117 Convincing Ashira

Yoriichi and Kakazu after reaching Uzushiogakure directly went to the Uzukage office.

Yoriichi directly barged into his grandpa's office without bothering to perform any etiquette as Kakazu followed behind him awkwardly.

"Grandpaaa!! I am back from the mission." Yoriichi said shouting as he saw Ashira dozing off on the massive paperwork in front of him.

"I am not sleeping! I had just closed my eyes to use my sensing ability to check up on the village." Ashira immediately woke up as he said that in a reflex action.

"Sure Sure Grandpa. I did not see anything and I won't tell anyone about it. But....." Yoriichi did a dramatic pause as Ashira realized what Yoriichi wanted.

"What's your price to keep your mouth shut?" Ashira asked seriously

"50" Yoriichi said with a smirk

'He is asking the Uzukage for 50 million ryo just for keeping his mouth shut? Is not the Usukage his grandpa? He is still extorting him. He is going to earn 50 million Ryo just like that? I need to learn from him about how to make such quick money.' Kakazu thought as Yoriichi in his eyes became his idol despite his young age.

"40" Ashira bargained

"Deal, You will get your 45 dangos by the end of today." Ashira said as he relaxed while Yoriichi had a smile on his face. Kakazu was shell-shocked to know that Yoriichi was asking for Dangos and not Ryo. His impression of Yoriichi hit rock bottom as a result.

Ashira noticed the new face in his office.

"It looks like you brought someone with you. Mind introducing me to him?" Ashira asked curiously as even though he was the Uzukage, he did not have time to look through all bingo book shinobi. He had more important paperwork to deal with.

"His name is Kakazu. A missing-nin from the hidden waterfall. He was assigned by them to assassinate Uncle Hashi but well he failed. Uncle Hashi spared him when he tried to assassinate him. When he got back, his village did not like the fact that he failed and thus imprisoned him. He ran away with their forbidden technique." Yoriichi explained Kakazu's story to Ashira

Ashira's expression turned serious as he heard this as he asked Yoriichi in a stern voice that demanded obedience and an honest answer from him "How did you meet him and why is he here?"

"It's a long story while I was returning from my mission, on my way I was ambushed by a full clan of some clan that uses axes. I forgot their name so don't mind me. When I was done with them, Kakazu tried to sneak attack me so that after killing me, he could take my bounty....." Yoriichi was interrupted by Ashira who just heard that Kakazu tried to kill his grandson, he bore his pressure on Kakazu who had to kneel as it was difficult for him to breathe after feeling so much chakra that literally tried to kill him.

"Grandpaa!" Yoriichi shouted

"Ah sorry I got distracted, So why is this guy here and not in the afterlife?" Ashira asked knowing that Yoriichi does not spare his foes.

"Well, you see.... While he was too weak, he had great potential. I wanted him as my subordinate. You always tell me that I should have a trusted strong right-hand man who could deal with my problems when I ascend to the Uzukage just like Genkai sensei helps you. He has the potential to be that person." Yoriichi said confidently.

"And how can you trust someone that had tried to kill you?" Ashira asked seriously

"I have placed a cursed seal of bond on him making him unable to betray me and the village. I just wanted to know that will it be okay if he became a shinobi of Uzushiogakure since I kinda promised him. I also promised him to protect him from the hidden waterfall village." Yoriichi said as he then explained about the forbidden technique of Kakazu to Ashira to make him understand his potential.

"I see so you have used the cursed seal of bond. Good Choice." Ashira said to Ken as he then turned to look at Kakazu

"Quite an incredible technique you have got. But remember not to take the heart of a shinobi from not only Uzushiogakure but also its ally villages. Am I clear?" Ashira said glaring at Kakazu who nodded while sweating heavily.

"He would be declared as a shinobi of Uzushiogakure. He would also be protected from the hidden waterfall village so you don't have to worry." Ashira said to Yoriichi as Yoriichi excitedly hugged Ashira.

"Thank you, Grandpa, you are the best!" Yoriichi said as Ashira hugged him back with an amused smile.

Kakazu was surprised at Ashira agreeing so easily without thinking of any repercussions as he asked Ashira "Are not you worried about the hidden waterfall retaliating against the Uzushiogakure by allying with your enemy villages like the mist?"

"Hahahaha" Ashira laughed for a few seconds hearing this.

After he stopped laughing he said "On the contrary, I am pretty happy that I would be pissing off the hidden waterfall village by having you join our village. They have been pretty bold against us lately after we took the tailed beast that they were supposed to get. As for their retaliation, I am pretty sure that you have a lot of their village secrets. I could always blackmail them with it. They might even give us some compensation."

Kakazu was surprised to hear this as he had never thought of using the village's sensitive information against them. He regretted it now as he could have extorted millions of money from his former village using this method.
