Clash between two S rank Shinobis(1)

I was having lunch with my family. Suddenly I had a thought.

"Dad who is stronger between you and mom?" I asked dad who was eating his lunch while mom was in the kitchen bringing extras.

"It's me obviously son, your mom might be a good cook and also a good shinobi but she doesn't hold a candle to your dad hahaha" Dad said

Suddenly there was a long thumping sound as mom put the bowls and plates she brought on the table with such force that I thought she might have broken the table into two.

"What did you say? I can't hold a candle to you, have you forgotten the time when I made you into a popsicle?" Mom said

I could see sweat dripping from dad as he said "That was just because you distracted me with your beauty sweetheart otherwise I would have won."

'Smooth dad smooth' I thought as I saw mom blushing.

"I could beat you again easily." said mom

and then they kept arguing who is stronger among them. At this time, grandpa said

"Alright you two can settle it with a spar. It's been a while since I have seen you two battle and I might just see your progress too. It would help me know you are not slacking on your training. Besides it would be a wonderful experience for young Yoriichi to see a battle between two S-rank shinobis."

"That would be awesome. Dad, mom you two should really battle it out." I said excitedly

"Fine let's do it Hanako" said dad

"Fine, You are on Haru!" I could see sparks flying between them.

After having lunch and after mom and dad got geared up, we went to the training ground where I and dad had the ninjutsu battle.

"I will be the one making rules. So you two could use any weapons. Hanako is not allowed to use Crystal release while Haru is not allowed to use forbidden fuinjutsu (S rank fuinjutsu included) as well as his Adamantine chains. Do you two agree?" Grandpa said

"Yes father we agree." Both mom and dad said it at the same time

I got confused. I could see dad's S rank fuinjutsu being dangerous and should not be used but not Adamantine chains and why is mom not allowed to use Crystal release so I decided to just ask grandpa.

"Grandpa, why is dad not allowed to use Adamantine chains and why is mom not allowed to use Crystal release?"

"That's a good question Yoriichi. Let me tell you something about Crystal release. The

users of Crystal Release can convert any matter into pink, jade-green, red, or blue coloured crystals, from physical material to moisture in the air, allowing them to turn anything into a weapon. This extends to other physical natures, rendering earth and water ninjutsu useless against it. When used on living creatures, targets can be crystallised down to the cellular level, imprisoning them so long as the crystals are in place and shattering them if the crystals are struck, killing them."

"With just this much information, you might be thinking Crystal release is as strong as First Hokage's wood release or even one of the best kekkei genkai in the world. But no it has many weaknesses and by many weaknesses I mean too many of them."

"Crystal Release cannot crystallise raw energy or chakra, as they have no physical mass to crystallise, allowing those with good chakra control to counter it. It also has weakness to lightning and fire natures. Crystal Release is also susceptible to a specific sound wave frequency: because crystal requires a very precise build-up of molecules, the proper sound waves can break down the build-up before the crystal can properly form."

"So you can say Crystal release is weak to fire release, lightning release and sound techniques and they can't crystallize someone with an exceptional chakra control."

"Now here comes the interesting part, as the crystal release user grows in strength, the weaknesses are also reduced. A B- rank crystal release user is not vulnerable to fire release and somewhat to lightning release.

A- rank user's crystal is not vulnerable to lightning. But S rank crystal release users are on another whole level. They are not vulnerable to neither fire nor lightning. They are still vulnerable to sound but they can easily change the sound wave frequency required to break them apart within seconds.

So rendering sound waves is mostly useless."

"The reason I haven't allowed her to use Crystal release because she is S rank and the deadliest aspect of her Crystal Release is that it crystallises the opponents and physical matter at a molecular level, causing them to shatter into crystalline dust as a result. Haru is strong enough to be safe about it and with his exceptional chakra control, he can easily counter her crystal release. But accidents can happen with a second of lapse of concentration, he could lose his limb or two and I don't want my only son to lose his limbs or else who would do my paperwork in my absence."

"As for your dad's Adamantine chains the same reason applies. Although it's not that lethal but it's power grows with the user. Haru is only second to me in the Uzumaki clan in terms of both fuinjutsu and use of Adamantine chains. Besides since Hanako is not allowed to use her crystal release, it would not be fair for her so I also gave Haru a handicap."

I didn't realise Crystal release is that tough. Guren was able to stand against 3-tails and even Kakashi and team-7 and team 8 with this Kekkei Genkai in the anime, so I thought it would be powerful but not this much.

They should really have explained all the Kekkei Genkais in the anime thoroughly. It would have really helped me now.

I can't imagine what other kekkei genkai clans can do. Iwa has three main kekkei genkai clans of Steel release, Explosion release and Lave release.

Kumo has Storm release, magnet release and lava release. Both magnet release and lava release are different from Suna's and Iwa's.

Kumo's magnet release can be used together with a selection of metallic weapons, in particular shuriken. By magnetising these tools, one could produce a powerful magnetic field within any other object that came into contact with them, which would then attract other magnetic objects towards the target, dramatically increasing the chances of a successful follow-up attack. However, the magnetic force that is generated, lessens with each transfer. Toroi in the forth Great ninja war possessed this magnet release.

As for lava release, it's not the hot red lava release but rather the user expels a large glob of lava from their mouth, which quickly solidifies into a hollow ball that can be used to protect an object by surrounding it with the durable rubber-like material. The properties of this substance mean that it can both absorb and dissipate the force behind a blow when struck, resulting in it either deforming or bouncing upon impact. It should be called rubber release but people call it lava release don't know anyways.

Mom and dad got into position to start the battle.

"Begin" said grandpa and they both launched towards each other.

I wanted to tell you more about Crystal release. I feel it has a lot of potential.

Also I wanted to tell you that other villages also have Kekkei Genkai clans outside of Uzushiogakure, Konoha and Mist.

So it's not that I am making Uzushiogakure OP, all the villages are OP since there has been no war to kill these clans and make them extinct.
