add to the word count hehehe.]
Yoriichi dashed towards Genkai for Round Two. Genkai had his adamantine chains protecting him like a certain octopus villain in Marvel. But thanks to the boost from the Transparent world, he managed to dodge and deflect them and reach Genkai for a close fight.
Genkai was not able to keep up with Yoriichi's skilled swordsmanship and had received small injuries all over his body.
Genkai had used dark release chakra to cover his body in a defensive manner which managed to reduce the power of Yoriichi's attacks and thus limit the damage of the attacks that landed on him. All the lightning/thunder that accompanied his attacks disappeared as soon as it came in contact with the dark chakra coating.
Genkai suddenly backflipped and ran away from Yoriichi. His aim was to make distance between them.
'What is he planning now?'
Genkai put his arm forward as the infamous diamond mark appeared on his palm and then a very familiar big blackish-purplish ball appeared in front of his hand.
'Is that a fucking tailed beast bomb? Don't tell me that all the chakra that I was using for my breathing techniques was absorbed by him from the start of the fight and now he is releasing it all at once. No no, It should not be possible since I have not used this much chakra. That means, it is his stockpile chakra from previous fights which I did not know he could do or the being inside the box is giving him more chakra to use. My guy says it's the former.
'This attack is too strong. I won't be able to shrink it even with my level 3 Dharmagan. What a pity looks like I would have to rely on my reliable shield.' Yoriichi also put his arm forward.
Genkai launched the big-tailed beast bomb that came from a human towards Yoriichi who formed a pinkish flower barrier in front of him.
"I am the bone of my sword. Rho Aiassss!"
