118 Beast Breathing (1)

It's been a month since Kakazu settled in Uzushiogakure and officially became a shinobi of the village. The village council was told about his circumstances and what led to him betraying his previous village. After seeing his strength and the things he could possibly do in the future along with the fact that he would be loyal to the village no matter what because of the seal placed on him, everyone in the council decided to accept him inside the village.

His title as a missing-nin was no longer valid.

But he still had a bounty on his name which was put on him by his previous village. In fact, after hearing that Kakazu had become a shinobi of Uzushiogakure, they increased it by a mammoth 30 million.

They were truly angry to see a shinobi village give shelter to one of their village's worst criminals. They requested the Uzukage to give Kakazu to them since he held various of their village secrets or else would have to face severe repercussions.

Ashira's reply was a casual 'Do what you want! We are not handing over one of us to you. But remember we could use your secrets against you anytime.'

Surprisingly, the Hidden Waterfall did not care about their secrets being leaked and getting exposed to the shinobi world. They only wanted their missing nin handed to them.

They even tried to ally with the mist to build pressure on Uzushiogakure. But the Mizukage knew that the two of their villages were not enough to even cause harm to the Uzushiogakure shinobi forces. Instead, It would be them that would suffer because of any battle between them just like they have suffered in the past.

Ashira though put a stop to all of the hidden waterfall's plans by talking with their land's damiyo whose son happened to be trying to become a shinobi in the Uzushiogakure's academy. He even told why Kakazu was forced to leave the hidden waterfall village to the damiyo.

The Damiyo condemned the action of the waterfall village. He berated the village's kage for giving such a stupid order to assassinate the first Hokage which led to the escape of such a capable shinobi.

He then said that the waterfall village has to compromise by releasing all charges on Kazuzu and he should no longer be considered a traitor.

So the village higher-ups had to shut up and follow the Damiyo's orders if they did not want to lose the backing of their Damiyo. If that happened, all the nobles of the land of Waterfall would no longer 'donate' money to them for the betterment of their village or even give them missions which could crumble their economy.

Ashira had won the round of politics with the Land of the Waterfall. Although Kakazu was forced to become a part of the Uzushiogakure village, he was extremely happy to see the lengths the village had gone for him.

Currently, Ken was in a forest in the island of Uzushiogakure. He was trying to train and develop beast breathing.

The fun fact about beast breathing was that it is completely different from other breathing forms and Ken believed if he managed to learn it, he could possibly train others in this style of Kenjutsu which could be technically learned by everyone in the village.

Just imagine, all the Kenjutsu users in Uzushiogakire using beast-breathing sword techniques. Thought not everyone would be able to learn it. In fact, Ken believed that only one percent of the shinobi in Uzushiogakure would be able to use the beast-breathing sword style.

Beast Breathing is a Breathing Style that mimics beasts/wild animals, specifically their unpredictable, ferocious, and wild nature, including movements, attacks and senses, and replicates it with the user's movements, techniques and abilities.

One should have good physical strength, large quantities of chakra, and sharp senses especially the sense of touch to at least start training for beast breathing.

Thus, The Uzumaki clan and Hoshikage clan were the only two clans in Uzushiogakure that fit the bill to learn it.

In fact, the Hoshikage clan might have more talent for beast breathing than even the Uzumakis thanks to their 'Shark' heritage.

Most of them spend time with their summoning beasts which are sharks inside water. The Hoshikage kids start playing with sharks when they are kids.

Anyways, Yoriichi's training method for learning beast-breathing sword techniques involved immersing himself in an isolated, serene forest. Then begin by observing the movements and behaviors of various wild animals, paying special attention to their agility and precision. And then trying to mimic them.

Yoriichi was doing just that as he watched a group of monkeys swinging from the trees and decided to give it a try himself. Clumsily, he grabbed a vine and attempted to mimic their acrobatics.

,"Aaaaaa" He shouted trying to imitate someone from a certain jungle book.

However, his swinging ended with a less-than-graceful faceplant in the dirt, much to the amusement of the nearby monkeys.

Undeterred, Yoriichi moved on to the next animal, a snake. He observed a snake slithering gracefully through the underbrush and decided to give it a go. He lay flat on the ground, wiggling and writhing, but instead of imitating the snake, he resembled a flailing earthworm, leaving the snakes unimpressed.

He did not give up though as he kept trying and trying. Thankfully, no one was there to witness the comical display of the future 'God of Shinobi'.
