119 Beast Breathing (2)

After a few months, Yoriichi finally made progress in his quest to learn beast breathing by imitating the actions of wild animals. He had made quite a progress.

It took him some time to get used to it. There was no particular breathing pattern that was required to use this breathing style. It was more like animalistic instinct.

Yoriichi's version of beast breathing was just being himself independent of any useless thoughts and movements just like a wild beast.

He had to work on his physical strength to use beast breathing to its full extent. He had now some ripped muscles, especially his triceps and biceps muscles. And to have such muscles in the Naruto world says a lot as even Might Guy was pretty thin compared to the amount of strength he had. Yoriichi still was quite lean which he kinda of preferred over a totally ripped-off body which is all bulked up with muscles.

Anyways Yoriichi finally had a clear idea as to what is required to master beast breathing. One requires good chakra control, a large amount of chakra, being wild and free of restrictions, and a good sense of touch as well as smell along with good reflexes to learn beast breathing.

If there was any other clan outside of the Hoshikage clan that was suited to use this style of Kenjutsu was the Inuzuka clan of Konoha according to Yoriichi. Although they lacked a large amount of chakra, they could make it up with their wild nature.

As for why a large amount of chakra was required, It was to generate more power. while using beast breathing, one has to cover his swords in pure chakra. This did not require any specific breathing pattern or a god's blessing as anyone with a very good chakra control could do it.

If one has a large amount of chakra, they would be able to use this kenjutsu for longer fights as well as using some sword forms that require a substantial amount of chakra to be used.

Currently, Yoriichi was swinging his dual blades that cost about 30 million Ryo each. More than 80℅ of the blades were made up of the highest quality of chakra metal.

While he could use Muramasa but she was a katana and was not suited for beast breathing techniques. Dual straight blades were best for this style of kenjutsu.

Katana techniques required a calm and composed technique while beast breathing was all about being wild.

After Yoriichi was done with practice, he called Kakazu who was doing his own training nearby.

"What is it?" Kakazu asked

"I want you to be my training partner," Yoriichi said with a straight face.

Kakazu though was suspicious of Yoriichi since in the past Yoriichi had taken advantage of his immortality and had used him as a testing dummy for his sword techniques.

38, that was the number of hearts that he had to replace because of Yoriichi using him as a training dummy.

Kakazu continued looking at Yoriichi with narrowed eyes as Yoriichi relented and he released a sigh.

"Fine, I want you to be my training dummy. I want to test my new kenjutsu style and who better than someone with an immortal being like you? But don't worry, I would provide you with some hearts like always." Yoriichi said with a smile that sent shivers down Kakazu's spine.

'Immortal being my ass! You can kill me within ten seconds if you are serious about killing me.' Kakazu thought

"Those bandit shinobi hearts are of a very bad quality. Ughh. Fine, I will just use the hearts of lesser quality right now. Let me change my hearts and try not to kill me by destroying all my hearts." Kakazu said as he changed his good-quality hearts with bad-quality ones that he kept in storage scrolls.

"I am ready," Kakazu said as black threads came out of his body as they protected his entire body.

Due to constant training with Yoriichi, the number of threads he could use at once had skyrocketed. He was now protected by 100s of layers of black thread. He even activated the iron skin jutsu.

"Jeez man, You are overreacting. These techniques won't do so much damage. I doubt that you would lose even one of your hearts with so many defenses on." Yoriichi said as he got in his stance.

Pure chakra covered his two blades as several black threads rushed in his direction to impale him.

'Beast breathing;Eighth Fang: Explosive Rush'

He rushed at immense speed towards Kakazu while dodging the black threads. He was like a jaguar who has sensed his prey and went after the prey ignoring all other obstacles. The reason for this increase in speed was that he had combined the beast-breathing footwork with the shunshin no jutsu, hence increasing his speed to unimaginable levels.

'Such speed. I can barely see him. He is not even using a large amount of chakra to move at such speeds.' Kakazu thought scared for his precious hearts.

Kakazu adopted a new strategy since he couldn't particularly locate where Yoriichi was, so he decided to attack the entire area.

Yoriichi suddenly found him surrounded by black threads from all locations with no space to dodge.

He jumped in the air and spun as the chakra on his sword brightened.

'Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting'

He released countless chakra slashes that cut everything in their path in all the directions.

Yoriichi continued on his way to Kakazu's main body seeing that there were no more black threads hindering his path.
