Yoriichi P.O.V

I woke up after some time from chakra exhaustion. Silly me didn't take chakra from the scabbard to not fall unconscious.

Anyways once I woke up I had to calm down my mom and had to answer a barrage of questions.

I had to assure her I was fine and next time I won't be doing such things. I doubt that though.

Dad asked me about what happened and I explained it to him and then he praised me and asked me about my new technique that I used. And I had to promise him not to do such things again.

I explained to him about the ice hydra Jutsu that the Yuki guy used. Dad said it was a genius idea and can be used in various other ninjutsus.

He also said that he would share this jutsu with the Yuki clan in return for some wind jutsus we didn't have or simply money. I asked him whether I would get some share of the money and he said I was too young to handle money and it would be used for the clan's progress.

Shameless. Absolutely shameless. Young to handle money but not to fight and kill shinobi?

Well, then he told me about the different security measures they were going to take to strengthen the security of the village as well as they were going try and find more spies in the village. He didn't tell me how they would find them though.

I liked the security measures they were going to take. I always felt why Uzushiogakure didn't have walls to restrict and check entry of people into the village. Now they would have one and FUCKING CANNONS, now that I think about it, did not kumo make a canon that could destroy the moon, ours would be less powerful though. But still it will help during any air attacks on the village.

The best part is now at least they will start finding the spies and traitors in the village and they will be on guard against any possible betrayal. I don't think there would be any more extinction level threat to the village but still these traitors will continue to do harm to the village, so will have to get rid of them fast.

I got back to training the next day. Now I know where I stand in the shinobi world after yesterday's battle. I will have to improve on my taijutsu, Fully learn thunder breathing and flame breathing, learn higher tier ninjutsu, fuinjutsu, medical ninjutsu and poison arts.

Too much work to do for me. It would at least take me a decade to master them all or even more.

I started training to learn flame breathing completely and to reduce its chakra cost by mastering it. While at the same time I took fuinjutsu lessons with dad. I learned about medical ninjutsu and poison arts in the academy. Just the basics though, not anything special.

-Timeskip 2 years-

It was my birthday today as I have turned 10 years old today.

During the past 2 years, I have learned flame breathing and have increased my mastery of water breathing. Along with that I officially have become a rank 3 fuinjutsu expert. I have learned the rasengan too. I tried to add Nature transformation to it but I failed so no rasenshuriken or anything like that for me yet. Maybe when I have multiple shadow clones to learn it.

I have also advanced in poison arts and medical ninjutsu. I was trying to improve my medical ninjutsu by working as an assistant in the hospital. And yes now the village has a hospital and it was not me who was responsible for setting it up. Hashirama had set up the hospital in konoha and since it was a success there, grandpa decided to set it up here also.

Talking about konoha, they have also changed the village ranking system and now D rank Shinobis are called genins, C rank to Chunin, B rank to Jonin and A rank to elite Jonin. And all the villages around the world adopted the system surprisingly and not just Uzushiogakure even Mist and Kumo.

As for the S rank Shinobi, they would be continued to be called S rank Shinobi since there can only be one person who can be called a kage in a village.

As I was doing my daily training I experienced a sharp pain in my head and eyes. I started to clutch my head in pain and I fell down.

P.o.V change

Hanako Uzumaki P.O.V

I was watching Yoriichi train. He was already 10 years old and on his way to become one of the greatest shinobi.

Suddenly he clutched his head in pain and fell down on the ground.

"Yoriichiiii" I shouted

I rushed towards him and see what was wrong. I decided to take him to the village hospital. I sent one of the clan guards to inform Haru about it.

I placed Yoriichi on the bed in the medical room. The Uzumaki doctor was checking him.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO MY GRANDSONNN??!" I heard dad shouting and Haru trying to calm him down and turned back to see them with a worried look.

"Uzukage sama, don't worry it looks like young master Yoriichi is awakening his eye of kagura." The doctor said

"Pheww, I was worried for nothing." Dad said with a relieved look and I too was relieved.

"But....." Doctor said

"But WHATTTT?" Dad shouted

"Father, it's a hospital please speak at a low voice." Haru said

"It looks like Young master Haru has a kekkei genkai and by that I mean a Dojutsu which has awakened which is causing him pain in the eyes. I could sense some chakra movements in his eyes." The doctor said

"Now that you say that, even I can sense a massive amount of chakra from his eyes. Is he one of the lucky ones to get a Kekkei Genkai without the DNA?" Dad said

"He would be awake within an hour. So you don't have to worry about him." The doctor said and walked out of the room.

With that we waited for Yoriichi to wake up.
