Finding the Traitor

The entourage of Uzu completed their journey back to Uzushiogakure without any hiccups. They rushed back to Uzushiogakure without any breaks at full speed.

As for the tailed beasts, they were given in sealed vessels to each of the villages. In the end, Uzushiogakure got 6-tails and 7-tails. The tailed beasts would be sealed in jinchurikis after the traitor is found out.

Otherwise the traitor might give sensitive information about the jinchurikis to the enemy villages before he is found.

The first thing Ashira did was hold a meeting with the fuinjutsu masters.

All the level 4 sealmasters were all called for the meeting. This included all the 3 branch clan heads of the Uzumaki clan.

Even in the past years the number of level 4 fuinjutsu experts did not increase in the village. There are still only 15 of them in the village. Yoriichi himself was still stuck at Level 3.

Ashira explained the situation to his son Haru about his strong assumption of a traitor in the Uzumaki clan's upper echolons who was quite worried at this as he asked Ashira what he is planning to do in the meeting?

Ashira said "I will be revealing that their is a traitor among us."

"But father wouldn't that make the traitor run away or do something dangerous to the village?" Haru asked

"No, Mist would definitely warn the traitor that their secret is out so he should escape the village or stay low for the time being. We would do it before he gets the info from his allys making him scared. I hope he would make a careless and irrational decision so that we can find him." Ashira said as he had prior experience in how to find and deal with traitors and spies.

"Genkai, Call Kota, Hatsu and Yuriko. I would need their help along with you and Hanako to keep an eye on these traitors." Ashira said

[A/N: Just to remind you who these people are. They are senseis of other teams .They are all S rank Shinobi. Kota Eizen of crystal Release, Hatsu Uzumaki of steel release and Yuriko Uzumaki of Swift release]

"Yes, Uzukage-sama" Genkai said as he disappeared

"Father, who do you think the traitor is?" Haru asked

"Not Traitor, traitors Haru. We can't just assume that there is only one traitor. As for who the traitor is I don't know to be honest. Genkai had already checked everyone in the village with his Kekkei Genkai to sense any malice or ill will towards the village but there was no level 4 sealmaster as a traitor. This means whoever it is can control his emotions easily to hide it from others. It should be easy for us Uzumakis anyways."

"As for the traitor, Among the 15 level 4 sealmasters in the village, we can exclude Genkai and the other two heads of the Uzumaki clan. Those three would die rather than betraying the village. Another two of the level-4 fuinjutsu masters are too old and they don't even know about the sensory seals and their formulas. Another one is in Konoha helping them build a barrier along with Mito and also doesn't know about the seal. That leaves 9 suspects."

"Although I trust them all but seeing the situation there is definitely a traitor among them. Besides, there are no level 4 sealmasters in other clans of the village. These 9 were also privy to the formula for this seal and were even making it. Whoever it is, it is among these 9." Ashira said with a sigh

As he said that Genkai along with Kota, Yuriko and Hatsu appeared.

"Your orders Uzukage San?" They all simultaneously asked

"I believe Genkai told you about everything?" Ashira asked to which they nodded.

"Good, You three along with Hanako and the elite Jonin from Chinoike clan will keep an eye on the level 4 sealmasters after the meeting and capture or kill them if they try to run away from the village or do anything dangerous or suspicious. As for you Genkai, I have a special task for you."

Ashira explained Genkai what he has to do.

After listening to Ashira's plan, they were all stunned.

"Dad, how come you came with such a good plan? This can't be your idea." Haru asked suspiciously

"Hahaha, You are right. This is Yoriichi's idea." Ashira laughed as everyone was surprised that such a young lad came with such a devious plan.

"Alright get ready for the meeting. I will tell the other two branch clan heads about this in advance so they will support us in the meeting." Ashira said as everyone busied themselves with their tasks.

---An hour later---

All the level 4 sealmasters that were present and able arrived in the meeting.

They were discussing why had the Uzukage called this urgent meeting right after coming back from the Kage summit.

They speculated that it was likely because of the tailed beasts.

As they were all discussing this, the three branch heads of the Uzumaki clan arrived.

The head of the adamantine chains branch of the Uzumaki clan, Haru Uzumaki who is also the patriarch of the Uzumaki clan and the leader of the barrier corps of the village was the first one to arrive followed by the other two heads.

The head of the healing branch is a middle aged lady who goes by the name Cho Uzumaki. She is also the head of the healing department of the village.

The head of the eye of kagura branch is a middle aged man. His name is Arata Uzumaki and is also the head of the sensor division of the village.

Finally Ashira arrived as he started the meeting by saying "I have grave news to discuss with everyone here."
