95 Changes

A week later after the traitors were found and interrogated, there were a lot of things being done in the village.

Firstly, The traitor who attacked Yoriichi was executed in front of the entire Uzushiogakure.

The Uzukage told everyone about how he betrayed the village and that if someone is found to be a traitor, he/she will severely be punished.

The civilians and other Shinobi of the village were happy to find out that the traitors have been found out and now the village would be safe from them.

But Ashira told them that there were still traitors in the village and urged the people to report any suspicious activities.

He also put on a one week lockdown in the village which meant no one could leave or enter the village.

All Shinobis on missions were called back and all the missions were postponed. The traitors whose names were given previously were apprehended. The ones not belonging to the village especially the spies were killed without any hesitation. Surprisingly, there were less than 10 people who belonged to Uzushiogakure's Shinobi corps who was a traitor.

Genkai again used his dark release to sense the emotions of a person and checked most of the Shinobis of the village.

The most traitors were the civilians and merchants which made the Uzukage think about how to stop the spies from other villages entering the village through these channels. Ultimately he realised that it was impossible to do so.

The only thing they could do was limit their numbers and not allow them access to the upper echolons of the village.

The two other level 4 sealmasters were prisoned within the village and were having to make seals and scrolls nonstop for 16 hours a day.

They had found that the spies were from almost 10 minor villages and three great villages. After interrogating them that the mission of most of them was to get access to fuinjutsu seals and scrolls and supply it to the villages.

The upper brass of the village had a meeting as they realised that they couldn't keep the techniques and secrets of fuinjutsu to themselves for long.

The other villages would want it at some point especially now that they had to seal the tailed beasts in jinchurikis.

Impure seals could lead to the release of the tailed beast and the beast going on a rampage inside the village which no village wanted.

After a two day meeting, It was decided that they wouldn't give up their techniques and sealing formulas at any cost. The reason for this was quite simple. If other villages are not willing to share their forbidden jutsus or other jutsus with them why should they up their techniques.

In the end they decided to take advantage of their situation while also increasing their friendship with the other Shinobi villages.

They decided to sell the seals and scrolls that could be mass produced easily and some that were a result of a higher level of fuinjutsu.

They were not afraid that the villages would in time be able to make their own such seals. The reason was that Uzumaki were born talented in fuinjutsu and even in Uzushiogakure there were less than 10 people who are not a part of Uzumaki clan and are

stuck at Level 3 sealmaster rank even with all the resources.

The other villages might get lucky with a talent or two in fuinjutsu but they alone wouldn't be able to copy the formula of such high level seals easily.

So the seals made by the two traitor level-4 fuinjutsu masters were decided to be sold to other Shinobi villages.

And the other thing they decided was to personally offer their services send their Fuinjutsu masters to seal tailed beasts in the jinchurikis.

Of course this offer was not offered to the mist. Considering the enmity the village had shown towards Uzushiogakure, it was natural.

This mist had send some Shinobi to check up on the traitors and meet up with them when they had send the chakra metal and Ryo that was promised by the Mizukage as a result of him losing the bet.

Since no one was allowed in the village, the money and chakra metal were taken from them outside the village and they didn't get to enter the village.

So the mist Shinobi decided to send two of theirs inside the village to check the situation of the traitors from the blindspot of the barrier but the ones sent never returned as they were found within seconds by the barrier.

The barrier around the village was checked and repaired by Haru completely making sure no more blind spots were there.

Another decision that was taken in the meeting were who should be the jinchurikis of the the two tailed beasts i.e six tails and seven tails and what should be the future of these jinchurikis whether they should be confined within the village or allowed to go outside of the village for missions.

Yoriichi had told his grandpa his 'theory' that the tailed beasts had emotions and the jinchuriki and tailed beast could technically become friends making the jinchuriki using the tailed beast power freely.

The Uzukage didn't believe his theory much as the tailed beasts were known as the bringers of destruction and mindless beasts.

But still it was decided that if the jinchuriki managed to befriend and use the power of the tailed beast freely, he or she would be allowed to go outside the village. Until then, they would be confined in the village.

Another thing Yoriichi suggested was having two seals placed while sealing the beasts. One for sealing the beast inside the jinchuriki and the other so that the beast doesn't get mine controlled or under a Genjutsu when inside the jinchuriki.

This theory of his was supported as no one wanted a jinchuriki/tailed beast getting controlled even if there was no one there who could possibly do that. Yoriichi just scoffed at that and thought only if they knew the future.

They didn't have any seal for it so Ashira himself decided to create such seal along with his son Haru.

The future of Uzushiogakure with all these changes was not looking that bad right now.

In fact, the village now had the most stability amoung all rhe shinobi villages without any internal politics affecting it.
